La maison de bateau est une maison avec une sensation de galerie, l'espace a de hauts plafonds et un mur de fenêtres donnant sur le chantier naval de Boothbay, le port et les îles au-delà. Il existe de nombreuses peintures à l'huile et antiquités originales mélangées à un mobilier moderne et audacieux, qui confère une impression de bohème / industrielle. Actuellement, il y a un espace de vente au premier étage, les résidents occupant les spacieux deuxième et troisième étages du bâtiment. La terrasse de trois étages offre des espaces de restauration en plein air, un gril à gaz et une confortable et haute perche pour profiter de la vue unique sur les maisons, les bâtiments commerciaux et le port.

Située près du bout de Commercial Street, dans le centre-ville de Boothbay Harbor, dans le Maine, cette maison unique se trouve à proximité du centre des activités du port. Situé en face d'un chantier naval historique et à deux pas de l'océan, le Boat House est un lieu de retraite idéal pour les familles avec enfants, les animaux de compagnie ou les deux.

Avec trois chambres à coucher, il y a beaucoup d'espace pour profiter de vos vacances dans le Maine; deux chambres ont des lits queen, et la troisième chambre a un lit superposé double. La maison de bateau a deux salles de bains complètes, avec des combinaisons de baignoire / douche, une à chaque étage.

La maison de bateau a besoin d’escaliers, car elle comprend les deuxième et troisième étages d’un immeuble de trois étages. Avec une cuisine complète, une salle à manger, une laverie et des draps de qualité supérieure, cette destination de vacances bien aménagée vous donnera l'impression d'être chez vous loin de chez vous.

Les clients du Boat House sont les bienvenus au service de conciergerie du Topside Inn pour vous aider à réserver des restaurants et pour vous aider à planifier des vacances parfaites à Boothbay Harbor. Malheureusement, nous ne pouvons pas accueillir les invités des trois maisons de vacances pour le petit-déjeuner à l'auberge. The "Boat House" was an amazing place to stay right downtown Boothbay Harbor. Everything was a 5 minute walk away. The home is beautifully decorated, and nothing can beat the view right from the living room, as well as outside deck. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Mark was a wonderful host, always responsive, giving great referrals for restaurants.

Overall we had a nice stay - comfortable house. The house seemed worn and not well-maintained.Furniture and gutters outside dirty with stains. Unable to open windows in the bedrooms. Red carpet - with some white stain.Pots and dishes were sticky - needed to be re-washed prior to using. I was disappointed at this price point and VRBO's description of the owners as the preferred host.

Boothbay Vacation

We were looking for a great place to stay near Downtown Boothbay and this place did not disappoint. We enjoyed the views, shops and plenty of places to eat!! Mark was great to work with and communication was great. Would rent from them again.

Amazing location and a unique and comfortable home

My wife, dog and I had a great stay at Mark's Boathouse. The location is amazing as it overlooks the shipyard and harbor. The house is comfortable, clean and well appointed. It is also walking distance to anything you need, but outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Mark was great to work with and in touch and available without being intrusive. We would highly recommend the Boathouse and we will certainly be visiting Mark's other properties.

beautiful boothbay stay!

We recently had friends stay at Mark and Buzz's property in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, for a long weekend, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The property exudes class and elegance in every corner, making for an incredibly comfortable and luxurious stay. The proximity to town was unbeatable, allowing our friends to easily explore all that Boothbay Harbor has to offer. They couldn't stop raving about the beautifully appointed rooms, stunning views, and top-notch amenities. This property truly made their weekend getaway an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

Mark was an exceptional host. Everything was perfect for us. The home is in a great location, close to all the shops and restaurants. We walked nearly everywhere with a few exceptions outside of town. The cleaning was outstanding! The deck looks out onto a shipyard by the water where a boat from the 1800s was being restored. The view of the harbor is just beautiful. We LOVED our stay here. No wonder it was a resounding 5.0 star review. We give it the same rating. If you like staying in all the action of a small town this place is for you. Thanks Mark (and Buzz) for your help and your perfect hospitality.

