This grade 2 listed traditional miners cottage is situated in the tin-mining quarter known as Upalong in St. Ives. It has been fully refurbished to modern standards whilst retaining its historical past. The sleeping arrangements are flexible and suitable for couples and families, using a king size bed and a single adult size bed in the single bedroom and a double sofa-bed situated in the living room downstairs.
The location of the cottage within the town is close to all beaches, shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants and all within a few minutes stroll. You are close enough to pop out to any amenity. Parking is not available at the cottage but we are five minutes from a long-stay car park.
The cottage comes equipped for all guests. There are books and films for those nights in for the children, beach games and body boards for the days out. We also cater with those all important baby items to help with the travel space including an available travel cot, baby bath, high chair and safety gate.
Well-behaved dog allowed at ÂŁ25 per week extra. Please include with your booking.
All bedding and towels are supplied to help with your packing space.
Beautiful little cottage in a brilliant location! Mark was a fab host and came straight away with any questions we had. Everything is at your finger tips at this little gem of a place. I cant wait to return!
A nice cosy cottage, although kitchen was a bit small, it had all the amenities, a few basics like sugar, teabags, pepper, were missing, but overall we had a nice relaxing stay.
The best of the stay for us was how thoughtfully things were made available to cater to the needs of the guest. From the Welcome book which had instructions and takeout menus to the safety pins in the drawers to the utensils in the kitchen. The location as well made our stay so much better, there is Co-op a couple meters away and short walk to the seafront.
This was our second stay at the cottage, we had a great time! The location is excellent for central St Ives with the beaches and shops in close proximity. Would love to stay again in the future.
Lovely cottage, ideal location with bars, restaurants etc just a short walk away. Very comfortable bed, everything you need for a cosy getaway in St Ives.
We couldn't have wished for somewhere so convenient to stay, just a few minutes walk to the beginning of many streets full of shops and the harbour, beaches etc.
Really lovely traditional fishermans cottage. Clean, cosy and very comfortable with everything we needed.
Close to both beaches. Would happily go back again.
Lovely cottage, great location, could even see the sea from the bedroom window. Everything we needed was there, nice and warm in the evening. Perfect cosy cottage for a couple. Beaches, shops, pubs all on the doorstep. Would stay here again.
Brilliant location, 30 seconds from the front door of the cottage and your in the heart of the town, used the parking at the leisure Centre for 7 day stay, cost ÂŁ26 plus, you have to pre book, with the car park/ cornwall. You have everything you need in the cottagecouncil
Cottage is small (as are most in St Ives!) but has everything you need and in a great location. Can get a little noisy from passing people and cars but again this is pretty normal when in St Ives. Would happily stay here again in the future, and it was spotless throughout.
Lovely cottage. Great location, nice easy walk to the town & beach.
Well equipped cottage. Ideal for a couple and child. Handy having the garage to park in although you wouldnât get anything bigger than a hatchback in as very small. Would definitely come back again.
Cosy cottage exactly as described. Great location in the centre of the town, beach, harbour and restaurants all within easy reach.
No parking, but Park Avenue car park less than 5 mins up the hill ÂŁ25 for the week.
Clean cottage ideal for couple. Individual design. Handy for St Ives harbour.
One suggestion for pre travel information to book weekly long stay parking permit through Cornwall council website ahead of travel.
Enjoyed the break as it was the Arts fortnight with lots to see and listen to.
A couple of review - your oven takes so long to heat up we gave up and ate out - I think perhaps an upgrade.
Perhaps the bed linen needs an upgrade too - some of it is rather old .
Overall it was good.

The cottage was in the ideal location only a 5 minute walk from St Ives harbour and 5 minute walk to the beach.
Really enjoyed our stay, only down side was parking but it wasn't a big issue.
Whoever stays at this cottage pull up outside and drop your stuff off and drive down to the st Ives train station car park as it's only 25 pound for a week, don't park at the laundrette carpark they charge 112.50 a week and we saw on reviews they give you a parking tickets even when you have paid
Had a great time here. Good location just 2 minutes walk to harbour. Property was very clean and well equipped. A perfect base and would recommend to anyone. No complaints at all.
There is no parking at the property but we got a weeks parking for ÂŁ26 in the park avenue car park with the parking app. Its then down the steps across the road.
A recommendation for the owners would be to add a bolt to the front door which connects the 2 halves of the stable style door. A very small thing but found it to be a bit irritating when coming and going and always had to lock the top half with the key when in as no latch for handle????
