The property was clean, but a bit of an old âdusty mustyâ. We found wet towels in the dryer, the cushion-less outdoor furniture was covered, and a full propane tank sitting in the middle of the deckâŠwere they called away mid tasks? A handyman showed up to replace a battery in the door code boxâŠno call or text, quite startling for the guest who was there and came downstairs to find him there with the open door. It was adequate for a few nights, but in need of attention by someone who cares.
Very clean comfortable house on a quiet street near a path down to the beach. Quiet and relaxing with a nice deck and great kitchen. Would stay there again!
Cute and cozy house with a quick walk to the ocean. House was clean, close enough to walk into town for breakfast. Would definitely come back to enjoy this place again.
Lovely house, older style, like my grandparents house in 1960's. Kitchen had everything you needed for cooking, including beach plastic ware.
Kitchen table was old and pock marked, could be replaced or nice table cover could brighten things up.
Only one bathroom and upstairs was fine, maybe a problem for some. Bathroom had no hair dryer, only curling iron from the 80's. Beds were super comfy, plenty of towels.
Great property, but definitely over priced for style of house and furniture. Loved the more quiet location, had the beach to ourselves
This property is in a perfect location! The house had everything we needed to enjoy the beach and town. We didn't mind that it wasn't updated. We did wish there were screens on the doors in the bedrooms. Overall- great place to stay!!
Stay was wonderful. House was clean and everything was easily accessible. Only down side was we bought stuff to make sâmores and the fireplace outside didnât work as we thought it would /:
My daughter, a couple of her friends, and I had a lovely time. It's comfortable, no frills but covers all the basics, has a nice layout with the bedrooms upstairs. Everything worked well. There's no view of the beach, but you can hear the waves and it's just a block away. I appreciated the location--a beautiful 15 - 20 minute walk along the beach to reach downtown Manzanita. The girls loved the giant bed and screen for late-night movie watching. We had a great time. Thank you!
We had some minor difficulty accessing the code when we arrived and the WiFi did not work. Meredith attempted to fix. Seems likely that the Spectrum bill was not paid or there was an outage in the area. Other than those minor glitches it was a delightful property - prett, clean and walking distance to the beach and close to the wedding venue (we were there for a wedding)
Ugh. The main bed caved toward the center. The bathroom and towels were in bad shape. Kitchen is a hodge podge of items not worth using. No cutting board.
House is roomy for 4, kitchen is large and well equipped, the seating and beds are comfortable, and the location is great. No bath on main floor, not ideal.
Property could use some TLC. Overgrown bushes make it difficult to park 2 cars. Interior has a few places that need touch ups.
Property managers were very responsive, but we had several issues. House had not been cleaned when we arrived. Cleaning crew arrived during dinner and were very efficient. Managers agreed to refund our cleaning fee. Kitchen had no coffee filters and wrong ones were provided. First time using Meredith, so donât know if we just caught them at a bad time.
Very slippery entry tile. My friend Austin fell.
Dishwasher door wouldn't close properly
Toaster was broken
Bathroom smelled, broken handle on shower door
Holes in the walls
Mold on bath ceiling
Sources towels in washer
Manzanita is a beautiful, peaceful, quaint beach town. It was a very short walk from the cottage to the beach with easy access. The cottage is older with a vintage vibe. If youâre looking for new, fresh amenities, this is not the place you. If you want a quaint, relaxing atmosphere, then you will enjoy the stay.
