Cette maison de plage hawaïenne d'époque est nichée dans une communauté privée fermée de Kona Bay Estates. Le style balnéaire simple dissipera tous vos soucis lorsque vous siroterez votre Mai Tai à l’ombre fraîche de la véranda couverte et profonde. Vivez la sensation d'être dans un autre endroit dans un autre temps. Tous les lits sont équipés d'un surmatelas confortable, le lit principal est doté d'un surmatelas en mousse à mémoire de forme de 2 pouces pour des nuits paisibles et agréables! Près de Kailua Pier où la pêche est bonne et les courses de canoë commencent! Iron Man commence et finit à proximité. Perfect Kona location

Just outside of town near the Kona Brewery in a gated community, this place was ideal for our group of 6. Ocean view with a short walk to a community sandy beach. The 3 bathrooms were key to our groups successful vacation!

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay here! Location was great! It’s definitely an older house that could use some updates but overall we didn’t have any issues. Be warned if you are tall the fans in the living room will hit you in the face.

Beautiful location

Home was as described. My only complaint would be the broken window slats need to be fixed. I was alone one night and didn’t feel secure as I couldn’t close some of the large windows. So, I didn’t sleep.

We spend most of our time relaxing on the patio, cooling off in the pool, and enjoying the beautiful view. The home is well equipped and the Knutson team are very easy and friendly to work with.

Clean place but needs an update

Overall, my stay was ok. The big issue is no AC. They need to invest an AC unit period. It would be ok if the property had good air flow from the beach but where the property sits, ZERO air flow so with no AC it was not fun. The surrounding houses block all the great wind from the Island. I was never 100% comfortable during my stay even the pool needs an update.

Respectfully, this was entirely marketed in the advertising of the property. This really is not fair to write such a negative review when we're 100% transparent about home condition and no AC.

Very clean and equipped for any and all to enjoy. Best bargain in Kona Bay Estates and the location on the water can't be beat. The pool is large and very private. Easy walking distance to most anything in Kona Town.

Hidden paradise

We were eight people and stayed at the condo during race week of the Ironman Hawaii. We were overwhelmed by the location, view and interior of the accomodation. It has everything we needed to make it a perfect time in Kailua-Kona. When we had 1-2 little issues (e.g. broken BBQ) the owner/agendy helped us immedatialey and super friendly. If we will come back to Kona one time this would be our first option for an accomodation. Thank you & mahalo!

And you can’t beat the location- just 20 minute walk to town. Knutson is easy to deal with - friendly and helpful. Best of all, Hale Pahukoa has a truly beautiful view!

Fun beach house with a pool and a view

We had a group of 6 adults and we all loved this house! The location was perfect with both sunrise and sunset views. It is close to town, but in a quiet, gated neighborhood right on the ocean. We spent a lot of time lounging on the covered back porch and in the pool. It was heavenly to have three full bathrooms! While we were there, some people walked by, said their grandfather owned the house in the 1980’s, and that it was the only home there at that time. The house itself is really cute inside and out. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a very comfortable and peaceful place to stay near Kona.

Don't expect luxury like some of the other higher priced homes in the neighborhood but it is a great value. It has a nice fridge, sink, and laundry. All the essentials that you need.

Being right off the beach it was wonderful to walk out to the ocean from the back door. The pool was great also. The children wanted to play in it all day. The lanai was wonderful to eat dinners on in the evening. The neighborhood cats were sweet to look at also. An added bonus for us! The description was spot on and our expectations were not let down.
