Cette maison offre certaines des meilleures vues sur l'océan sur la côte. Toute la maison a été rénovée du sol au plafond. Personnalisé artisans boiseries dans toute la maison, y compris parquet en chêne cru magnifiquement restauré, les plafonds de pin, salles de bains d'artisans de séquoia, y compris le séquoia dalle comptoirs et les planchers en porcelaine chauffés. Le chauffage radiant fournit de la chaleur constante et stable dans toute la maison. Chaque chambre dispose d'un radiateur et chaque salle de bains a un porte-serviettes chauffant. Wonderful Vacation Home

My wife and I stayed in this house while we eloped in the Redwoods. This has to be the best place to stay in all of Crescent City with the most amazing host. It is spacious, clean, in the quietest part of the neighborhood, very safe as it is just down the street from a police station, the host responds to questions super quick, very close to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, and best of all has an amazing view!!! If Crescent City is your destination, you won’t regret staying here.

Nice quiet vacation home

Beautiful view, very clean and well maintained property, easy access to beach and lighthouse. Wonderful morning view of fog rolling off the ocean and crashing waves. Dining options in town are disappointing - best if you come prepared to cook in the well appointed kitchen! Grocery store in town is close by, a bit pricey and limited but you can still get the family fed. Very short drive to numerous scenic beaches and redwood forest experiences. Overall a wonderful get away.

Beautiful and close to everything

The house was beautiful, well stocked and felt like home. Beds were very comfortable and the view and location were amazing. We enjoyed the beach, just steps away, and with just a few minutes drive we were in Jedidiah Smith walking in the redwoods and enjoying the crystal clear waters of Smith River. Highly Recommend!!

Highly recommend!

This charming cottage was absolutely perfect! Excellent views, everything you need was provided, and it was spacious with comfortable beds. The owners even provide binoculars for sea watching, and colored pencils and paper for drawing. I could add much more but check it out for yourself. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful placew!

The place was very nice. Everything you could ask for was provided - condiments, paper towels, books, games, even diapers! And the view was spectacular!! We could sit in the living room, have a cup of coffee and see the ocean and the light house. Fantastic!

Awesome!

Our stay here was incredible! The house was super comfortable and had everything we needed. It was so convenient to walk down to the beach. The best part is the view - we loved looking out at the ocean while we drank coffee in the mornings and watching the fog roll in in the afternoon.

Terrific house and location

The ocean views from this house are incredible: you can watch the waves rolling in for hours. And the house is very clean and comfortable with many updated features and everything you need to enjoy your stay. It was a perfect base camp for a Redwoods-oriented vacation. We would stay here again if we’re back in Crescent City.

Comfy cozy!

Beautiful view of lighthouse! Great location only one house from the beach. House was comfy cozy even when the power went out for a few hours in the evening. The only downside to this home is the neighbors messy yard that you have to look at. Other than that it was perfect!

Close Beach and Easy Redwood forest access

My husband and our two kids (12 & 14), stayed at Phil and Nicole’s place for three days after Christmas. It was the perfect size and even though CA was experiencing King waves, we could enjoy them from the sitting room. Nicole and Phil were great communicators, and have a very well stocked kitchen. We cooked everyday, and had all the amenities we needed. If we ever head back to Northern California, we would definitely stay there again!

Great Location in Crescent City

Well stocked kitchen including condiments, Comfortable beds and ocean views. We walked to the ocean and found lots of starfish in the tide pools. Lots of great hiking nearby and a great brewery.

Cozy beach house

We knew as soon as we entered this house by the ocean we would enjoy our time there. The house was so clean and tastefully decorated. The owners had thought of everything we might need and reached out just in case. It was reassuring to know all we had to do is call or text. I spent a lot of time just sitting and staring at the ocean. Very relaxing. Crescent City is such a nice place to visit. The beaches are plentiful with easy access and you are only a few miles away from endless hiking in the redwoods. I hope to return again soon.

Gorgeous views!

We loved staying at this home. Comfortable spaces. Well stocked kitchen. I could have looked out the windows for hours! Great location to head into Redwoods for the day. And definitely worth a trip to the lighthouse - especially to see the tide pools!

Nice for Families

This was a great place for our family of 4 with two toddlers to have a home base for exploring the Redwoods. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Great views and near the beach. Overall great stay.

Perfect location

We absolutely loved this house! Where do I start? The location could not have been better. Amazing ocean views, view of the lighthouse, and one house away from access to a pretty cool beach for exploring. But also not right on a cliff, so I was perfectly comfortable playing outside with my two little boys, age four and two. You’re also very close to plenty of great beaches, restaurants, and activities. The house has modern amenities where you want them, like the fully stocked kitchen and the beautifully updated bathrooms. But at the same time, had that comfy/cozy old school beach house feeling like you’re at your own family home. There’s a beautiful sandstone fireplace, a piano that must’ve been about a hundred years old, board games, and my favorite: six recipe cards in a frame on the kitchen wall that I can only assume are mom’s famous recipes. Like buttermilk biscuits, banana bread, and after school snack. I just found that so sweet and homey. Anyway, wonderful experience all around. Thank you to the owner for sharing this wonderful property with us!

Phil and Nicole are Residents of the Bay Area and love coming up to Crescent City to enjoy Hiking and spending time at the numerous beaches.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The house was passed down to the family from Phil’s Grandparents who were long term residents of Crescent City. Growing up our family spent most summers at the house with many great memories enjoying barbecues at the beach and taking advantage of the nearby smith river and many beautiful redwood forest hiking trails.

This house sits on a bluff with phenomenal views of the coastline and the Battery Point Lighthouse. The house is only ten short yards from public beach access and offers many opportunities for spontaneous trips to the beach.
