The unit at Waipouli was so spacious, well appointed and clean, it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool was great as was the beach. We enjoyed the mountain views.

Location to pool and BBQ grills was great! Worked well for our stay. The only negative was that we couldn’t figure out the ice machine in the freezer. Otherwise, very happy with our accommodations.

Property was great. Centrally located in Kaua’i so we were able to split time going North and South. I only gave it a 4 star due to property not being ready at check in time. Pool was great for the kids. Beach was not swimmable during our stay more so due to weather and conditions. Unit was really clean and having essentially two masters was great with girls. Grounds were great and being centrally located made our time there a breeze.

This was an outstanding place for us. The setup of the condo with 2 king ensuites was perfect for two adult couples. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were huge. The kitchen is quite large was well stocked with all of the dishes, utensils and appliances we needed. The pool was awesome with tons of lounge chairs. Would have been nice if there were more umbrellas that were for the lounge chairs rather than for the tables, but it was fine. Just thankful that there were so many chairs. Also, working with the management company was so easy, and they were extremely quick to respond. Would definitely stay there again. It was a fantastic experience.

A piece of paradise

What a great vacation spot! Beautiful condo and property with an awesome pool. Our unit was fantastic but was minimally stocked compared to our friends units in the same complex. Not a knock on this condo as we would love to come back. It’s just something to be aware of and to come prepared for.

Great experience!

We booked this resort 100% last minute when we shifted our trip to Kauai (from Maui). It was clean, great amenities for the kids (FUN pool), right on beach, very centrally located in Kapp'a and easy to get to places. Our condo was super spacious, which becomes more important to us as our kids get older (14 and 12, now)... having laundry and a full working kitchen was excellent. A couple nits- pool bar/restaurant opens late (maybe 3 pm) and chairs near beach could use some updating. Overall a great trip and would recommend to others.

If you want to beach hop and explore the island, this place may not be for you. (Not provided beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc.)If you are a family with kids and want to hang out at a resort type place, this is for you. Room is clean and comfortable. However in one of the picture descriptions it says “living room over looking ocean” which is not accurate. There is a view of the parking lot. It would be helpful if they had a small basket of items previous guests could leave for kitchen. Only thing provided was small bag of coffee and granola. Had to buy sugar, cooking oil, and a few other small items when using kitchen.

Perfect for fam of 5

Two adults in master, two children in one bedroom an another had living room to self. All had own tv’s, space, bathrooms. Perfect for nearly two week vaca with family. Location is perfect: Across the street from Safeway which has a pharmacy, shave ice, ice cream, restaurants, clothing stores and tourist store. Also a Ross is in the complex across the street in case you forgot anything like flip-flops or shorts. Highly recommend placing a Safeway grocery store “to go” order in the days leading up to your trip so you can pick up your order the day of or day after you arrive and all your groceries are already packed up and waiting for you.

Amazing Time in Kauai

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came on a "last trip" with our 4 children before our son gets married and our twins start college in August. We have been to Kauai before--7 years ago and 5 years ago and also stayed at the Waipouli then. It's such a great location. My ONLY complaint is that the beds are getting old. Our sagged to the middle so badly that it was uncomfortable--and every time we've been we have gone to WalMart to buy a fan for the bedroom. That would be so nice to have. Otherwise, it's clean, perfect location, beautiful amenities.

Beautiful location and unit. 1)We never got an email or a text to check in so I had to call Kauai Exclusive to get the email. 2) We reported the ice maker in the fridge not working and some of the plugs in the master bedroom to the left not working, it never got fixed the day reported. We never got a call back on my phone..I called on the 2nd day in the morning on this status again asking and they said someone would come and switch out a part. The person came to do this in the morning on the third day but no ice ever came out of the sub zero fridge. The guy also claimed the plugs were fixed that it had something to do with the fuse box. Last but not least, my wife told this maintenance guy that there was an alarm of some sort sounding which was going off the entire stay possibly from the next unit?. We couldn't hear it after going into the bedroom but it was definitely noticeable in the common living room. Other than not having ice (they did bring up some plastic containers later on for us to fill with water to make our own ice. Other than these problems the unit was nice.

Great condo

The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location between the north shore and south shore allowed us to enjoy both of those areas without too much driving. The pool was a lot of fun with several waterfalls and a slide.

Perfect for our family vacation

The place was very clean and well appointed. Location of the complex is great and the unit location is good - not the best views but quiet and convenient. The interior is all high quality all the way around. Kids loved the pool. Steps to the beach for sunrise. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved it - perfect for family vacation

The interior is very well appointed, high-quality everything (appliances, furniture, beds, construction, etc). The room is very well insulated for noise - we didn't hear anything or anyone outside our room when doors/windows were closed. The location at first seems a little disappointing as the view is meh, but, we soon appreciated the quiet, easy access, shielded from direct wind (it was really windy all week), etc. Nothing negative to report. Couple things that might be helpful to know: I don't know if it is a covid thing or what but there was zero food stuff (e.g., salt/pepper, other spices etc) so be prepared to get everything you need to cook. There are no extras like boogie boards, pool toys, beach toys, etc. like some condos (in the same complex) offer. We didn't need or expect any of this so really didn't impact us.

Great unit!! Only negative was the lack of soap, laundry detergent and dishwasher soap. We run the dishwasher and do laundry daily and there was only enough for 2 days worth…
