Really lovely traditional fishing cottage in old part of St Ives, very close to harbour, several beaches. Cottage is quaint, but had everything we needed. Comfortable and attractive and most enjoyable.
We all really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well after our days exploring St Ives. The cottage has everything you possibly need and the location perfect.
We found this type of cottage quite small. 3 and 4 flights of stairs for quite small bedrooms. Would be very difficult for a family with infant or anyone with leg or back injuries. Washing machine needs to be replaced, after reading the instructions it wasnât wort the risk of using it. Everything thing was ok but it wasnât the type of accommodation we would look for again. The host was excellent to communicate with and location is excellent, close to the centre.
Lovely quaint cottage in a perfect location for the beach, shops and restaurants. Our first visit to St Ives but it wont be our last, it really is stunning
This property is great near to all amenities...
You have a great cleaner of your property, every thing was lovely..
I will be booking again next year if possible..
Thanks A. LM Brecknock and Family
We had a great holiday in your cottage, everything we needed was at hand. We especially liked that it was in a quieter part of
St Ives but incredibly near to a nice beach. We also liked that fact that it's near to great restaurants and shops.
Very well appointed comfortable cottage, well positioned for town centre & a long stay carpark
We had a great time in St Ives and the convenient position of the cottage allowed us to come and go as we pleased with no need to use the car . Cottage well equipped and everything we needed was available . Kitchen, bathroom and ensuite newly fitted out . Overall an ideal holiday base .
The property was quiet , clean, homely yet modern , very well equipped kitchen, extremely handy location within short wa short walking distance to the beaches pubs restaurants and shops. Excellent hosts and a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. Four floors were fine for us but if you struggle with stairs might be difficult.we will definitely be booking this gorgeous fisherman's cottage again!
andshops..Exxellent
We stayed there (3 adults) for 3 nights and had such lovely time. The house instantly makes you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. It is decorated with so much thought given and love, I really enjoyed it.
Also the welcome pack was such a lovely addition. Best of all is the very central location to the harbour and the main shopping areas, as well as the Tate Gallery. It literally is the perfect location in St. Ives. We had such a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
We had the most fantastic time in St Ives. We stayed in Andy & Emmaâs lovely house for 10 nights in August with our two boys and it was just perfect. The house is very comfortable and the decoration has been very well thought out. The beds were very comfy and it was great to have two shower rooms. The location was fab for the beaches & the town. A big thank you to Karen the housekeeper who was very helpful during our stay. We will definitely be back next year. đ„°
We've stayed in the 'downalong' for the last 17 years and 4 St Eia is certainly one of our favourite cottages. It's beautifully appointed and decorated inside and very comfortable and cosy. Like most typical downalong cottages it is compact, but the living areas feel spacious and airy, and the owners are honest and explain in their details that there are 4 flights of stairs, so you know what to expect; it's great exercise, but just don't forget to bring down everything you need from pretty master bedroom in the eaves! The owners are extremely helpful, communication is easy and there is a local housekeeper at hand if you have any problems. Thanks Emma and Andy for a fantastic holiday.
Hi we are a family who have holidayed in St Ives for over 20 years and are now very excited to own our first home here. St Ives is our second home and we look forward to welcoming many guests to share our home with us. We make as many trips as we can each year driving all the way from Essex! Now our children are older we spend many a day on Porthmeor Beach Body Boarding as a family come rain or shine! Porthgwidden Beach is another favourite of ours, both of which are a stones throw from 4 St Eia. Location was key for us! We know St Ives very well, have made many friends and contacts over the years and are happy to try and answer any questions you may have. We hope you enjoy St Ives as much as we do, it really is unique!
This cottage is perfect for a beach holiday, there are three beautiful beaches that are within 5mins walk of the house, Porthmeor which is a great surfing beach, Porthgwidden which is perfect for families and the Harbour beach which enjoys the views of the town. The location is ideal for families as it is all on the flat, no big hills to climb whilst carrying surfboards! You can even glimpse the sea from the master bedroom!
This cottage really is in a fantastic location it is handy for everything. We are within a five minute walk to the Tate Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth museum. There is the local Norway Stores which is handy for day to day groceries and the odd bottle of wine which is again less than a five minute walk. Again it is a five minute walk to the pier which is perfect for late afternoon crabbing. There are a number of excellent restaurants within the town and you can be down on Fore Street within 5minutes walking at a very leisurely pace! It is possible to do a Tesco home delivery for when you arrive which is something that lots of people do.
