Portside est un condo de luxe au charme d'un cottage situé au rez-de-chaussée du Back Bay Cottage, construit en 2006 et comprenant 3 logements. Nous sommes à côté de la Chowder House et de la location de kayaks et de vélos et à seulement un pâté de maisons de la passerelle. Le chalet est au coeur du port et pourtant vous trouverez la tranquillité et la vie privée à l'intérieur. Plus de trente cafés et restaurants et de nombreux magasins sont facilement accessibles à pied, y compris de nombreux endroits ouverts toute l'année.

Portside partage un quai et flotte avec les deux autres unités Back Bay Cottage et dispose de son propre pont au bord de l’eau. Les commodités incluent une cuisine et des appareils dernier cri, une cheminée à gaz, un barbecue à gaz, des télévisions à écran plat, une grande collection de vidéos, un refroidisseur de vin, une chaîne stéréo pour iPod, une connexion Wi-Fi et un parking réservé gratuit. Loved our stay

We loved our stay at Back Bay Cottage - Portside! The location is awesome; its very walkable but it also feels tucked away. We loved sitting on the dock, getting ice cream at the Downeast Ice Cream Factory, and comparing Lobster rolls sold around town. The kids enjoyed Barrett's Park, Ocean Point Beach, and Hendrick's Head Beach and we appreciated that there were beach towels, toys, and camp chairs available for our use. We also enjoyed hanging around Cottage. It is easy to relax there, the kitchen is well supplied, and the views are great. We hope to be back!

What a spectacular experience! From communicating with Abby, who was kind, detailed, and responsive, to the actual accommodations, which were some of the nicest, most thoughtfully planned that we've ever stayed in, every part of this visit was outstanding! We can't wait to visit again and again!!

Couples Get Away

The condo and location were everything we were looking for in a relaxing vacation. It was like staying at a good friend's house - so comfortable, with great furniture, wonderful decorations and well stocked with anything you might need. The condo had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed being on the water and loved that town was only a few steps away. We felt like locals! Abby included a lot of information about activities which made it easy to plan day trips and explore the area. She thought of everything. Highly recommend.

The house is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Everything was clean. The house is extremely well-appointed. Abby was communicative and her instructions were clear. The area is lovely.

Abby’s Perfect Condo

We had a wonderful time at Abby’s Boothbay Harbor waterfront condo. The view of the harbor was spectacular from the front windows and the deck was wonderful to sit out with some wine and cheese. The location was fantastic as we could walk out the door and the town with all its restaurants and shops was right there. Abby was wonderful to deal with and even left a welcome basket! The kitchen was well equipped for any cooking you want to do. The house was very clean and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back. It was a perfect place for a getaway for three 66 year old friends.

Relaxing

Great location, short walk to everything.The apartment is clean and spacious, it had everything we needed and more.The kitchen was fully equipped. Deck and dock were a wonderful place to relax.Our host gave very useful information prior to arrival and answered all our questions.I would definitely return.

Wonderful Property

The location of the property could not have been better. Right in the middle of Boothbay within walking distance to all the amenities. The condo was very clean and cozy with comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen. The back patio and floating dock made for a great place to relax and enjoy the harbor atmosphere. Will definitely be back next time we visit Boothbay.

Best location

You cannot beat the location of this property. It is right in the town of Boothbay Harbor and also on the water. You can walk to restaurants, shops and tours. The host was very friendly and had so much helpful information for us. The home had everything we needed and more. We will come back and book this place again.

Wonderful weekend

My elderly mother and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Back Bay Cottage - Portside. Mom did needlework, read and enjoyed the view and being right on the water(!). I was able to easily explore all that Boothbay Harbor has to offer, all within walking distance. We loved it so much that we reserved a weekend in May in 2023.

Outstanding property with an amazing location

An outstanding location to use as a base for exploring the Boothbay region. We had a few rainy days which were perfect for just sitting in the den reading a good book and watching the tide come and go. Easily walk to all of the restaurants and shops and as an added treat we saw the holiday fireworks from the foot bridge. The condo was immaculate and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Abby is an amazing host and was a joy to work with. We look forward to visiting again.

Amazing Stay in Boothbay Harbor!

This lovely home was absolutely perfect for the two of us and offered everything you might need! The off-season might not be perfect for all - with some restaurants or shops closed or on limited hours - but for a quiet simple getaway of hiking, quiet coffee mornings, amazing waterfront views, and easy access to the beautiful town this home can't be beat. Abby made us feel welcome from the first communication. Don't miss a day at Ocean View Point (walk it!) - and enjoy this amazing home and town...

Pure Perfection

Magnificent views, Outstanding location, and Superb accommodations. This property is PURE PERFECTION. The photos do not do it justice. From the moment we walked into the door we were in love. The 6 of us were completes comfortably in the home with plenty of room. From long breakfasts on the dock listening to the water crash against the rocks to short walks throughout the harbor town shopping, speaking with locals, and grabbing a delicious meal - this was exactly what we needed to relax and rejuvenate. Abby was an amazing host - responsive, accommodating, and thorough with all necessary information. We CAN NOT wait to return.

Great choice!

The property is a lovely cottage right on the water with spectacular views, especially from the den. Well equipped kitchen and easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, ports, and a pretty park with a beachfront. Also, Abby was great at communicating with us, and her notes helped us a lot with planning. We especially appreciated the Y passes to take advantage of the therapy pool on one rainy day. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Little slice of heaven

I'd agree with another poster- the pictures dont do it justice! The windows over the harbor were magical and the porch for sunrise was so special. (For me, not my children, who sleep all day!) Such peacefulness. The place had everything we needed- coffeemakers, a nice clean fridge, a great pantry where you'd find the things you'd rather not buy like sugar and flour, and a very sweet little welcome basket from Abby. I wish we were still there. Oh and the location for us was just perfect. Walking to everywhere. We couldn't have enjoyed it more.

Absolutely wonderful!

Our stay was just perfect! Abby was so helpful and quick to respond to questions. The home is beautiful, comfortable and very clean. You can't beat the water view and location to town - a real gem. We loved everything about this lovely home, especially Abby’s kindness and attentiveness to details. Can't wait to return.

A wonderful place to stay. The interior is just as pictured. The beds are comfortable. They morning sun rise comes into the condo waterside windows and lights up the space. The den(?) off to the side of the gathering room, is a great space to read and watch the water/tide flats. We were there in February and there is not much going own in Boothbay Harbor, but we found a wonderful restaurant - rustic, friendly and excellent food (steak, sword fish, scallops, extra dry martinis). We walked around and explored the town and surroundings - it was cold, exhilarating, and peceful. Can't wait to go back.

The property was exactly as advertised, and working with the property owner was easy and pleasant! We could not have asked for a better spot in Boothbay Harbor- close to everything but extremely private and peaceful!! We will be back!!

Our Anniversary Getaway

Great home in a perfect location! It’s surprisingly spacious and the view from the dock was just a great place for am coffee! It’s walkable to all the downtown shops & restaurants too! There were just a few small issues (things that needed to be replaced/repaired) that I brought to the owners attention as I didn’t want to be responsible for the damage. The owner was very receptive. We unfortunately had to leave early (due to family members hospitalization) we contacted Abbey & Mary (house manager) and offered our fridge full food to a local food pantry. All in all a great house & Boothbay expierence!
