This was a great find-spotlessly clean, warm, lovely shower, fabulously comfortable bed with lovely duvet/pillows/bedding. Lovely woodland walk just outside, ideal for the dog
A lovely clean property with everything you could need for a break away. The site was peaceful, the setting beautiful and made the perfect base for exploring west Cornwall.
Beautiful location and bungalow very well equipped, spotlessly clean couldn't fault it, weather was kind to us, and our dog loved it too, we will be back.
Location beautiful, cleanliness absolutely spot on. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the bungalow its in an amazing location within the holiday village.
Thank you
Clean tidy well equipped everything you need regular bus to site great mace shop on site bar/terrace entertainment inside not dog friendly but outside areas fine would definitely stay again
It was such a lovely place to stay , quiet and relaxing, easy to get to, close to everything you will need, get a tap on the door in the morning, just a squirrel, beautiful, it was so clean and tidy, very comfortable, 10 out of ten across the board on everything, will 100% recommend staying there , we will be definitely be re booking, didn't want to leave, wish we stayed longer , amazing *
A lovely well equipped modern property to stay in. Tastefully decorated throughout. A vast array of cooking and serving utensils. Washer/dryer too!!! Loads of wildlife visited daily. An unexpectedly quiet bungalow to stay in as its located on a holiday park. This has been our third visit and we will be returning đ
We have just got back from a week's stay at leafy hollow and had an amazing time, the bungalow was modern and well equipped and for the price was outstanding, very clean and well looked after, everything you needed for your holiday stay was provided for. The hosts Sam and Jon kept us up to date with everything we needed to know. The bungalow is located at st Ives holiday village but you would have thought you where in the middle of nowhere, it was so quiet and peaceful ( just what we wanted ) but only a short bus or car journey into st Ives if you wanted a more scenic route you could get the train from st erth which is only 5 minutes away by car. Would highly recommend the beautifully presented bungalow.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with relaxed atmosphere which was helped by good weather.
We found the slope to the chalet challenging as we are both in our late seventies and my wife has mobility problems, but we coped.
We were unaware that Wi-Fi was not available.
The lodge was exceptionally clean, maintained and well equipped. Heating was very good so great for a year round holiday. Great location and very convenient having a bus stop on site - great when walking the South West Coastal Path as you can hop on and off for all of the southern route. Great site but wouldn't recommend eating in the restaurant - overpriced, poor quality and a long waiting time.
The bungalow was perfectly fitted out with everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Smart fitted kitchen, excellent shower in bathroom and a lovely comfortable double bed in bedroom and all tastefully decorated. Our hostâs Sam and John were very informative and helpful and we look forward to staying in Leafy Hollow again. Would highly recommend for any couples looking for a relaxing stay in comfortable surroundings .!!
Excellent bungalow for a couple with all that you may need.
I would only add a percolator or coffee machine.
The location is excellent to visit the villages around and Mount St Michael among other things.
You have to use the car to go everywhere as the path from the park is very short and takes you nowhere.
We are a couple who have lived and worked in Somerset for many years and as we spent so much time in Cornwall at the end of 2022 we made the move to relocate to Cornwall. I was born in Cornwall and have family nearby in Hayle and the surrounding villages and Jon is a water sports enthusiast so spends as much time as work permits kitesurfing at Gwithian, Sandy Acres and Marazion
We bought Leafy Hollow in 2006 as it's an ideal base for us, especially as we like to bring our dog on holiday with us. The holiday village has lovely woodland walks and many of the nearby beaches are dog friendly all year around.
When we purchased the bungalow in 2006 it was a 2 bedroom standard layout with a very small bathroom which didn't work for us. Jon worked hard to improve the internal layout to a larger 1 bedroom with larger bathroom which gives a more comfortable living space for a couple. We have equipped the bungalow to a very high standard to make your stay a 'home from home' experience.
