Cette fantastique villa de 7 chambres est spacieuse et aérée. Situé dans un parc tranquille dans une position surélevée et paisible et à quelques pas de la plage. Il y a des terrasses ensoleillées ou ombragées à tout moment de la journée et une piscine imposante, située dans les jardins avec pelouse. Il y a une grande terrasse extérieure couverte avec des tables et des chaises en teck et un barbecue construit donnant sur la mer. Dans d'autres domaines, une table et des chaises en rotin offrent un endroit calme pour s'asseoir et réfléchir au sens de la vie. La villa est joliment présentée et est lumineuse et aérée. La cuisine est ouverte sur le salon et équipée d'appareils haut de gamme avec un système d'eau potable purifiée et une machine à café Nespresso. Le salon est équipé de SKY TV avec chaîne cinéma et sports, DVD, chaîne stéréo et Internet Wifi gratuit (dans toute la villa). Toute la villa est silencieusement climatisée. Il y a une grande salle de jeux avec tennis de table et tables de billard. La villa principale dispose de 5 chambres, toutes avec salle de bains privative et 2 autres chambres communicantes, chacune avec salle de douche attenante, sont situées sous la terrasse principale. Les prix indiqués sont pour une occupation de 7 chambres, mais nous pouvons être en mesure d'offrir un tarif réduit à certaines périodes de l'année si toutes les chambres ne sont pas nécessaires.

The best Villa on Menorca is La Calera!

We had a group of 12 friends celebrating big birthdays. We all came over from the USA. This Villa was beyond perfect. Every couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The huge patio was perfect for our celebration dinner! The short walk to a great bakery made for perfect morning breakfasts. The pool is huge and the weather was perfect for swimming. We all hung out by the pool each day and had a blast talking and joking. I love that the kitchen is stocked with nice dishes and glassware and not junk like some places. This Villa is AAA! I hope we can all come back one day for a reunion. Five stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

El único punto negativo, es que hay solo una TV , 7 habitaciones solo 1 TV. al menos para los mayores debe de haber alguna otra. No habían manteles o individuales para ninguna mesa.

Beautiful property, perfect location and all round brilliant holiday

I took my family to stay at La Calera this summer and we absolutely loved it. There were 12 of us in total but you barely knew it thanks to how spacious the property was. All of the bedrooms were a perfect size, the pool is huge, the games room was great and the kitchen was extremely well stocked for those wanting to self cater. The location couldn't have been better either. Short walk away from everything you need including the beach, small supermarket, bakery and some lovely restaurants and bars. I couldn't recommend the villa more to anyone going with a large group of people. We will definitely be coming back again.

Perfect family villa

La Calera is conveniently placed for local amenities but with a feeling of privacy and tranquility. Inside, the bedrooms are well proportioned and comfortable with most en-suites being modern. The bed linen and towels are of a high quality and beautifully clean. The kitchen is well equipped, plenty of glasses etc if the villa is at capacity. There was a welcome pack which was most welcome! The separate laundry area was great space wise and the use of a second fridge and freezer was great for stocking up and extra drinks. It was also good to have purified drinking water from a tap which saved buying endless bottles of water. The sitting area was comfortable and cosy. Outside, this villa is unbeatable. Through the mature garden you catch glimpses of the beautiful views. There is more than enough seating for 15 people to relax ,and at meal times. The pool is stunning and was enjoyed by young and old alike. There are plenty of sun beds. It’s just a short walk to a well stocked, small supermarket and some restaurants, we enjoyed El Faro twice as a family. A villa for all generations to make happy memories.

Perfect villa for a family holiday

This villa could not have suited our family of 3 generations better. Everything about it is generous from the spacious terrace and living areas, to the 7 bedrooms all with ensuites. It is situated a very short walk from a seaside village with an excellent patisserie/bakery and several good restaurants and bars. The beach is another 5 minutes walk from there. However, the large swimming pool at the villa was just as popular. Our grandchildren enjoyed the toys and playhouse and we all appreciated the comfortable beds and pillows and the supply of toiletries unusual in this kind of house let. The house is attractively furnished throughout. In the evenings we watched the sun going down beyond the sea from the lovely terrace. Highly recommended.

