SituĂ© dans 16 hectares de magnifique campagne du Devon, The Barn propose un appartement spacieux et magnifiquement meublĂ© de 4 chambres, 4 salles de bains et Au rez-de-chaussĂ©e se trouve la piscine, les vestiaires et une salle de jeux Ă  l'usage exclusif des clients sĂ©journant dans la grange. La quatriĂšme chambre et la salle de bain sont Ă©galement situĂ©es au rez-de-chaussĂ©e avec accĂšs par le bas de l'escalier. Au premier Ă©tage se trouve un salon / cuisine / salle Ă  manger dĂ©cloisonnĂ© extrĂȘmement spacieux et 3 autres chambres. La grange possĂšde Ă©galement un grand jardin privĂ© avec un Ă©tang trĂšs profond et un jardin de tourbiĂšres, ce qui la rend inadaptĂ©e aux enfants de moins de 10 ans. Il y a une vue imprenable sur les terres agricoles locales et la lande au-delĂ . Par temps clair, la mer de Torbay scintille au loin.

Nothing was too much trouble for Roger and Sue. When one of our party’s car got stuck on a tree root on one of the lanes, they jumped in their Land Rover and came to the rescue. The accommodation was amazing with absolutely everything you could think of on hand. The pool and the games room were used constantly throughout the weekend and even my 90 year old parents had a go at playing table tennis ! We had lovely dog walks in the surrounding countryside and an amazing Sunday roast dinner at the local pub, the Cleave in Lustleigh. Our weekend was perfect and the only problem was leaving it to come home 
 no one wanted to leave. Thankyou Roger and Sue. We hope to come back very soon

The facilities superb, swimming pool temperature perfect and the host, never intrusive, but always available and very genuine and lovely. The walk to the village is a task, but from 2-70 we did it and loved it. The Cleave Inn and The Dairy superb...Feeding the fish, watching the swifts, yet not one single mozzie?? unbelievable!!.A week isnt long enough

We were so excited to stay here and everything exceeded our expectations. It was a truly wonderful place to spend our Easter weekend. The weather was typically British but that didn’t hamper things as there’s so much fun to be had at the house. Owners were lovely. We hope to return one day.

A wonderful stay

We had three generations of a family staying and had an absolutely fantastic time. The property is every bit as good as you would imagine from the pictures and description; actually it’s better as so much care and thought has been put into the small details. Wonderful hosts. We’ll be back!

Excellent property and great value for money. Sue and Roger we’re excellent hosts, the biggest thing was the pool, my 6 year old grandson said “best big house ever “ he said it all, doesn’t disappoint at all

Amazing stay!

Beautiful, immaculately clean and spacious property. Stunning location and views. The pool was excellent! The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly (especially Barker). We had such a good weekend and would highly recommend this property for a family getaway.

What a place to stay!!

The barn is even better than the pictures! What a place to stay. We had a group of 11 of us 6 adults and 5 kids. The pool is an amazing size and so nice to view from upstairs. The children spent most of their time in there.We made the most of staying in the barn and took advantage of all of what it had to offer. We had two food shops delivered and ventured out for walks and a horse ride over dartmoor.At home our lives are so busy, so it was nice to have time to chill out and enjoy time with the children. We made full use of the games room and pool. They also have a cupboard full of board games which was amazing. The grounds and countryside scenary is absolutely beautiful.Everything is well thought of even down to having enough untensils, and cutlery. Being provided with both bathroom and swimming towels. Sue and Rodger were amazing hosts, friendly, helpful and just generally lovely people.We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this beautiful place to stay.

Fantastic property

Fantastic property, perfect for my birthday celebration with all the family. The property is so well appointed with great living area, garden and the icing on the cake is the wonderful pool and games room. The area is beautiful with lovely walks right on your door step. Lovely villages near by and the Cleave pub does a delicious roast. Such a find we will be back. Our hosts were so lovely and even left a birthday card for me. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Another magical stay

This was our second stay at the Barn at Lower Harton Farm. We had such a wonderful time last year and my children had been counting down the days (literally) until our return. We cannot say enough good things about it the property, the area, and our hosts Sue and Roger. Anything we needed, they were able to provide (to our door!) within minutes. We spend out days swimming in the pool, hiking across the beautiful moors, climbing Tors, and exploring the river valley. The only problem is that the week goes too quickly!

