This was an amazing place to stay for vacation. The quiet side of the mountains away from all the noise and hustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but still close enough to visit when we wanted to venture out. Only heard the sounds of nature and the creek at nightâŠeven visited by a small black bear walking along the creek while we were sitting outside one evening. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Owner is always available and communication was never a problem. This is our second time renting here because we loved the location so much.
BEST CABIN IN GATLINBURG / PIGEON FORGE HANDS DOWN (After three other VRBO stays in the area)! Even the hot tub is fully functional with no broken buttons (first we have ever seen in a VRBO). AMAZING STAY!!! Very easy drive to it as mentioned! DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK!!! WOW!!!
Everything was great. Very clean. Lots of kitchen utensils and many times there arenât near enough so this was great. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us
Excellent property for large family get together. Just a little early for best color, but had snow on the mountain overnight. Had a visit from a bear the first morning. Our host for this property was extremely helpful and kept us informed on some needed property maintenance.
This is a great get-away place-away from all the hub bub of life-Beautiful Cabin in secluded part of town. Easy to get to, yet close enough to town. We will definitely book again!
This cabin is in a great location and very clean. I will say this is the first cabin we have stayed in where you are required to clean and refill the hot tub if you use it. However, the other cabins we have rented were managed by a company. We would definitely rent this cabin again!
Chose cabin due to proximity to park entrance, loved our stay, such a convenient location, secluded but close to everything
Saw mother bear with 2 cubs on two occasions
Our family usually goes to the smokies at least once a year. We have a timeahare in Pigeon Forge. This year we decided to stay in a cabin. This cabin is secluded, yet a very easy drive. The cabin is very nice, and the location is perfect! The whole process was very easy as well!
Cabin was easy to get to, No major hills roads paved 2 minutes from park entrance, 15 minutes from pigeon forge. Set back in the woods. Very calm and peaceful location. Cabin is well maintained, very clean. Owner is easily reachable, We enjoyed are time at Laurel glen cabin and are planning to stay here again, on our next vacation.
Owners were very responsive. Cabin was very clean. The creek was great for exploring and the fire pit was great. The decks were very relaxing, as you can hear the creek water trickling from all three levels. There were lots of extras: paper goods, soap, coals, fire roasters, movies, etc. Location was great and parking was ample. Would definitely recommend this cabin!
Our family had a wonderful time staying at Laurel Glen cabin! The location is in a quiet setting very close to the Smoky Mountains National Park which was super convenient. The sound of the creek was so relaxing and our kids loved exploring the property and wading in the creek with their muck boots on. We have stayed at many cabins in Wears Valley (this was our 12th trip to the area) and Laurel Glen was by far the cleanest, and most well cared for cabin weâve rented. Owner was very responsive to inquiries and check-in was a breeze.
I had to title it for our favorite experience during our week stay! One the third day of our stay we pulled into the drive to see a mama bear and two tiny cubs right there in our yard! It was hands down the highlight of our trip! The cabin is super clean with great wifi signal and strength, we had to buy Roku sticks for the TVs because we prefer to stream instead of satellite/cable tv. Every room is large and laid out nicely with plenty of room for storage. We felt right at home and plan to book again for next year.
All went well with our stay. No problems of any kind. Location is great if you plan to make trips into the park, and if you like to be a bit detached from the chaos of P.F. and Gatlinburg. With the cabin being at the foot of the mountain there are no steep or narrow roads to travel every time you leave or return. The three level arrangement worked well for us - two grandparents, two parents, and two kids - each group having their own floor with bathrooms.
This house is a perfect set up for 1-2 families and in a perfect location. The park is literally right around the corner. The kids (and adults) loved the pool table. We spent most of the time at the house outdoors since the decks were huge. We saw a bear, fireflies and so many bids, we even heard an owl hooting every night. The kitchen has all the necessities for cooking, along with an outdoor grill. Brad was always available to answer questions and make sure we had what we needed. I canât wait to return.
The property was beautiful. Perfect for the five friends we had. The kitchen light was burnt out, as well as an outdoor light was flickering. The only other issue was the DVD player did not work. Everything chip skipping. All else was beautiful.
Looking for a place where your neighbors are all in your business and can see everything you do? Alive to have chaos all around? Laurel Glen is not the place for you. Now, if youâre looking for a peaceful place in a private valley with a gorgeous view, a private creek, a true escape from the day to day chaos, this is the perfect place! Itâs the perfect mix of privacy and convenience. A quick drive to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, and at the same time a perfect spot to disconnect and enjoy nature.
Our family stayed at this amazing vacation home for a week. It was beautifully decorated and spacious. There were so many chair choices to sit or rock on the porches by the stream. The house was immaculate and the owner,Brad , was always available if needed. We loved the location - private and quiet to retreat to in the evenings, but very small distance to major attractions. The central air was awesome ! Especially since it was so humid and toasty every day. Thank you , Brad, for a lovely first time vacation to Tennessee! I think we will be back ! Blessings, Becky
If your looking to be actually in the Mountains this is the place, your right on the outside of the national park away from the crowds and traffic of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but close enough to drive to the attractions. The cabin is beautiful and exactly you would expect from a cabin in the mountains, driveway, and very private. Brad the owner was wonderful. He responded quickly to all my questions and even provided suggestions. I would like to inform others that there are many steps on each level and to get inside the home which makes it difficult with someone whom has any disabilities.
Growing up and working in the Smoky Mountains in the 70's, section hiking part of the Appalachian Trail in 2015, I knew this was home. After a 20 year military career and 23 years as a business owner, the mountains were calling! My wife and I purchased this unique and private cabin after searching for years. We would love nothing more then to share it with you in hopes that you too, will fall in love with The Great Smoky Mountains!
There are no Mountains to drive up and the cabin has very easy access to everything the area has to offer including access to the National Park just around the corner. It's secluded without rows of cabins and guest so you can enjoy your time, space and privacy.
Very private cabin on 5.2 acres with a mountain spring creek. Enjoy a rare opportunity to experience a true mountain hollow in The Great Smoky Mountains at Laurel Glen Cabin.