Wonderful time at wonderful La Calera

This was our first visit to Menorca and we selected La Calera as we needed a large villa for a party of 12, close to the airport and close to the beach. The description of both La Calera and its location surpassed our every expectation. The villa was spotless, the rooms all spacious with character and a personal touch all mixed in, the swimming pool is massive, the games room a really nice touch and the view from the upper veranda was superb. I could go on & on but suffice to say the description of the villa is exactly what it is in reality. The owner, Tom Gordon, was helpful beyond belief in terms of making specific dates available to us for a mid week check-in; in addition he provided much help in terms of baby cot, local taxi services, best local supermarkets and more. This was really important and he made great efforts to ensure we felt fully comfortable before our arrival. The location is actually brilliant - 3 mins walk to the rocky seafront for views along the coast, 8 mins walk to the local Spar supermarket (which is surprisingly very well stocked) and 4-5 local restaurants which overlook either a small cove of Cala Torret or the small harbour of Binibeca (we dined at 3 of them and the food and service was great) and 10-12 mins walk to the small beach of Binibeca which is great for kids and families alike. Water sports equipment hire and supervision, plus boat / kayak hire is also available. There is even a small train shaped vehicle that pulls carriages along the coast during mid June to early Sept which runs every 45 mins or so - nearest pickup stop is 8 mins walk. The train costs 7 euro for a round trip and links you to the slightly larger town of Cala Binibequer and back along the coast to Punta Prima where there are more shops and more restaurants .. and a small evening market. We used the train twice otherwise we walked locally to what we needed. It you stay on the train for the round trip it takes 45 mins. Taxi from Punta Prima to La Calera is around 7.50 euros ... taxi from Mahon airport to La Calera is approx 23 euros. As mentioned previously, the descriptions of what is around locally was 100% accurate from Tom. We only stayed at La Calera for 1 week and therefore did not have time to try a few other restaurants nor the water-sports on this occasion but with such a wonderful villa, wonderfully large pool and constant sunshine it was perfect. I highly recommend La Calera - it will not disappoint.

Incredible Villa, five star luxury

We stayed at la Calera as a celebration holiday for my parents Golden wedding anniversary, 16 of us in total ranging from 1 to 71! The villa is extremely beautiful with gorgeous, tasteful furnishings and each room is what you would expect if you were to stay in a 5 star hotel. The swimming pool is huge with lots of loungers surrounding it, we rarely ventured out as we had everything we needed for the whole family at the Villa. The older children loved the games room whilst the younger ones played endlessly in the little play house which gave a great shady space for them. Overall we loved everything and would love to return one day.

Truly stunning villa in a great location

This is a truly stunning villa and we loved so much about it. The villa was beautifully furnished in a comfortable yet understated elegant way. The pool was a great size for a large group and wonderful also for serious swimming. The bedrooms were all extremely comfortable and it was so lovely going away in a group of 11 (we had some singles and some doubles but absolutely everyone was happy with their rooms). The games room was also very well used and the second large fridge was fabulous. As with most things it is all in the small detail and that is what made this a really great place to holiday. Unusually this is somewhere we would come back to again. The kitchen is well stocked with enough crockery and glassware (with good size G&T glasses). The fact that the kitchen was so well equipped made it so much easier catering for a large group.There were also comfortable beds, good quality pillows, a great stereo and even a choice of sun hats! In addition Tom and Sally-Anne were extremely attentive to our needs from the moment that we booked but also throughout our stay. PS the photos don't do it justice and you really are a very short walk to all that you can possibly need.

A little bit of Minorcan heaven.

A superb villa in a quiet location facing the sea with wonderful views. A fantastic pool and gardens with lots of places to idle the day away. A short stroll to the village with a good supermarket, bakery and bars/restaurants. Also within easy driving distance of of Mao with its shops and bars and excellent restaurants plus El Castell where it is always a treat to return to Trebol and savour their excellent fish. Binibeca Vell beach is also only a short walk away and the village itself has some good restaurants especially for tapas. The villa is well equipped with everything you could possibly need and is spotless. We had a magnificent two weeks here and were reluctant to return home. Thank you Tom and Sally for allowing us to hire your little bit of heaven. Graham and Jill

A Stunning Villa

We travelled as a party of ten retired ladies. La Calera is a superb villa which exceeded our expectations. It is in a quiet residential area and set in a large well cared for garden that leads down to the peaceful coastal road. The village shop and restaurants are close by.. It is not far to walk to the beach. The villa and grounds overlook the sea....wonderful. The property is well designed and mostly on one level. All rooms are tastefully decorated and well maintained. The living area leads out to a fantastic covered terrace which is perfect for meals and drinks with family or friends. There is a large bbq with cooking tools provided. There is a very efficient air-con system throughout. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need and there is a large fridge in the games room in addition to the one in the kitchen. There is plenty of space for a large party, both in the villa and outside. Lots of little areas to sit in the shade and enjoy some solitude if you want. The pool area is gorgeous with ample loungers.. The pool itself is very large and inviting. We had cause to call on the services of Redorka, the maintenance company, when one of my friends had to be rescued from her bathroom when the door handle mechanism broke. The company provided a swift and efficient service. Tom, the owner, offers excellent customer service and answers any queries promptly. He was very helpful. La Calera is a great choice for a large family or group of friends. It has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. If you appreciate comfort and luxury, this is the villa for you. Highly recommended!

