The house is on the hill, with a beautifull view on the valey and the sea.
The house is big and well equiped, it has everything you need for a short and a long stay.
It's realy private and there is no sound of traffic or anything.
The familiy was there to welcome us and made sure everything in the house worked.
We got a direct en helpfull responce on any question during our stay.
The view is stunning. The village is les then 5 minutes by car and 15 minutes walk, and you can get all your groceries there.
The area is beautifull, the sea is about a 45 minutes drive, the sites of Pomeii, Vesuvius, Paestum, Amalfi cost and Napels are about an hour drive.
We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for the hospitality.
Our stay at Villa Venere was fantastic! Luca is a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful whenever you need anything, and he makes sure you have everything you need and more. The house was exactly what we were looking for: peaceful, solitary and relaxing with amazing views of the surrounding area. Itâs a huge house with an equally large terrace to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. We slept very well, as the beds and bedding are comfortable and the only sounds you hear are the crickets. There are gorgeous views from every bedroom and the sunsets here are stunning.
The house is within walking distance to a small town where you can find wonderful bread, pastries, and several pizzerias. La Doga was our favorite for great pizza and shouldnât be missed. The house is located at the end of a quiet residential street, so there is no traffic and no noisy neighbors.
The only thing we were lacking was the convenience of a dishwasher, but the house had everything else we needed, including a brand new washing machine.
We are grateful to have stayed in such a wonderful home and hope to come back again one day!
We spend a very nice week in the house. The house is very spacious (excellent wifi!) and offers a magnificant view over the vally until the sea some 20km's away. Elena is a lovely hoast, providing a warm and pleasant welcome. Postiglione is a small town offering a great local experience. Everything's there. A lovely coffeebar, a supermarket at the entrance of the village, a pizza restaurant. And pay a visit to the hairdresser, very Italian. We spend our week visiting the area, highlights including Paestum, Amalfi coastal road, Vesuvius and PompeĂŻ. Prepare your visit, there is a lot to enjoy in the area.
We really enjoyed our stay in this villa in Postiglione. The house is perfectly located for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The views from the property overlooking the coastline on one side and the mountain range on the other are stunning. The place is perfectly located to explore the area that has plenty to offer: Pasteum, Amalfi and Cilento coastline and many other local attractions. Do not miss Vannulo and Barloti farms!
We received a very warm welcome from the hosts, who took the time to explain how everything works in the house and gave us tips of what to see and where to go. The house offered lots of space for everybody (we were two families) and was very clean. Local area offered all amenities and the people are very friendly.
We had a great time and would come back!
This huge 3 storey villa is simply amazing! Set high in the mountains overlooking Salerno and the Amalfi coast, it has everything one requires. The area is exceptionally quiet and beautiful. The hosts were friendly , respectful and extremely helpful. We would love to stay there again, next time we are in Italy.
We spent one week in Villa Venere in May for three. The house is quietly located on the outskirts of Postiglione, surrounded by nature and mountains. It's all there, what you need for a holiday and even rainy days you survive well, because you have a lot of space. Vito and his family are very friendly. They all came at the beginning and explained the house to us. During the week we were invited to Eboli and were also given a gift. In Postiglione there is a supermarket, bigger ones in Eboli. The sights can usually be reached in one hour. We especially liked Paestum and Padula. In the area there are large caves and beautiful mountain villages. The Amalfi coast can only be reached via the coastal road and somewhat adventurous - the wild coast of the plain is much nicer. Thanks to Vito, who was very friendly and the whole family Della Corte for the fantastic dinner. We will return defnitely.