Fabulous Boothbay Harbor Trip

We spent Thanksgiving at The Boathouse property and it was really perfect. The hosts were exceptionally thoughtful with all the little details that really enriched our stay—they provided everything you could need. The space was bright, beautiful and so comfortable. We would love to stay here again! Well done & highly recommended!

Terrific house, Terrific location

Wonderful house for our family of 5 adults and a miniature poodle. Previous reviews mention how clean, well appointed, and fun this house is to stay. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs TV/family room, and large dining table. In addition, we were able to easily park our 22 ft camper van and a mid size suv in the driveway next to the house. We are coming back next year. Terrific house and location!

Excellent location and accommodations

The property is located very conveniently within walking distance of Boothbay Harbor. It offer big windows and a great up deck to view the water. The large dinning table is great for family to sit and talk or enjoy meals together. The beds are comfortable and clean. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful Location

Beautifully appointed home with comfortable and upgraded furnishings. We were visiting Boothbay for a family wedding and loved the convenience of this home to all the downtown shops and restaurants. We did have our 3 year old, 11 month old and older grandparents staying at the home with us and the spiral staircase inside is a bit difficult with young children and elders with bad knees. There are exterior stairs to access both floors so that is helpful. Just wanted to note as we were not aware the only interior staircase was a spiral one. Other than that our stay was fantastic and would recommend to other family and friends visiting the area!

The Boathouse was the Best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Boothbay! This house was so clean…especially the bathrooms and showers! The towels and bed linens were bright white, soft, and fresh. The beds were extremely comfortable! And the location was just perfect! Quick walk to the shops and restaurants! We loved every bit of our vacation! Can’t wait to come back!

Don't tell anybody!

Thank you Mark for making our Christmas special. The location of this house couldn't be more perfect. A short walk to the Gardens Aglow shuttle and our favorite restaurant Ports of Italy. Although December isn't known for deck sitting the new deck is beautiful! We spent time in front of the fire enjoying the view and our time together. Looking forward to next year!

The boathouse is a great property. Mark and Buzz at the Topside were great support and offered many wonderful options regarding things to do and where to eat. The property has nice views, is an easy walk to town, and well appointed. We’ll be back!

We are Mark & Buzz, we have lived in Boothbay Harbor since 2003 and own the Topside Inn and Mid-Town Motel. We have four rental homes in the area as part of the Boothbay Vacation Home portfolio; “Dock View” and ‘The Boathouse” are in the downtown area, “Water’s Edge Cottage” is on Linekin Bay and “The Lake House” is located on West Harbor Pond. We are very fortunate to be able to live and work is such an incredibly beautiful area and we are here to answer any questions and help our guests plan a fun and relaxing vacation in mid-coast Maine. Do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This is a wonderful property, with a great vibe. Built in the 1970's the home is retro and modern and the same time. The first floor has a full kitchen that opens to a large dining room with a long wooden table that comfortable fits 8 to 10 guests. There is a small sitting area for the adults to relax and play cards. There are windows on three sides with views over the street and shipyard. There is a full bathroom and laundry on this level.
Up a wooden spiral staircase is a large living room with soaring vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows looking out over the tops of the shipyard buildings to the harbor and island beyond. The three bedroom and full bathroom are also on the level.
The three-story deck has comfortable furniture, dining table and chairs and a gas grill. The gallery space on the first floor is currently not occupied.

We have all stayed in 'rental properties' that feel like rental properties; minimal kitchen equipment, 1 pot, 1 pan, 8 plates, 8 knives, forks and spoons, sparsely furnished rooms and bathrooms, and art from HomeGoods (I do like HomeGoods). This is not what you will find at our properties. We have lived in three of the four homes and have outfitted and furnished these homes completely. You will feel like you are staying at a friend’s home who happens to be away. The art work is real, the furniture is high quality and we use the same high-end linens we use at our five-star hotel. We have had guests cook Thanksgiving dinner at our homes and we very happy to find everything they needed. And, if something is missing, we are there to take care of it for you.