Outstanding villa

We were a party of 15 staying at la Callera . We all had the most fantastic holiday ! The villa is truly beautiful , with fabulous views of the sea . No detail has been spared , the decor , the facilities are outstanding . We loved the space that is provided , especially for such a big party . The pool is magnificent , all 15 of us played games together without feeling cramped . The games room was a real bonus , and much used . The kitchen was excellent , and we ate on the glorious terrace which was lovely and spacious . The area is peaceful , but conveniently close to amenities . The beach is truly less than a 10 minute walk . All in all it is impossible to fault La Calera . I'm in no doubt we shall return one day ! Thank you to the owners also for making all our arrangements so easy .

Comforts of home in paradise

La Calera was even better than expected from the photos and descriptions. I rented the villa for my 40th birthday and it couldn't have been more comfortable and relaxing for my guests. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable with quality linens and furnishings. The kitchen was well-appointed and a pleasure to cook in. The pool was perfection. I was amazed at the little details that are included - recommendations and services, pool toys and inflatables, food and wine in the welcome package on arrival, etc. La Calera immediately felt like home. Tom and Sally Anne were also incredibly friendly and easy to work with. I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience at La Calera.

All our expectations fulfilled ... and more

We went as a family of 14 comprising grandparents, parents and some young grandchildren. La Calera provided each and every one of us with everything that we needed for this holiday. The adults had access to this calm and beautifully appointed villa with amazing sea views in a great position and easy access to the beach and facilities of Binibeca. And the kids had access to the extensive grounds and one of the best private pools we have ever come across. If we can ever get everybody together again, we will certainly be back. Fantastic family holiday!

This was our first extended family with three families (13 of us) travelling out to Menorca. La Calera is a spacious villa situated in Binibeca. It is in close proximity to the lovely Biniebeca beach and a short drive away from Punta Prima. The villa itself is well appointed and is very comfortable with en-suite bathrooms to all bedrooms. Each room has a separate exit to the rear of the property for easy access to the gardens and pool. There's plenty of space for all and the games room kept the youngsters entertained when we stayed in. The large heated pool was enjoyed by the whole family. The owners (Tom and Sally) and the local agents couldn't have been more helpful. We had an issue with one of the toilets not flushing on the second day and it was fixed within a couple of hours. We would thoroughly recommend staying at La Calera and would not hesitate in booking this accommodation again in the future.

La Calera - a little piece of Menorcan heaven

We arrived at the villa in the hope that our expectations would match those reached from looking at the photographs and descriptions from the website and advance material sent to us by Tom and Sally-Anne (the owners). Our expectations were not matched - they were blown away. After standing on the verandah trying to take all in we finally managed to get ourselves sorted and unpacked and embarked on a fabulous three week stay in our little piece of Menorcan heaven. The facilities in the villa are superb; spacious and airy rooms, all well equipped with everything you could possibly need including the best ever wall mounted corkscrew! The view from the verandah is priceless and what a stroke of genius to obtain the plot in front to maintain it. There were thirteen of us staying and at no time did we feel overcrowded and there was always a quiet corner that could be found. The jewel in the crown is the pool. Our two grandchildren arrived having to use swimming aids and left having discarded them and both swimming like fishes. All the staff who maintain the villa were very helpful, polite and courteous and we had many an interesting early morning chat with the pool cleaner. All in all a fabulous place to stay and we all had glum faces when we had to leave. We certainly want to return.

Fantastic

The villa is extremely spacious and beautifully equipped with fabulous views of the sea and surrounding area. Plenty of space for our family to enjoy swimming in the huge tranquil pool, or chilling/chatting on the terrace with a drink, or just resting in quiet areas. Managing agents provided an excellent and very helpful service at all times and we would thoroughly recommend this property and hope to visit again.

We particularly liked the pool size and temperature, the excellent air conditioning throughout, the great views of the sea from the upper under cover patio where we could comfortably seat all twelve of our family, the proximity to the shops and restaurants within walking through the plot below the house, the well manicured gardens and the very well equipped house. We also spent much time in the games room.

