Belle retraite fluviale sur la Guadalupe !!

Si vous cherchez un merveilleux lieu de vacances en famille, c'est tout! Il s'agit d'une fantastique maison 4/3 pouvant accueillir de 12 à 14 personnes (veuillez noter que la maison est sur une fosse septique). Il y a un accès direct à la rivière par un court chemin, avec une belle plage pour jouer si vous ne voulez pas faire de tube sur la rivière. (Les tubes sont disponibles à la location juste à côté et ils vous ramèneront à la maison lorsque vous aurez terminé!) Vous pouvez également pêcher directement depuis la propriété et nous sommes dans la zone de pêche principale! La rivière est approvisionnée chaque année, donc la pêche est toujours bonne. Profitez également d'une vue fantastique sur la falaise depuis le très grand pont avant. La maison est entièrement meublée avec un salon / salle à manger / cuisine ouverte. Il y a de belles douches à l'italienne dans chacune des trois salles de bain. Il y a WiFi, câble et un barbecue privé. Il y a aussi une salle de table de ping-pong en bas. Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse et un ensemble complet d'appareils de cuisine en acier inoxydable. Fournitures de cuisine de base, y compris, assiettes, ustensiles, casseroles et poêles de base et ustensiles de cuisine, sont fournis. Les draps sont fournis pour chaque lit, mais vous devrez apporter des serviettes et laver les vêtements, la nourriture et le charbon de bois pour les grillades.

Si vous aimez la musique live, l'établissement est à une courte distance en voiture de River Road Ice House et de Gruene Hall. Si vous aimez les antiquités, la propriété est à 10 minutes des villes de New Braunfels et Gruene, qui regorgent de boutiques d'artisanat anciennes et uniques.

Great Large Family River Retreat!

We celebrated our son’s graduation with family over Memorial weekend. House had plenty of parking and the outdoor seating areas were really nice. The downstairs game room and bedroom had a slight cobweb problem, but that was an easy fix. We enjoyed the ping pong table and being able to lock up our gear in the game room at night. The house was very comfortable, stayed nice and cool, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. (We brought our own linens as instructed.). We agree the pots and pans could use a refresh, they were very scratched with mismatch lids. The bluetooth sound system was a nice perk but couldn’t really use it outside. The Mountain Breeze Campground next door had a very loud DJ playing music all weekend. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs-they partied until 3am each night. (Obviously, not much anyone can do about that!). The evening laser light show on the bluffs from the opposite campground was entertaining. The river was not super low, but it did not seem to have much of a flow. The water was foamy and murky and we saw a few snakes coming from a nearby brush pile. We chose to pay for a day pass and swim down the road at a more shallow section of the river. This area experienced a good rain after we left, so it could have improved the river conditions. Overall, this was an excellent stay. We made great memories and would recommend this house to family and friends that travel together!

Great Property with excellent access to the river

River trip with a large group of friends. This property was perfect as it is spacious, spleeps 14, and is a short walk to one of the river tubing outfitters. I will be back!

Fun, relaxed atmosphere

We stayed in River Villa #6 for a quick family getaway and the experience was great. Easy river access, clean and relaxed atmosphere and convenient location to nearby hot spots. Would definitely recommend trying this place.

Great weekend trip!

We hosted by future brother in law’s bachelor party here and had a great time! It was perfect set up with plenty of space. The walk to the water is not too far and is a fun hang out spot! Would definitely go stay there again!

Clean with great river avcess

This house is part of a community of like houses, mostly rentals. The house worked well for my family of 12, ages 8 to 73. Large open kitchen/living space. The equipment in the kitchen could use some refresh, especially the cookware, but there is plenty of space for storing food, etc while there. Although the rental promises internet, we never had access during our 3-day stay. The manager, without my asking, gave us a 10% compensation, which I completely appreciate. Although the river was too low for "rafting", the access is beach like and there was plenty of water there to enjoy. The kids had a great time floating and paddle boarding. We would come back. Thanks.

Great New Braunfels River Trip Rental!

