Comfortable and affordable accommodation close to the city centre, tram and local shops but in a quiet and pleasant street. Helpful concierge on site for assistance and tips!
Easy ground floor access and parking behind building. Low noise given area can be busy with traffic. No immediate garden area on the property for dogs but lots of grassy places on the street for break time and walks.
The property was not what was promised. I had to reach out to the property manager to find out what the process was to check in the day before I was due to arrive, as nobody messaged me, and luckily I did. I was not going to make the window of only 30 minutes to speak with reception as they close at 2.30pm, (check in is at 2pm). So apparently I would need to enter codes to get into the building. Both codes sent to me were totally wrong. I was able to squeeze in the glass doors as they slightly opened when I entered the first incorrect code at the front door, and then tried the code for the lockbox which again was also wrong. Thankfully the phone number was there to call for help and Jennie did answer my call and gave me the correct info. Finally in my room I arrived to a queen bed when I had very clearly asked for 2 single beds, and these were also in the photos of the room on the website. I specifically said that this room was for my adult daughter and myself, so this was not an ideal situation. For the hefty price of the room I was very disappointed.
Neat tidy friendly well located happy to return next time we are in Melbourne.
Easy to arrange rental. Important to book as early as possible. A little time elapsed between online booking and final confirmation. Mean time no other booking could be made as we waited for this confirmation. All ended well.
Good location, relatively good value, but not flash!
Apartments were in a great spot, walking distance to the city and on-site parking was great. The ladies on reception were lovely, but I'm afraid that's where the lovely stopped. The apartment was situated up a couple of flights of stairs, so worth asking for a ground floor apartment if you have mobility issues. (We weren't given the option when booking). The apartment itself (#17) was very tired. Walls had been haphazardly washed leaving streaks everywhere that looked pretty dodgy (one pondered what had been washed off and none of those scenarios were good). There was no door to the bedroom, so don't anticipate privacy if you're thinking of using it as a 2 bedroom stay. The furnishings are meh and the kitchen area and bathroom are pretty sad. (i.e., old, tired and not well cared for. The bathroom in particular needs a good clean). There was 1 small round of cheap wrapped hospitality soap for 4 guests and whatever was in the shower dispenser (shampoo??) was a gross consistency and smell, so bring your own toiletries. Oh, and if you want anything other than English breakfast tea and coffee, then bring your own supplies too. Sorry I can't be more flattering, but I expected more as the photos looked promising and it was still more expensive than other 2 bedroom options in the area.
Secure parking was a worthwhile option. The location was nice and quiet yet close to shopping for supplies. Some of the fixtures and fittings were a little tired but serviceable. Lots of green grass around was a boom to walk the dog easily
Thanks
