As described, perfect riverside cottage, very private location.
Everything you need is in the cottage, pubs on the doorstep which sell excellent food!
We will definitely return to Solva.
Absolutely gorgeous cottage- magical location!
We didânt want to leave.
Beautifully decorated clean and cosy cottage, we were greeted by complementary welshcakes and loaf!
Really hoping to stay again before too long.
For some reason though, my phone would not let me access the app to check in, so emailed the owner instead.
This is a cosy, comfortable cottage with some beautiful decorative touches, overlooking a lovely garden with a river at the bottom and a wood beyond. A truly idyllic location for my first solo holiday in a village that I love.
Quiet and private with the sound of the stream at the end of the garden. We love Solva and this cottage was perfectly situated. Beautiful art work and soft furnishings.
We stayed here in the middle of January and loved every minute. It was clean, warm. nicely decorated and equipped with just about everything we needed for our stay. Great location close to the village, so minutes from pubs/cafes and with a secure garden for the dog.
Great and timely communication from Emma who is opening her shop in Solva next week.
We love Solva and will definately be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pretty Cottage. It totally lived up to expectations; ideally situated, cosy, clean and comfortable. Exactly as described on the website!
Solva is stunningly beautiful and the coastal cliff top walks with all the wild flowers and seabirds are fantastic.
Thank you so much.
Richard, Alison,Sally and Alan.
Lovely cottage situated on the riverside. Good local pubs and walks near-by. Hosts super friendly and helpful on where to go, during our stay. Stayed over Easter so busy, street parking limited but Payable Carpark 2 min walk from cottage. Small supermarket at top of village about 30 mins walk there and back from cottage, very scenic though. Favourite pub was âHats and Barrelsâ. Visited Tenby, Dale (Griffin pub amazing seafood), St Davidâs, Blue Lagoon and White Sands.
Pretty Cottage is in a perfect location for exploring both North and South Pembrokeshire. There is very close, easy access onto the coastal path and other areas are readily accessibile by either car or bus. The cottage is at the end of 3 terraced properties and has a lovely garden with access directly to the stream that flows through the village of Solva. The village has a nice harbour area, shops, post office and 4 pubs. The cottage itself is spacious with a separate lounge, a kitchen/diner and a very useful utility room with toilet and shower; upstairs there are 2 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. It is very well appointed with every appliance one could want and tastefully decorated throughout. We had a great week there with our dog.
We had a great week with our dog. Warm and comfortable cottage with beautiful garden and river at the end. Felt really relaxed in the property- incredibly quiet with no passing traffic. Great location with 3 min walk into the pub shops and harbour. Lots of walks available. Would love to return again soon- highly recommend!
Our first visit to this part of Wales, as we usually go to Cornwall in November, and fancied a change. We had a lovely stay at Pretty Cottage, which is near to the beach with lots of walks for us and the dog. A small issue but could have had better quality kitchen utensils as we both enjoy cooking rather than dine out. Other than that an excellent stay, so much so we extended it by one day.
A lovely property in a great location. Everything you need with a lovely garden where you can have a morning coffee and listen to the river. Enclosed sufficiently to stop the dog escaping.
Morning walks over the headland and when the tide is out you can walk out along the harbour where a sandy beach awaits. Be sure to walk out to the Solva Woollen Mill. A gorgeous walk up the valley with a cafe awaiting.
Do book restaurants in Solva and surrounds as staffing is still an issue. Can recommend Grain in St Davids and The Shed in Porthgain. Great walks all around but particularly enjoyed the one from Porthgain along the cliffs.
Will visit again.
We had a lovely time here (family of 4). The cottage and garden are very peaceful yet close to Solva shops/harbour/beach. The garden is a great place to relax and unwind should you not fancy a day out on the coast. In warm weather, the cottage feels spacious with the patio doors open out to the garden. Parking although not guaranteed, is usually available opposite or up the Lane. Failing that, the Harbour car park is close by at ÂŁ5 a day or free for NT members (although they donât advertise that!).
Cottage is beautiful - just as described. Comfortable, well-equipped and located in the heart of the quiet (at this time of year, anyway) village. Right by the river, the garden is neat and sheltered, with places to catch the sun at any time of day, including right by the side of the river. The village has a range of places to eat and drink - I think we tried them all and none disappointed..
Can thoroughly recommend.
We had a really lovely stay in Pretty Cottage and certainly hope to return soon. Solva itself is great (including the pubs in walking distance!) and the coast path here is spectacular. Great holiday had by both of us.
Great little place to stay, with nice cosy snug and warm feel. Great place to sip a wine during the winter in front of the fire, or share a home prepared meal together.
Nice bbq area down by riverside for the warm summer evenings and bonus stumbling distance to the local pub / restaurant 2 minutes out the door.
Perfect position. Lovely interior design and very comfortable. Garden with lots of places to sit - very nice by the river, even a covered area.
Many thanks.

This Property is a classic 'Pembrokeshire' in the timeless harbour village of Solva. People who stay here often say they've had the best nights sleep in years. I suppose the combination of coastal air, peace and quiet, countryside walks and cosy pubs helps!
