31 Place Kaiholo, nichée derriÚre la fameuse Fish House de Mama (merci de faire une réservation avant votre arrivée).

Cette maison dispose de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bains, salon, salle à manger, salle à manger, cuisine entiÚrement équipée, laveuse sécheuse, véranda couverte, bien équipée avec un barbecue et des siÚges pour 8 et une belle douche extérieure en bambou style Maui. La chambre principale est attachée à la maison principale mais a sa propre entrée privée et salle de bains pour une grande séparation de l'espace et de la vie privée. Il n'y a pas d'accÚs à la troisiÚme chambre de la maison principale. La maison dispose de nombreux ventilateurs pour agrémenter les vents alizés et la climatisation tout au long de ces douces soirées d'été.

La ville de Paia, qui abrite la baie de Paia et Baldwin Beach, est à seulement 1,6 km. Paia regorge de boutiques primées et d'excellents restaurants, notamment; Compagnie de pain plat, Milagros, Café Des Amis, lieu de musique de Charlies-live et beaucoup plus.

Nous sommes une promenade trÚs courte et tranquille à Mama's Beach et aux piscines de marée. Snorkel équipement est fourni pour nos clients pour voir les créatures colorées des piscines de marée et nager avec les tortues. S'il vous plaßt ne pas toucher ou nourrir ces belles créatures protégées connues à Hawaïens comme "Honu". Chaises de plage, planches de bodyboard, serviettes de plage
Chaise haute et Pack and Play sont Ă©galement fournis.

Le Kuau General Store, situé à quelques pas, propose une variété de plats allant du café, des sandwichs aux charcuteries aux favoris locaux comme Poke et tous les délicieux aliments crus sains que vous voulez.

De longues promenades romantiques sur la plage et une baignade dans l'eau calme peuvent ĂȘtre apprĂ©ciĂ©es Ă  proximitĂ© de la plage Baldwin & Baby juste aprĂšs la ville de Paia. Les cĂ©lĂšbres randonnĂ©es Twin Falls et Bamboo Forest de Maui sont Ă  seulement 15-25 minutes de route vers l'est sur la route de Hana. Bonus..Vous ĂȘtes Ă  seulement 2 heures de Hana immaculĂ©e!

The proximity of the house to a quiet beach that always had turtles was incredible. We also enjoyed walking through the neighborhood to the local store. The layout was perfect for our family that was traveling with a toddler and an infant plus a set of grandparents --- so nice to have the separate entrance for Grandma and Grandpa's room and big shared space for meals and hang out time. The outdoor shower and hose in the driveway was clutch to stay sand free. The host on island was incredibly responsive whenever we had questions and even offered us early check in. We loved the amenities around the house like snorkel gear, beach umbrella, cooler, boogie board, and six beach chairs to borrow... And the little things like scotch tape available to repair our toddler's ripped book (saved the day). The artwork in the house is unique and beautiful (check out the incredible painted surfboards). For coffee snobs like us, it was nice they provided not only a coffee pot and K-cups but also a French press. When we stayed, there were two pack and plays, a high chair, and a booster seat in the house. Wish we'd known that so we didn't lug ours 2,700 miles! Thanks for an amazing stay.

The house is just a short drive east along the Hana Highway from Paia, Maui, Hawai’i. The location is a very peaceful, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable vacation hideaway. A "baby beach" that is right off the Mama's Fish House (which was great!) is a natural breakwater jetty (modified by human hands) that protects the beach and swimming areas from the ferocious (and beautiful) Pacific Ocean waves. The beach and restaurant are absolutely gorgeous and family-friendly. Paia, by the way, has many shops and restaurants, and I found the food and service to be of high quality and the prices very reasonable.As for the house, we found it to be very “homey,” and that’s meant to be very much a favorable comment. The house is very comfortable with a great layout and has everything you could want. The walk to the beach is a veritable skip and a hop. The house does have in-window air conditioners, and they are more than adequate to keep you cool and comfortable. Appliances are new and complete to suit your domestic needs. Our son loved the separately entered guest room. With a nice outdoor patio, the house felt very spacious. We felt very much at home there and would stay again at this rental.Great place for a young (or older) family. Highly recommended!

