This ranch was built by my grandparents in 1970. We are blessed my grandparents left us a beautiful oasis in Charlevoix âThe Beautifulâ.
We do not have an oven - we have a miniature toaster oven, a toaster, a microwave, and stove top. Our fridge is a slim fridge (not full size). There is a back up fridge in the garage.
There are 3 bedrooms. There is only 1 full bathroom. A king sized bed is in the Master bedroom which also has a half bath attached. A bedroom with a queen sized bed and a bedroom with a full sized bed. Each bedroom has a full closet with hangers. There are two sofa pull outs in the living room. This space sleeps 6 people As of right now (2025) we are undergoing some minimal construction-which is why the fireplace is not usable.
Wi-Fi is spotty and not always reliable in our area due to the 15 acres it sits on. The best way to enjoy - unplugged.
The only air conditioning is a unit in the living room. We cannot host more than 6 people due to our septic
Overall good experience renting this home. Close to downtown (only 1.5 miles). Great support from owner, home provides everything you need, would stay again.
We enjoyed our stay at this property! It's a nice ranch with plenty of land for our fur babies to play outside. We were visiting family in Charlevoix and needed somewhere to stay nearby. The house was clean and communication with the owners was great. Downtown Charlevoix was a quick drive and was super cute with lots of shops, restaurants and beautiful lake views.
We used this a a base because of the proximity to Castle Farms. My daughter got married there on Saturday the 6th & they along with others all stayed at the Earl, however it was nice having some peace & quiet after a long few days of events.
The home and hostess was very nice and accomodating. We did not find the keurig (in a closet) until our last day but everything was so nice it was not a big deal. I am sure if I had asked about it the hostess wouldhave guided us. I would deginately inquiire to stay here again. nota big deal and I am sure if I did ask about it
