We had a relaxing, romantic time in Casa Rosa. We cannot say enough kind, wonderful things about Ana and her entire staff. Everyone was happy and eager to help with any questions and all had excellent advice for outings, restaurants and bakeries! The setting is extraordinary and the view of the city is breathtaking, especially at night. We absolutely loved it and will remember our time always.
If youâre looking at this listing and trying to decide whether to book it, do it! This apartment is in a charming small building on the larger property of a centuries old villa. There is no better view of the city from this hilltop and the gardens are spectacular. The apartment itself is very comfortable and has everything you need. Thereâs a lovely patio too. I will definitely book again when I return to Florence.
We stayed in this beautiful apartment for almost two weeks and had a lovely quiet stay. The grounds are nice, the views amazing and we spent many hours on the spacious balcony. The apartment has a full kitchen as well as two comfortably bedrooms and bathrooms. Ana was very accommodating. Although it was not a downside for us, renters should be aware that it is a distance from the city center which requires a good 30 minute walk or a taxi cab. Highly recommended!
The Hotel Torre di Bellosguardo is an extraordinary property with probably the best and most beautiful views over Florence. The hotel staff are very nice and friendly especially Roberto who helps with directions and anything you may need. We all had a fun evening having Italian cookery lessons on the property and the owners wife Ana did a fantastic job of showing us how to make pasta, sauces and desserts . We all ate the prepared food together and had a lovely evening.
The apartment was very cosy with a good kitchen although a new coffee machine would be a good idea. The beds are comfortable and good quality bed linen. Some other areas are in need of some updating and repairs to the bathrooms and doors in the living dining room. The sofa doesnât really work for more than 2 people and could do with updating.
The sun loungers on the patio and at the hotel pool should be replaced as they are very uncomfortable and there are no cushions. Some of them are broken.
Overall it is a delightful setting and we enjoyed the experience of staying on this beautiful and ancient property.

Beautiful, peaceful place to stay.
The Casa Rosa was a lovely apartment for the two weeks we stayed in Florence with our daughter. The walk to town in the mornings was beautiful. We usually grabbed a taxi home if we had groceries or tired after a day of walking the city. The only thing that stopped me from 5 stars was the furniture in the unit and patio space. The couch cushions kept exiting there expected position and you would end up sliding toward the floor! It would have been nice to have some cushions on the outdoor chaise lounges but there was a lot of rain so maybe they hadnât been put out for the summer yet. Beds were really firm but linens were crisp and clean and lovely. Kitchen was great! Very well stocked with cooking utensils and necessary items. The views were stunning and the staff was great! Overall would return if we could get a few soft functional chairs to help with seating inside and out. Thank you!
