Idéal Getaway Cottage: Situé à 4 miles de Berkeley Springs, WV - les premières sources minérales Spa Warm du pays ont été utilisées par les Amérindiens comme eaux de guérison bien avant l'arrivée des colons blancs. Great and quiet space for a gathering of family and friends. Nice to be able to use the pool for a few young kids visiting one day! A great lunch together on the deck to seat all our visitors for a quiet picnic lunch. Kitchen is fully equipped! Beds are super comfortable. Linens are a plus. Thanks.

Very comfortable cottage

The cottage was spacious, comfortable, and relaxing. The neighborhood was great for walking and hiking. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Weekend Get-Away with The Girls

We had a very pleasant stay in the woods! Plenty of beds with a wood burning stove and an extra large living room made for a super cozy night-in around a large coffee table with friends. Superb accommodations for a large group–we highly recommend!

Quiet weekend away with old friends

The property was just like the pictures. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. A very easy and short drive to the center of town. We loved the back deck and porch. It was a very relaxing and wonderful weekend, would love to return

Weekend reunion

This location was lovely, it had everything we needed! The big comfy couches in the living room were perfect for gathering and playing games. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of room for sleeping. Nice showers and the hot water never faltered.

Peaceful Setting. Home is well maintained and very well stocked.

We had a great time. The house is stocked with everything you would need. The large den and even larger back deck provide plenty of space for a large group to gather. The house was super clean upon our arrival. I highly recommend this place to potential renters. We will certainly be back again next year. Thanks.

Plenty of beds, very well equipped kitchen, excellent appliances.

The location was great for our needs with good hiking and pleasant views. There were lots of beds but one bed was too firm for my husband and I. One suggestion, the living. room was hard to move around in because there was too much furniture. The wood stove was wonderful.

Great Fall weekend getaway

We had a great weekend in the home. Lots of room for 4 friends to spread, with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of bedding, towels, blankets and pillows. It felt very restful and private in the woods. It was too chilly to sit on the nice porch but very cozy to stay inside. We would return!

Cheery cabin was a perfect fall getaway

We had a wonderful time at Carolyn's cottage. We took our five children, ranging in age from 5 to 16, and everyone enjoyed themselves, even climbing the mountain via the blue trail. The house is decorated in such a warm, whimsical way with international touches and bold color and lots of real wood furniture. Carolyn was very nice and responsive and we had everything we needed for cozy family getaway. We hope to be able to return!

Family Getaway

We were vacationing with our adult children, 8 of us in total. There was plenty of space to spread out so no one felt over crowded. The living room was a wonderful gathering place, as well as room around the table for meals. The community pool was very refreshing and in a beautiful setting. The cottage location was great, you had the seclusion of the woods, trails and wildlife, yet just minutes from downtown berkley springs. I would highly recommend. Thank you for having us!

I'm originally from New York and formally taught at City University and for the State University. Coming to WV I was elected to the State Legislature and then worked for Governor Rockefeller for 8 years running his Eastern Panhandle office and working with economic development.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

For a time I was involved with Coolfont Resort that developed the Coolfont Mountainside as well as the resort. I found the area not only naturally beautiful but found those involved in the community,interesting with varied backgrounds, primarily professional, caring, kindly souls that loved nature and intellectual pursuits. The town itself is one of the top artists towns in the country and has a fun, mix of creative people and activities.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Located in the woods, private yet with neighbors somewhat nearby, amenities such as hiking trails, tennis, beautiful pool and hot tub in a wooded setting, close to town, easy access where all factors in my decision to purchase.
