Le complexe se compose d'une villa traditionnelle, avec toutes les commodités modernes, construite dans notre domaine de 30 000 m2, où vous pourrez vous détendre dans l'intimité et la tranquillité absolues. Nous sommes fiers de présenter la seule piscine de source naturelle à Corfou, où vous pourrez vous rafraîchir et vous détendre.

Ländlich gelegene Wohnung mit Badestelle

Die Wohnung im Obergeschoss der Villa war sehr sauber und geräumig (3 Schlafzimmer, Wohnraum, Küche und Arbeitszimmer) - auch bei unserer Ankunft waren zahlreiche Vorräte plus Begrüßungskorb vorhanden. Wundervoll! Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, doch stilecht. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und haben sich sehr liebevoll um uns gekümmert und waren jederzeit ansprechbar. Die Unterkunft ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Bei unserem Aufenthalt im Juli war es dafür allerdings zu heiß. Auch wimmelte es von Wespen und Hornissen, was den Aufenthalt in dem bezaubernden Garten teils schwierig machte. Der "Pool" ist eher eine Badestelle, da nur knietief bis hüfthoch und naturbelassen. Erwachsenen bietet er jedoch eine wundervolle Erfrischung. Der nächste Strand ist nur wenige Kilometer entfernt, die Fahrt dauert bei den engen Straßen trotzdem einiges an Zeit. Kein Dorf, Bäcker, Supermarkt fußläufig zu erreichen, was bei der Lage aber auch klar sein dürfte. Unsere Empfehlung für Familien mit kleineren Kindern daher allerdings nur eingeschränkt.

Lovely house in peaceful location

As others have said, Kamarella is an absolutely beautiful property and Maria is an excellent host, for whom nothing is too much trouble. In 25 years of villa holidays, we have never arrived in such a well-equipped villa! Everything we could possibly need for several days was provided, including wine and sweet treats. The bathrooms were equipped with many of the things I'd brought from home, and there were plenty of towels and flannels etc. Even citronella candles to keep the mosquitos at bay were provided for us. It was exceptional. The villa was very clean and kept that way throughout our stay. I will mention two things - not as gripes, but because I would have liked to know before our trip. First, the Wifi is incredibly slow (140kbps) and not available throughout the villa. If you like to watch Netflix to fall asleep, this is not possible. If you have teenagers who like to stream in their down time, this is not possible. There is a repeater in the villa, which improved the signal enough for us to get Wifi on the terrace, but only intermittently. If you want a nice, disconnected holiday, then this obviously won't be an issue. The other is that the pool is very shallow. It is beautiful and fantastic to float around on a lilo, but the fun of jumping into a pool repeatedly is not possible if you're over 5ft tall. My teenage son was very sad about this and also about the fact that swimming the length of the pool wasn't possible without scraping your knees. I also scraped my knees (I am 5ft 7in). If you have older children who like to mess about in the water, this pool is probably not going to give them what they need. We really enjoyed our stay, and the views from the terrace are unbelievably beautiful, as the light changes every day. The estate is really quiet, so you can enjoy the local wildlife, and at night you can sit and listen to the scops owls calling to each other across the valley. The villa is only 15 minutes away from Agios Gordios, with it's beautiful beach, and Korfu town and the larger supermarkets are within 15-20 minutes drive, should you need them. I have already recommended this villa to people, and would definitely visit again. Thank you Maria for a lovely stay.

Amazing character house with stunning views

We were staying in Kamarella with two children - 4.5 years old and 20 months. We were trying to find a place that will be different from others, not commercial , where we can experience real Corfu and at the same time where our children can enjoy themselves.....and we were so lucky to book Kamarella! A true house with a soul! Maria, the owner - she welcomed us at the airport and it was so nice, we felt as if we came to visot part of our family. She is lovely, very helpful and she would do everything to make you feel home at Kamarella. She bought a few new stuff for our baby girl and our older daughter such as new cot, baby chair and toys, which was really kind of her. She even prepared a teaddy bear bed set for our girl, it was so nice of her. My children fell in love with Maria and were always happy to see her when she was around to bring us some fresh fruit, veg etc. There are stunning views from the propery, very green. Even better then in pictures!!! When you swim in a pool, surrounded by beautiful mountains, you just feel as if you were in patadise. As the description says, you need a car for your stay but there is only a short drive to the beaches or other places of interest or amazing restaurants. We were with two small children but still managed to see most of the beautiful places of the Island without rushing too much. You are rouhly in the middle of the island so to get to the furthest places of interest would take no longer then an hour. We loved Kamarella's location. The house is amazing, we just felt as if we are not on holiday but just live there. Our children were amazed with the place and had so much to discover and explore. The house is surrounded by a beautiful land with fruit trees and vegetables. Almost every evening our children qnd us went for a long walk around the property picking up oranges, tomatos, cucumbers and so on. The pool has clean , fresh water and on hot days is very refreshing. There is absolutely everything is the house -from toiletries, baby wipes to make up removal wipes :-) Maria thought of everything and if you need anything she will make sure you have what you need. We had perfect holiday at Kamarella! Lots of lovely memories for life. Don't hesitate to book this propery for your holiday! If you have kids, they will have time of their life there! If you after all inclusive - big no - the food in local places is haven and you don't need to cook if you don't want to. Thank you Maria! xxxx

A beautiful house in fantastic surroundings with amazing views.

Maria was so welcoming and helpful, we had a wonderful time here. We felt like we were in paradise, eating fruit straight from the trees right next to the spring water pool. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Stunning view, in a wonderful location.

Firstly it is more like 4.5 to 4.75 Stars. Being met before we got to the property was a great help, as it would have been quite difficult,even with the good map we had, to find. The welcoming bowl of fruit and local treats were great. We had a wonderful time there from the 8th to 14th of October. We had from glorious sun to torrential rain, the rain passed quite quickly. I did swim with the toad in the pool at 22 degrees centigrade on the last day but we mainly swam it the sea which was a bit warmer. The pool would have come into its own, earlier in the year. For cat lovers it is wonderful, my wife counted up to 17. The garden is extensive and full of Olive, Walnut, Sharon Fruit, Grapefruit, Orange, Lemon and Tangerine Trees. The Walnuts and Sharon Fruit were ripe for our visit, delicious. The property is on the Corfu Trail, so is a good place to walk from. One of the many ruined monasteries is near by and worth a visit on foot from the house. The local restaurant is very good serving a small menu of local food, done particularly well. At the local shop they are very helpful and even came round to the house with something I had left in the shop. A car is a must, unless you are very keen cyclists. Overall a great place to explore Corfu from with Maria making good suggestions as to what was happening on the island.