Amazing VRBO rental in Paia

We had an outstanding vacation, and the house was perfect. The host had thought of all the little things that make a vacation go smoothly (especially when you are coming from 5,000 miles away!). Highly recommend any family looking for a VRBO near the Road to Hana

Short walk to Momma's beach - what a beautiful well protected little beach. We were able to see many sea turtles in the water and on the beach. The house was well equipped and comfortable - great overall stay!

Relaxing Stay at Lovely Beach House

This home was an ideal setting for four adults to visit a new grandchild who lives on Maui while enjoying Mama’s beach, accessible by a short walk, and the close proximity to Hookipa, Paia and Makawao. The lanai is beautifully furnished and very private, a perfect place to relax. Our host was very responsive to the few questions we had. We highly recommend this property.

While the house, location and property were all fantastic the best part of our stay was our interactions with the property manager and on-site manager. Both of these individuals were incredibly helpful and communicative. The on-site manager is a lovely individual and she helped our family navigate a more intimate and personal experience with the Island.

Living the Maui Life

Loved our little Hawaiian house and living like a local in Kuau/Paia. Home is a nice combo of traditional Hawaiian but updated where it counts, AC worked well when we needed it but I loved the louvered glass windows to allow in all the cool trade breezes. The entire home is nicely decorated with all things Hawaiian in a chic and understated way. Landscaping was lovely and the daybed on the lanai saw several naps! The Kitchen was well stocked, great coffee in the morning and even doing laundry which is outside as is norm in Hawaii, still felt like a vacation. So nice to go home with clean clothes in your suitcase! Property is in quiet little neighborhood just east of Paia and at the start of the Road to Hana. You can see roof of Mama's Fish House from the yard, so close but yet so far if you didn't book lunch or dinner 6 months in advance. But not to worry there is so much good food in Paia and in the various food truck parks. Cute shops too and it just felt more island authentic than Kihei/Wailea area. Home was a great base to make treks up to Haleakala, down to Hana or exploring in Haiku/Makawao. This trip we did sunset at Haleakala which I liked better than the sunrise. Take the beach chairs from the house, some drinks and snacks and you have a comfortable wait for the sunset. We also appreciated all the beach towels and snorkeling equipment. Mama's beach is a short stroll and must see for sunset. Local manager was a pleasure to work with and checked in with us when needed.

The perfect house

My family and I are not the type to go go go. It was nice to have such a lovely environment to come back to after we ventered out each day. On days when we were tired, we hung around the beautiful house, read one of the many books from their library or went to one of the nearby beaches 2-5 min from the house and watched the turtles or surfers and windsurfers. Eating out is very expensive in Maui so having a kitchen that we could stock and cook in was another definite plus. The house is fully stocked. They have shampoo, cond, hair drier, lotion, reef safe sunscreen, pots, pans, plates, silverware, tupperware, lots of towels, snorkeling gear, beach chairs. There is a washer and drier with detergent. I didn't need to bring anything and wished I had left a lot of stuff at home. There was a separate bedroom and bath for our teenager so he felt like he had some space. The property is beautifully landscaped with great family areas for hanging out and many private spots for when you want some time alone. We walked to Mamas Fish House for dinner. Get reservations! I suggest getting dramamine. It helps with car sickness along Hana highway, sea sickness if you go snorkeling and it helps a little with altitude sickness when visiting the volcano. The pharmacist said it should also help a little with allergies which was my experience as well. We really had a perfect stay and our time at this house was a big part of that.

Great stay and location

The house was perfect for our first time visiting Maui. Very comfortable for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and the beach. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Plenty of TP, shampoo, laundry soap, towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs and supplies. Beds were comfortable and the separate bedroom suite was perfect for two couples. The AC and ceiling fans were very nice. The barbecue grill was nice. We had an issue upon arrival and Kelly and Leah took care of it promptly which we were so grateful for! Close to the airport and never heard a plane fly over once since they take off miles down the road. Quiet neighborhood. The local Cafe Des Amis was delicious. The Tavares Beach was close by and had many turtles that we stopped by to watch from a distance. We would definitely recommend Hale Nanea!

Perfect Location and Property

Property was perfect for our family and I. Located not to far from the airport and the local businesses in Kahului made it very convenient. At the same time the drive to Hana was much shorter since we were already in the Paia town area. Property had everything we needed and the property manager was very attentive. Would definitely recommend this property to any family looking to really experience the Hawaiian lifestyle! Mama's fish house a definite plus... a must visit while staying here.
