Nouvelle annonce publiée le 22/06/15! Confortable, deux chambres, une salle de bain, en ville, évadez-vous! Une chambre avec lit king size. La deuxième chambre a un ensemble de lits superposés. Le canapé du salon a un lit queen-size avec un surmatelas en mousse à mémoire de forme. Tous les nouveaux draps. Internet / WIFI et sèche-cheveux. Cuisine complète avec vaisselle, casseroles, ustensiles de cuisson, mixeur, mixeur, ustensiles et ustensiles en plastique pour les repas en plein air. A également une nouvelle laveuse et sécheuse et une planche / fer à repasser. Paravent, meublé, véranda. Ensemble barbecue et terrasse à gaz pour six personnes. Grande cour arrière avec foyer. Auvent de plage, serviettes de plage, chaises de plage, vélos / casques et glacière roulante. Articles bébé très propres: poussette unisexe, Pack and Play et chaise haute. Lovely cottage great location

This lovely cottage was located within walking distance of both the Lake Michigan beach and downtown Charlevoix. We also enjoyed the bikes that are included with the property! The owners did a great job with attention the detail by having everything well stocked. We will definitely stay here again.

Bucket list material

Cottage was comfortable, welcoming and a perfectly placed. Trust us you want to be on this side of the draw bridge. In walking distance of downtown shops and eateries. Checked one off the bucket list taking the time to visit Mackinac Island for the day. Which did not disappoint… Baby Sister was married at a beautiful Mushroom house. Charlevoix for the WIN!

Weekend wedding guest and mini family vacay

The cottage is absolutely adorable. It worked perfectly for our weekend needs. The back yard is so big and they have many amenities so we did not have to pack so many items to bring. Our infant slept in the pack and play and we used the stroller as well. Our daughter lived "collecting sticks" for our fire pit and s'mores activity. The beds were comfy and the home was clean.

The house is well maintained and the added conveniences are very nice as well (grill, fire pit, & washer and dryer). It's a great location as you are a short drive to many famous Michigan travel spots (Petosky, Leland [Fishtown] and Mackinaw Island). My only recommendation would be for the owner to have more comfortable beds. The king bed was comfortable, but both the twin beds and the pull out couch mattress were very uncomfortable. Perhaps if it was only two adults and a few kids this wouldn't be an issue, but we planned to sleep on the bunk beds (I'm 30) and it was so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep! The pull out couch was slightly better because there was a foam egg crate topper.

Thank your for your four star review. Also for complimenting the comfort of our king size bed. We are sorry you found the bunk bed mattresses uncomfortable. We have had many adults sleep in these beds and have never had a complaint. The mattresses are older but of high quality. We take EVERY review seriously. Since this review, we have had the opportunity to upgrade the twin mattresses. The pullout sofa in the living room is a Lazy Boy. We also purchased a $150.00 foam memory topper. We all know that sleeping on a pullout is not like sleeping on a thick mattress. However, the topper does add more cushion and comfort. We hope our potential renters will read all of our 5 STAR REVIEWS and feel secure booking a great stay at our Cottage On Wood Street!

The PERFECT place to relax!

This cozy little cottage is quaint, full of character and has everything you could need during your stay! Beds are comfy, the kitchen is fully equipped, beach chairs and towels available, bikes, firepit....I could go on and on! It's location couldn't be nicer...quiet side street and close to everything. Definitely on my list of places to stay at again!

Love this cozy cottage

We came for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay! The house was so clean and cozy. Bridget was very sweet and offered lots of great amenities with the rental. It was close to the wedding venue and downtown Charlevoix/the beach. We spent so much time enjoying the porch and hope to come back again soon!

Fall getaway

We enjoyed our stay.The house is very close to downtown ,with a parking lot nearby.The house was clean and cozy.The owners were very responsive when we messaged them.There were pamphlets with different sites to visit.The owners left a note and they had a notebook with valuable information. We visited downtown Petoskey ,lots of shops and restaurants.Pictured rocks boat cruise was amazing.

My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with this cottage. Super clean. They provided everything we needed and we still had plenty of space for the two of us and all our things. The location was perfect. We took many bike rides around town. We hope to be back again. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Convenient, clean and quiet cottage perfect for a small family

This cottage had everything we needed for a week stay in Charlevoix with the family. Having access to bikes and beach chairs and towels was a bonus. I stayed with my two teenage kids and 79 year old mom. Wish it was a bit closer to downtown but still walkable. Easy to drive my mom and find parking in a public lot with no issues.

Great up north getaway

My husband, myself and our 20 month old daughter stayed in this cute cottage over Memorial Day weekend. It was perfect for the three of us and had everything we needed. Bridget even has an extra stroller, pack n play and high chair if you don’t want to pack yours for the trip! That definitely saved us space not having to bring the high chair and stroller. I really liked the layout of the cottage for sleeping as well, the bedrooms are attached by a bathroom so that was really nice having our little one extra close. Downtown Charlevoix is definitely walking distance from the cottage and also on the street corner of the cottage is a really good ice cream and food place. We visited Lake Michigan and lake Charlevoix. Lake Charlevoix was our favorite, so secluded and nice playground area and rocks on the beach to look through. We had a great stay at this cottage and if you’re looking for one that’s friendly to babies/toddlers, this one is perfect! Thank you Bridget!

A Great place for a relaxing week in Charlevoix

We were extremely pleased with this rental house during our first time to vacation in Charlevoix. The location is within walking distance of restaurants, stores and bars, clustered around the beautiful harbor, but on a quiet residential street that doesn't feel 'touristy' at all. The house was very clean, tidy and nicely decorated with a very comfortable queen bed, and nice sofas and recliners in the living room for reading. (We didn't use the bedroom with the bunk beds, but it looked very nice.) The kitchen, which we used every day, was well equipped. (You can get fresh fish at the retail outlet for the John Cross fisheries just a few blocks away every morning, and have delicious fresh water fish for dinner every evening.) The owners responded immediately to two very minor maintenance issues, and were very helpful in many ways, including furnishing a bike pump so we could use the bikes stored in the shed. We would definitely return to this house on our next trip to Charlevoix.

We have always wanted to purchase a small rental to allow others to experience everything Charlevoix has to offer. We just purchased a second rental directly behind this listing. Working on a remodel at this time!

Our renters seem to enjoy our proximity to town and the beach. They also love the backyard, bikes, grill, and fire pit. We manage our home and live in this town. We try to put a personal touch on our property by meeting each of our renters and being available to them during their stay.
