Ceci est une grande maison de plain-pied de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain située à Seacliff à une courte promenade de loisirs de la plage, des restaurants et des magasins de Seacliff State. Profitez d'un dîner décontracté au Manuel's Restuarant, prenez une bouchée rapide à manger à Pizza One ou prenez un dessert à la célèbre Marianne's Ice Cream. Emplacement pratique et encore une fois idéal pour une escapade en famille. La plage de Seacliff State est connue pour sa longue étendue de sable, profitez de la pêche au large du cimentier et n'oubliez pas de vous arrêter au musée.

Just what we wanted

We were in town for a family wedding, and the property served our needs nicely. We particularly appreciated the proximity to the beach and a small community of restaurants, bars and Marianne's ice cream within an easy walking distance.

Great location but a few issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice to be close to beach and services in Aptos. Courtyard nicely laid out. Unfortunately the property needed some serious airing. There was very musty smell. We couldn’t get the air conditioning to work. Decoration was minimal. We were disappointed.

Good location

The home is in a nice location with easy access to most things. The furnishings were nice and the beds comfortable. The home itself could have been better cleaned. Additionally, there was no bar soap, shampoo or coffee. Upon rereading the listing, I realized they were not listed in the amenities, so that’s on me. I’ve just never stayed where these (at least soap & shampoo) wasn’t provided. One last mention is if you are getting to the house by gps be sure to note if it is street or road. We ended up in the hills.

The property was in a good neighborhood, not too far from the beach. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was neat. The major issue was that the property may have had mold issues. It was apparently closed up for some period of time as it had a "musty smell". It certainly did not smell fresh and significantly bothered 2 of our group who had allergies. Also there were only mirrors in the bathrooms which upset one of our group. We could not get the air conditioning to work and were not sure if it had air conditioning. We would NOT rent again.

The kitchen and family room were newly renovated, however the bedrooms and bathrooms could use a little upgrade. The one odd thing that we didn’t realize before booking was that there were shelves all over the house for cats.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Last month we visited Aptos, Calif. We stayed at 208 Valencia. We have stayed at this property a number of years. The kitchen was remodeled and we enjoyed the openness of the kitchen, dining, and living area. We look forward to seeing what other changes will be made to the remaining rooms. The house was clean, extra towels and blankets were provided. We often enjoyed our morning coffee in the front patio with the beautiful bougainvillea. Seacilff Beach, Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant, Castello’s Caffe and Deli, and Marianne’s Ice Cream are all with in walking distance. The staff at Bailey Property Management were kind, helpful, professional. They are a pleasure to work with.

Family Time in Seacliff!

The front courtyard makes a great spot to sit and enjoy the sun. It's an easy walk to the beach (lots of stairs) and yummy ice cream, among other delights in the little village of Seacliff.

Girlfriends Retreat

We wanted a single story home with no stairs and would be easy for one of our friends to to get around with her walker We were not disappointed in the description of the home. We found it very clean, modern spacious kitchen and open living area. The 3 bedrooms are very accommodating and it has 2 full bathrooms. The exterior of the property is well kept and landscaped beautifully. There is a nice driveway that will accommodate 2 cars nicely.

3 bedroom 2 bath house on Valencia Avenue

Certain things in the house could use some sprucing up especially the kitchen. Overall it's a nice house and works for our needs.

Canadians Visit

I recommend this house for several reason not least of all is its proximity to the ocean and blocks away from a great ice cream store. The house is solarpowered so that was novel. Everything ( TV , Internet, barbecue, cable) worked great with the exception the fridge which did not. Bailey properties showed little alacrity and as a result we ended up not having a functioning fridge for the duration of your visit. Beds were comfortable, though I would travel with a pillow next time as the ones provided were lacking. Two bathrooms which was nice. The showerheads could stand to be replaced but perhaps I am being overly picky. I would return most assuredly. Decent kitchen and not too bad on the cookware and ancillaries.

Nice house, good location

Great location, only 2 blocks from the ocean and Seacliff beach. House was clean and fine. Only comment is that my friends and I used all 3 bedrooms and the beds outside the master bedroom could be improved (one had the mattress essentially on the floor, not the most comfortable).

Really perfect location

I can’t say enough about this lovely home. First and foremost the location was perfection. Walk to Aptos State Beach, New Leaf Grocery, delicious sushi restaurant, superb French restaurant and more. The home was a model in energy conservation, just book it and you’ll see.

Beautiful Beach Home

I stayed at the house in Aptos with my two adult children. The location was great and the house and yard were really lovely and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed having meals in the front patio garden.

Great Jumping Off Point

Thisproperty is a great jumping off point for all that Santa Cruz has to offer. Located on a quiet street with great neighbors and the house was just as it was advertised.

Great Location

This home is located in a neighborhood that is within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream parlor. and the entrance to Sunset Beach. The home is clean and the kitchen is well appointed. We are hoping the return next summer and extend our stay!
