Plush curved sofas invite you to sink in and unwind after a day of exploration. The adjacent dining area also features elegantly curved seating, providing a delightful space at mealtimes. Large bi-fold doors flood the space with natural light, creating a warm and inviting ambience, looking out onto the lawns; and a pleasant seating area protected by a pergola for shade on a hot day or to keep showers at bay. There’s also a snug room (or 5th bedroom), which includes a double sofa bed, large smart TV, electric fire, and comfy chairs. Located on the main South West train line, Teignmouth is an easy journey from London, along the most spectacular coastal train route in the country. Dartmoor National Park, Exeter and Torquay are just a few miles from Teignmouth, making it an ideal central location to explore the rest of South Devon.Things to do in TeignmouthTeignmouth is the ideal family holiday destination – with a Victorian Pier, lido, play park, crazy golf and skate park all within easy reach of the beaches and town centre to keep the kids entertained.Teignmouth beaches are great for family days out, Teignmouth Town beach is a long expanse of sand with the pier, arcades and promenade. Local watersports are also on offer if you want to try kayaking, coasteering or paddle boarding. Shaldon is built on reclaimed land from silt, and there is a retaining wall that prevents the sea from returning to the beaches. Gradually the inhabitants turned to fishing, although the village still has a very rural feel.Getting AroundGreenacre is perfectly connected for you to explore by car. Situated just off the A381, there are easy connections to the fast routes to Exeter, Torbay, and beyond. You’re also just minutes away from the traditional port of Teignmouth.There are bus stops just a few seconds walk from the driveway with routes to Teignmouth and Shaldon (5 minutes), Dawlish, Starcross, Powderham and Exeter (45 minutes). Other routes also include Torquay (20 minutes), Paignton, Brixham, and Newton Abbott. The train station in Teignmouth is 8-minute drive (or 16 minutes by direct bus).
