À propos de cet hébergement

Vous devez gravir la montagne si vous voulez voir la vue. Notre cabine confortable avec sa vue magnifique et son atmosphère calme est à seulement 15 minutes de la ville pittoresque de Berkeley Springs et de Hancock et à 30 minutes du parc national de Cacapon. Il y a une belle cheminée en pierre à l'extérieur sur le pont enveloppant parfait pour smores. Cornhole et jeux de baby-foot. Jeu de fléchettes et table de poker pour votre plaisir. Les deux chambres à l'étage ont des lits queen. Une chambre en bas a un lit queen et l'autre chambre a 2 lits jumeaux. Il y a un futon à l'étage qui se déplie en un grand lit. Les deux salles de bains ont une baignoire à jets merveilleux pour se détendre après une longue randonnée.

Mountain weekend

Loved your beautiful cabin! Thank you for your great communication too. The cabin was a challenge to get to especially after the rainstorm, but the view and accommodations were amazing. One suggestion would be to add Wi-Fi as it was impossible to communicate with other friends in the area.

A getaway we’ll never forget!

Jimmy and Mandy have put in so much love and hard work to make a home that is welcoming to all their guest and grandkids. The view was breathtaking and the house was immaculate. I do warn have a 4x4 vehicle or something that can climb cause the mountain road is steep! Also be prepared for dobsonfly’s in the dozens at night.

Beautiful Cabin

Amazing stay in Cacapon. Place is idyllic. You really should have a 4x4 to get up the final hill. We almost didn’t make it multiple times. Scary situation! Also, there are 2 of this address. One in Cacapon and one in Berkeley. Make sure you enter the one in Cacapon! Otherwise amazing amazing amazing!

Wonderful - As Always!!

This was our 4th stay at the cabin. As always everything was perfect. Beds comfy, linens excellent. Immaculate home. Well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing time. We did lose power on Saturday night but - no problem! We used the grill to cook steaks and we baked potatoes out the coals in the fireplace. We ate dinner by lantern/candlelight. It made dinner that much more special. Speaking of the fireplace - Mandy & Jim know we love our outdoor fires. They had so much wood there for us. No chance of running out. I reached out to Mandy & she kept us in the loop on when the power was expected to be back. We can't wait to come back!

Stunning Cabin in the Cacapon Hills

A definite 5* experience. The accommodations are more than was expected. The open floor plan with the stunning views of the valley, the outside deck with the fireplace and grill, the detailed information provided by the hosts Mandy and Jimmy, make this remote cabin an exceptional choice for a relaxing experience with family and friends. If you are not arriving in a 4 wheel drive vehicle, I suggest when you get the directions, use the gradual climb route suggested by our host.

Great stay!

We enjoyed staying at this place. It was a nice quiet place. We especially enjoyed the quiet nature, birds and butterflies. The view is great! Pretty much NO connection for our phones, but we still enjoyed it. The beds were comfy!

Another PERFECT getaway!!

This was our 3rd stay at this property. We are always so impressed by the cabin. The home is stocked with everything you might need. Beds are comfortable, linens are wonderful. Mandy & Jimmy know us so well - they stocked the wood box and left some extra wood for us to use. We used the outdoor fireplace both nights. The view from the deck, both the scenery and the sky are absolutely amazing. We were blessed with perfect weather. It was just chilly enough to sit by the fire for hours. I recommend you go when the moon is new. That assures that the moonlight won't drown out the millions of stars you will see if the sky is clear. We will be back! Thanks so much!!

Guys weekend

We were looking for a place in the mountains to relax, grill, play yard games, and listen to music...well we picked the right place! The setting was beautiful and quiet. Jim and Mandy have a super clean home with a great open floor plan. We'll be back next year for sure!!!

Wonderful Vacation

The property is absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained. We enjoyed our trip so much, we were very relaxed and had a very quiet location. The kids enjoyed the area to explore and play and we were able to do some exploring in town as well. The Pooles were great and easy to work with for the checking in process. They also left great directions for all appliances etc. as well as lots of handy hints for attractions. We definitely would enjoy a second visit. Thank you again for a much needed get away. Guys trip

A guys trip to remember. The location of this cabin is perfect for a quiet getaway with great views. the cabin was very clean and comfortable for 4 guys. Located near river which has great kayaking, rope swings, rock jumps, and swimming. We greatly enjoyed this trip and hope to return again.

This was our second stay at this property and once again it did not disappoint! The spectacular view and the fireplace alone make this place worth the stay. Ample outside space and the open kitchen/dinning/living room concept round out this beautiful property. We will definitely be back!

2nd Annual 5 Girls Get Away

Stayed at Grandview for the second time. WE LOVE THIS PROPERTY! It is our fall family trip! Host is quickly responsive to questions. Property is stunning in views, cleanliness, and amenities. Great for children as well as adults! Can't recommend any more highly! Experience is well worth the trip up the mountain to have a great time!

Beautiful mountain view

We had a fantastic stay here. The view from the main room and deck is worth the steep drive up the mountain. Owners made everything just so easy. Only draw back for folks like me who must remain in touch with work is the poor cell phone reception on the mountain and lack of internet. Looking forward to going back!

We had a great time, the first road was very steep, but we used the other one and it was better. Loved the view, and everybody just wanted to hang out there and not go anywhere else.

We bought this cabin and totally renovated it to have a weekend getaway for ourselves that would allow us to disconnect for a while but still be close to towns where we could reconnect and socialize . At the time we had 2 kids in college, fast forward and we now have 2 children and 2 in-law children and have just been blessed with our 4th grandchild. Our children and their families love to spend time at the cabin but as it is with life other things take precedence and we don’t seem to get up here as much. So we thought why not let others enjoy this area and our cabin.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

What originally brought us to this area was the Cacapon state park and it’s wonderful golf course. After spending time in Berkeley springs and Hancock we decided to look for a cabin. Even though there are many things to do and places to eat we actually love just staying at the cabin. It is very quiet and extremely relaxing.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The view is by far one of the best features at the cabin but the peace and quiet were what sold me personally There is no WiFi which some may see as a detriment but we never miss it. There is cell phone service can be spotty at times. we have a good direct tv package for tv viewing but there is no internet service.
