I absolutely loved ny stay at this flat in London! The location couldn't have been better - just a short walk to the tube station and with easy access to multiple bus routes, getting around the city was a breeze. The flat itself had everything we needed and more. It was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. The host gave us excellent directions on how to get from Heathrow to the flat and showed us around when we got there!! I would definitely stay here again on our next visit!
Great location, cute little place and good size for 2. James was lovely and was there to give us a hand with our bags at check in. Would definitely book again next time I am in London.
Fantastic property with the best front room/salon! Right in the heart of Covent Garden. Amazing king size bed, and quiet! Mini kitchen with everything you need. The Indian restaurant below the apartment is fabulous. Would happily stay here again.
78 Neal St is a perfect location. We walked almost everywhere, but tube and bus are also handy. The flat had everything we needed, small but well furnished kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and gas stove top. Full size washer and dryer. Quiet bedroom despite the noisy street outside. Living room with TV was comfortable. Our only complaint was cleanliness: when we arrive we spent the first 1/2 hour cleaning junk out of closets and drawers, all sorts of stuff left over from previous tenants or owners. Bathroom had several problems: sink didn't drain, James called a plumber, he came vacuumed the trap, said it was fixed. It was a little better, but sink still drained very slowly. We had to take the shower head off and clean with lime scale remover and a toothbrush because it was so full of scale. Fan didn't work. We enjoyed our stay, but they need to get new cleaners.
The 5 nights we spent at this flat came at the end of a month-long trip in Europe and it couldn't have been a better finish! Seven Dials is just one of the sweetest spots in London, and this flat feels like the quintessential authentic West End experience. We walked or caught buses or the tube to Mayfair, Hyde Park, Kensington, the V & A, Camden Market, Bloomsbury and the British Museum, Covent Garden, the Borough Market and Southbank. We saw a show at Picadilly Theatre and did a Thames cruise to Greenwich and back. Honestly, we pretty much did a sweep of the Monopoly board, all from this lovely, quiet-bedroomed flat that made me feel like I was in a Hugh Grant movie ;) And I can't even list the fabulous food we ate along the way. There are so many restaurants and unique eateries within 15 minutes' walk and Seven Dials market, with all its Insta-viral delights, is basically across the street. And there's a Tesco Express a couple of blocks away for emergency wine and cheese, or if you feel like putting the well-equipped little kitchen to use for a quiet night in.James was brilliant, with excellent communication (and very patient when I had some difficulty sending emails while traveling through France.) And Barry downstairs in the Astrology shop is just lovely. My husband was originally a little reluctant to go to London, but now tells everyone who'll listen that it was the highlight of our trip! And I'm convinced this Seven Dials gem is a big part of the reason for that! 3
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and we could walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions. A change in ownership forced a change to our original booking, but James handled it very well.
My husband and I stayed in this flat for 10 days. The location cannot be beat! James was easy to communicate with and even allowed us an early check in. The living room of the flat was just wow! So cozy and comfortable with 4 large windows. We loved relaxing in that room. The bed was comfortable and there was no noise. The bathroom is small, but manageable. We always had hot water. The kitchen was nice. The only issue we had with the flat was the smell from the Indian restaurant downstairs. It appeared to be coming into the kitchen, so we kept those doors closed at all times. The flat was decorated nicely and the living room and location really made it a nice stay.
This area offered everything we needed for a stay in London - theater district, access to public transportation, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Note that there are several steps up to the flat (European 1st floor) and the washing machine is shared by the other apartment above and is located on the ground floor. Never had an issue using it. Very secure area - had to unlock 3 doors to access.
I'd call it more "funky" than "elegant," but this place is darn near perfect. It's got everything you need for your stay, including a great bed, a well stocked kitchen and a comfy living room. The location is in the Covent Garden neighborhood, near Soho, close to all the West End theatres, Big Ben/Parliament, the Great Eye, Trafalgar Square, and much more. Tottenham Cross Rd and Covent Garden are the closest tube stops, and the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow will drop you within a short walk of the flat. While there, we enjoyed theatre, dining, shopping, touristing, and even a boat ride to Shakespeare's Globe. I highly recommend this unit.
Property is well located. Although on a busy street for pedestrians, tourists and shoppers it was suitably quiet. Easy to find a taxi or public transportation, shops for food and restaurants. Iâve found other properties have a âwhere to findâ guide which would have been helpful here as recommendations from locals is always preferred to an online search. The combo washer/dryer was good to have but difficult to use. Overall Iâd stay here again.
My husband and I spent 6 nights and loved it. Best location ever! Near Neal's Yard, wonderful restaurants, pubs, coffee shops. Flat was clean and comfortable. Felt very safe. Highly recommend!
We stayed here recently and we cannot say enough good things about it!!!! It is in the most amazing area! The streets are bustling during the day and super quiet at night. The flat is so cozy and cute and it was an absolute dream. It was so much better than a generic hotel! It is so charming. The owner is super sweet and responsive. He was always available to answer any questions. The location of the flat is perfect as well. You are within walking distance of all the huge landmarks of London and the shopping of Covent Garden cant be beat! The tiny breakfast restaurant right across the street and the Indian restaurant right below the flat are to die for!!!!!! I loved this place so much, I will book my future trips to London around the availability of this fla
Very old property and interesting, for sure. Nothing felt or looked clean in a way that satisfied my very high standards but I tried to overlook that given its location and charm. I wondered if a property as old as this one would be impossible to clean.
Charming old flat in the heart of London. The owner made the check-in process easy, Everything at your door including the Underground about 150 metres up the street.
This is really a beautiful old London flat. We loved the apartmentâs charm, ease of having a nice kitchen, beautiful living room with a tv and great music, super comfortable bed, and convenient location. The apartment is very central, but also in a very busy area. We were able to get everywhere we wanted to go very easily and came home to a practically silent bedroom. Would absolutely stay here again.
Me and my wife wee looking to get see a couple of West End shows in London for the week before Christmas. This flat's location is perfect. It is right on the edge of large crowds in Covent Gardens and Piccadilly Circus. Check-in was a piece of cake and the flat was perfect for two people. The bathroom is small but you get used to it in a day. Lots of places to eat and shop. James was very attentive even though there was no need, since the flat had everything. Highly recommended.