Perfect Dartmoor escape

We had a brilliant week at the Barn in October 2023, travelling as a multi-generational family including my children (4 and 6 years old) and my parents (in their 70s) - and our golden retriever who was welcomed most kindly. The property is a real gem - fabulous location to visit Lustleigh and other nearby villages, walk the moors, and just relax and enjoy the stunning views out of every window. The property has been very thoughtfully and intelligently designed by Roger and Sue, with comfortable furniture to relax, a games room to enjoy, and of course the enormous pool. The gardens and pond outside are beautiful. There was plenty of room for our group of 6 plus the pup. It's hard to say enough about what a fabulous week we had. Roger and Sue are nearby with any advice or help you may need, and when our arrival was delayed they even accepted our grocery delivery - and if that wasn't enough, they unpacked it and put away the perishable items as well! It was a week we will not soon forget and we are grateful to our hosts for welcoming us into this beautiful slice of Devon.

Amazing property and the best weekend

Me and my family stayed here for the weekend and we had the best time ever. The property was fantastic and really clean. Very high standards. Sue and Roger were absolute diamonds. They really went above and beyond with everything. They made sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The property has a huge swimming pool, exclusive to the property. It has a games room with a pool table and a table tennis table. It has plenty of shower rooms and toilets. Amazing location. Perfect for big families to relax and enjoy Dartmoor Devon. Thank you so much we really enjoyed ourselves. All the best.

Great get together house

We had a wonderful time, the pool is the icing on the cake, the grandchildren spent most of their stay in there, didn’t want to leave, the games room is great too. Roger & sue were great hosts, checked everything was ok with us, then gave us privacy to enjoy ourselves, we had a bbq & cooked in all weekend, everything was there that we needed, didn’t venture far, as wasn’t great weather, thankfully cleared when we left, as the lanes are very narrow, All the bedrooms & bathrooms & bathrooms were great, the bonus of changing rooms by the pool meant we didn’t have to walk through house wet & we left costumes there to use next time, would definitely love to return, I know the grandchildren definitely would 😄

Beautiful property

We had a lovely relaxing week in this beautiful barn. Thee were 10 of us altogether and there was loads of space. We used the pool at least twice a day. Roger and Sue were the perfect hosts, checking in and helping out when needed. I would thoroughly recommend this as the perfect holiday retreat set in beautiful countryside.

Countryside luxury

The Barn is an amazing and unique retreat and we enjoyed relaxing in the peacefulness of the countryside as well as an amazing pool and games room. The local pub was also homely and did great food, and Sue and Roger were incredibly welcoming and helpful hosts.

Spacious and comfortable living.

Excellent, good communication from hosts. No problems during stay. Wonderful views across the countryside and the Moor from every window. Reassuring to know the owners are just next door if we needed anything. Very clean house and well stocked kitchen.

Lustleigh barn

What a fantastic week with all the family. Bedrooms and bathrooms were top quality and so comfortable. The star of the week was the large swimming pool and games room loved by us all . Thank you to Sue and Roger perfect hosts were so helpful and our dog Dexter loved playing with their dog Barker. We were all so relaxed in peaceful surroundings would definitely love to go back .

Family wonderland

We planned this family holiday after covid had prevented us being together for such a long time and we wanted something special. We hit the jackpot. The venue is of the utmost quality and perfect for families to relax, play and laugh together. The fun was not dented when, for 48 hours, we had no electric or water thanks to Storm Franklin. Step up Sue and Roger; they ensured we were safe and able to continue our holiday providing us with everything we needed to carry on with our stay. They are the perfect hosts, keen to support their guests so you get the best from your holiday. Our family had so much fun, we created so many memories and stories that will last a lifetime.