Outstanding villa, well equipped, perfect location

We booked the whole villa for a week in July and were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our holiday. The villa catered for the needs of the whole party (ranging between 1yr to 70yrs) and everything about it was perfect. It was spacious, well equipped, luxurious and comfortable; and for once, the assertion that it was '5 mins from the sea' turned out to be true. As you approach the property from the road it does not give the impression of the size at all. When you walk in the front door you are faced with a spacious hall with bedrooms to the left and kitchen to the right and a very elegant sitting room. And then beyond is the covered eating area with fantastic views to the sea and an enormous pool in the garden. The view is totally uninterrupted with a short walk through the olive groves to the sea. The accommodation is spacious with 7 good sized double bedrooms all en suite. We had such a lovely relaxing week. Menorca is a beautiful island well worth exploring. Bineneca is a delightful fishing village with a well stocked local shop and great restaurants serving fantastic seafood.

Amazing!

We booked La Calera very last minute for a family get away to Menorca so had not done quite as much research as I normally like to do but really could not have asked for more. The villa itself is amazing, perfectly laid out so that it could take a large group or a small group like ours but never feel cramped or like you are rattling around. Everything from the quality of the duvets and pillows through to the décor and upkeep has obviously had a lot of thought (and taste) put into it. We always holiday in villas and have done so all around Europe and this is by far the nicest we have stayed in. Outside there is a picture postcard view from the balcony overlooking the sea and directly below is a stunning pool (where we spent most of our time with the kids!). The owners were extremely helpful from the start and during our stay and provided us with a great information pack which we pretty much followed and had some great meals in the restaurants they noted (best of all was a great and very reasonable lunch overlooking Mahon harbour in Latitude). We arrived at the villa very late and had stopped at a great little pizza van at the back of Binibeca beach thinking we would have nothing when we got there but we needn't have bothered as there was a great stock of provisions waiting for us to welcome us to the villa (including a cold beer which was very welcome). I work in the holiday lettings industry in Cornwall and fully appreciate what goes into providing and maintaining a place like La Calera and the owners here have got it absolutely spot on. We have already recommended it to a few groups of our friends and will definitely be coming back again. Its my first time back to Menorca for nearly 20 years and its great to see that it is still the beautiful, quiet, unspoilt island that it was back then (in the area of La Calera anyway!). I cant recommend La Calera enough. Many thanks Tom and Sally-Anne for a great week

A Holiday to Remember

This was intended to be a holiday of a lifetime for myself and my family. There were 15 of us, which included my four children, their partners and 7 grandchildren, so a large villa was required. Having scanned the internet for a suitable villa, we settled on La Calera. The internet details and pictures showed and described the villa exactly as it was. What it couldn't show or describe was the ambiance and feel we had for the place. By definition, when we first see something we get our first impressions. Our first impressions far exceeded our expectations, even though they were high after reading the details on the web site and seeing the pictures. It's fair to say it was absolutely fabulous. Seven bedrooms, all with their own bathroom, plus one close to the lounge for the convenience of all. Well equipped kitchen, laundry room, games room with table tennis, pool and darts all made for a superb holiday to suit everyone's taste The lounge décor was impressive with expertly chosen furniture which matched perfectly the style of the villa. Outside the well equipped patio with enough seating for all to dine and relax with sea views to yearn for. The child's play house ensured my three year old grand-daughter also had something to keep her amused. The bar-b-que, the extra-large swimming pool the garden all combined to ensure that nothing was left to chance and a happy and memorable holiday was assured.

My wife and I have 5 children (some now gown up with children of their own!) We live in England in a very old farmhouse in Dunsfold and so it it lovely to have the contrast of La Calera. We run a small residential property company in England called Fulham Property Company. We both enjoy house planning and interior design and next we would like to buy a ski chalet in Les Gets for winter holidays in the Alps.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have been coming to Menorca for the last 25 years. We have probably stayed in most of the villas in and around Binibeca and so we knew what we were looking for when we decided to buy. When we saw La Calera we instantly were drawn to its peaceful disposition, the sense of space and it's views out to sea. Whilst the villa is currently very comfortable we are planning to carry out extensive refurbishment work over this winter, including re-furnishing the property to create a really beautiful and comfortable environment for our family and guests. We think that Binibeca is the jewel in the crown of Menorca. Then whole surrounding area is a mass of glorious beaches and coves, some only accessible by sea.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The main benefit is the space and location. it's close enough to the beaches to easily walk, but far enough away to feel private and not overlooked. The property is built on a double plot so there is plenty of garden space and places to sit if you want to just be by yourself. We have also just bought the plot in front to preserve our view and we plan to create an access through from the villa so that is can serve as a second driveway. We plan to plant do a bit of landscaping and plant fruit trees there later this year.
