Excellent apartment, right in the centre of town, just at the end of the Main Street. Absolutely perfect view from the apartment balcony, sip your wine as you marvel at Mont Blanc......
indoors this apartment is well equipped with everything you need and comfortably sleeps 8, great for us, 2 families travelling together. Ian the owner responds to emails very promptly and has been extremely helpful with any queries. Looking forward to my 4th stay next summer.
Great location well-equipped "home" great town!
The apartment is well located in central Chamonix convenient to all commerce. Plenty of space with a beautiful lounge, well-equipped kitchen and dining area, a wonderful spacious pool, and a roomy balcony with "to-die-for" views. Relatively quiet despite location; parking on site but somewhat limited. The information for renters is well-organized and complete. A great spot for a family reunion (and even better for us, who left the four adult kids on their own. We have no complaints and the owners have been great to deal with long-distance, sight-unseen.
Comfortable, well equipped, convenient location
Our second visit to this apartment in 3 years, this time with 6 adults. It’s in a great location within easy walking distance of the town centre and a brilliant base for exploring the surrounding mountains and nearby villages (using the valley train). It’s very comfortable with plenty of seating in the open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room. Well equipped for doing your own cooking but also within a short stroll of restaurants, bakeries, etc. Lovely view from the balcony (table with 6 seats for outdoor eating) of Mont Blanc. The shared swimming pool was lovely and refreshing after long mountain walks or bike rides. Ian provides excellent customer service, responding quickly to any questions. I will definitely recommend to friends.
Comfortable, great location
Our 2nd stay in this apartment, this time with 6 adults. It’s very comfortable and in a very convenient location with the added bonus, in the summer, of having a good sized swimming pool (shared but never busy when we were there). Well equipped and plenty of seating in the open plan dining/sitting room and on the balcony with views towards Mont Blanc. We enjoyed exploring the mountains by foot and on mountain bikes - amazing flowers at this time of year. We visited plenty of mountain chalet restaurants that somehow manage to supply delicious food despite being miles from the nearest road. We ate out a few times - the local fondues are amazing, but also cooked our own meals in the very well equipped kitchen. Our visit coincided with the Mont Blanc Marathon so there was a great vibe in town as the runners approached the town centre finish line.
Ian is an excellent host and ensured that all my questions and requests we answered promptly. I will definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family.
Great week's break in Chamonix
We loved the property the town and the skiing! Everything was within walking distance. The bus to the various slopes, the local shops, restaurants and bars.
The apartment itself was clean comfortable and great to lie up with a glass of wine and wood burner on after a day skiing.
Thanks to Ian for all the help and guidance before arriving.
Spacious, good facilities & great location
As a group of 6 adults we spent a week in the apartment for a ski/boarding holiday. Being all male we appreciated the set up of 3 twin bedrooms and used the 4th bunk room as storage for bags, etc. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and in a great location in central Chamonix. A short walk to the nearest ski bus stop and an even shorter walk to several bars, restaurants, cafes, bakery and small supermarket.
All in all a great place to spend a week in Chamonix. Recommended.
Our changeover day is usually Saturday, especially in high season. Check in is 5pm and check out is 10am. Linen is optional and is £16.50 per person (including bath towels, tea towels, hand towels, and bath mats). This is an optional charge and is not included in the rental price. Taxe de Sejour/Stay tax is £0.90 per person over 12 years old per night. The private residents pool is open mid-June to mid-September.