This is a great rental for your river trip. Clean, easy, spacious, and walking distance to tube rentals & river access. Everything was exactly as expected. Hosts are friendly and accommodating with good communication. Don’t forget your towels and toiletries though! It is noted in the description, but we still forgot. :)

spring break

Went on vacation for spring break with my whole family. The place was awesome and clean. it is a gated area with about 10 houses around. And no one can come in unless they have the code. Therefore, it is super safe and the direct access to the Guadalupe river was excellent. This is definitely a place we would come back to. (:

Great spot

House was very nice and was super easy to check in and get there. We thought the house would be directly in-front of the river which it wasn’t. Some of the houses are and it’s a very short walk to the river inside a nice gated community which was nice! Plenty of room for our family of 11. Kids had a blast. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

July Family Stay

We rented the house for Monday through Friday in July. We had six adults and one infant traveling with us. There was plenty of seating area both inside and out. The house had been freshly cleaned prior to arrival. It was very well stocked with everything we needed, including movies and board games for rainy days. The only negative we had during our trip was a group of tent campers that moved in the the adjacent location and the noise was close to the master bedroom. Overall a great trip, and we will definitely return.

Good house

House was nice, no towels what so ever, had to go down the street and buy towels, and then there was a rave at mount breeze the first night that went till 6am the next morning. Didn’t get any sleep.

Convenient for Tubing

Great stay for our family. Tidy neighborhood along the river and friendly fellow vacationers. The huge front porch was wonderful. No river view but the view of the hills across the river was pretty and river access was very close down the hill to the right and simply walking next door through a gate to CaPs Crossing to go tubing was a bonus. ($20/person cash only) House had everything we needed for a comfortable stay . There were linens and pillows on each bed, extra pillows in closets, kitchen has towels too - just bring any bathroom towels and washcloths you’ll need and food to cook. All appliances worked well. We found Camp chairs in the ping pong room, games in the family room, grills, a picnic table and even one river tube to use. Decent yard space outside for corn hole, etc. Summer weekends are noisy- the campgrounds on both sides have music going into the wee hours. If you want a quiet stay, book Sunday-Wednesday. 4 stars only because some areas like the front porch really need a good scrubbing and little things like batteries missing from remotes and smoke detector, missing lightbulbs, master shower getting tepid but not hot, couch’s left recliner being broken and not being able to get the TV or surround sound speakers to work (which stimulated more family time and conversation and we didn’t miss it) were minor drawbacks. On the whole we really really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property!

Great time had by all

We would definitely come back to stay again. The place was clean and in a pretty decent location. It is not on the river, nor can you see the river from the place, but river is just a short walk away. It worked out well for our big group. The only complaint that we had was that the shower in the master bath did not have hot water...although the other 2 showers did.

Located in a sea of parking lot

The property is near the river, but does not have a view of the river. It’s balcony overlooks other houses and driveway/parking. Management was kind to alert us to an heirloom quilt that our party left behind, and to return it to us. Sadly, this property is in much need of a deep clean and kitchen inventory refresh and restock. The larger sofa is broken, and an additional sofa would be great for large groups. Not all the lamps had lightbulbs. Over all we enjoyed our get together.

Dirty & Disappointed

We will not stay here again - it is not clean and severely lacking in hospitality. The downstairs bathroom and shower were obviously not cleaned at all before we arrived. There was trash still on the downstairs bedside table. Despite the rule of taking everything with you when you leave, there was crap left everywhere in the cupboards. ALL of the mattress covers were seriously disgusting (we noticed because you have to strip your bed in a very strict way according to their rules). They only supply "linens"; you can't use the comforters or pillows in the pictures - from the state of the place, we guessed this is because they do not wash them. "Linens" is a loose term because there were no top sheets on ANY of the bunk beds. The kitchen floor was dirty and crusty around the stove. No hot water in the master bathroom. No batteries in the master bedroom tv remotes. Overall, this place was a big disappointment. They have an extensive rule book that contradicts itself. You have to have your sound off by 11am, but neighbors partied til the late hours. The location close to the river (a short walk away, NOT in the backyard) is good, but it does not make up for a place being dirty, during COVID-19!! I guess it is fine for college students, but not families or professional adults looking for a nice getaway. There are better, cheaper places on the river.
