An enjoyable holiday but many health and safety hazards at the Villa such as many different levels and steps not always easy to see. The pool was very deep and only suited to confident swimmers. The main hazard was the walk from the Villa to the shops/tavernas. The road is very busy especially during the day and there is no pavement or lighting at night. Quite a daunting experience just to get some shopping! Although I enjoyed the holiday, I would choose a different location if I were to go back to Corfu.
A great property for a larger group or 2 families with a separate annex. The property was as described and comfortably furnished. The pool is a good size and plenty deep enough for adults but may be a bit deep for smaller children although there is a a shallower area. The view from the villa is beautiful and there is a lot to do in the area with tavernas and beaches within walking distance although the hill up from the beach is a challenge for the less fit! A car is required really if you want to see outside the local area although there are buses to and from Corfu Town and a small but well stocked supermarket a 10 minute walk away but you wouldn't want to carry too much back. Everyone we met was really friendly and welcoming and most spoke reasonable English. I would definitely go back!!
This villa has the most amazing view over the bay to Corfu Town and it was wonderful to wake up to this every day. There is a beautiful and clean pool and the villa is a good size and very private. However the fixtures and fittings let it down - broken shower heads, broken AC controls, broken pool net, hard beds and pillows, very old white electric goods. Management was not great either - I asked for a welcome pack with toilet roll and also contacted the property manager to say we were delayed - on arrival close to midnight after travelling all day there was not a single toilet roll in the whole property. If i had not asked for water I doubt we would have had any of that. The bread was put in the bread bin and was covered in ants. We have stayed in villas all over Europe and this was the worst equipped one we have ever been too - such a shame as it could be lovely. It is managed by Agni Travel and I would not use them again. However we loved Corfu and the area had great restaurants and supermarkets, as well as a beautiful beach all in walking distance.
Lovely clean villa, also the little one bedroom apartment to the side of the villa was very lovely and clean, very well equipped with plates, cups etc , the pool was cleaned on a regular basis, and the owner popped in to see us too, would highly recommend this place, beautiful views overlooking the sea, lovely and quiet, a short walk to the shops and restaurants, very friendly in all the restaurants, would highly recommend this place.

We had a fabulous holiday. This is the sixth time we have been to NE Corfu with Agni Travel and always have a lovely holiday. The area is beautiful, the views spectacular. We love Barbati and Kaminaki beaches. We love hiring a boat from Kaminaki and going to Agni Taverna for lunch, stopping off to swim and snorkel on the way. We enjoy sitting around the pool looking at the spectacular views.
We had a great week away at Villa Sofia. The view from the Villa was amazing and overall property was great! The owner was very welcoming and always assisted us if we needed anything throughout the week. The local shops and taverns are only a short walk away and all of the employees are so kind and helpful. would definitely love to visit again next year!

It was great. We had a wonderful time. The local tavernas provided excellent value and the locals were very friendly. Corfu is beautiful and has become my holiday destination choice for the past few years.

My daughter had just returned from a gap year in Australia to celebrate her return I wanted to have a family holiday particularly as I'm not sure when we will all get the chance to do It again So Dad, son, daughter, respective partners and my mother set off...... I have to say I had some trepidation first time in Corfu and first time all together. My partner had packed his Valium We arrived on the Island tick.... absolutely beautiful. Next we arrived at Villa Sofia the pictures do not do it justice. The terraces were covered in olive trees and bougainvillea. The view out across the Ionian was mesmerising and will be one of the abiding memories of the holiday. The villa itself was spacious which worked very well clean and well furnished the dishwasher and washing machine adding a real bonus. Finally the pool.... With its views and size it worked brilliantly as the centrepiece of our holiday. Kaminaki beach is a stunning small beach village and Taverna Vitamins allowed for spectacular views and delicious traditional Greek food. The holiday was a real success ( no Valium required). We would thoroughly recommend Villa Sofia.

Corfu is a beautiful island and we were able to find many secluded spots. Villa Sofia is nicely situated that you can walk to at least four different beaches - quite a bonus when the roads are pretty hair-raising when you are not used to driving a left hand car on the right side of the road. Villa Sofia is also within walking distance of three Tavernas and a small supermarket and bakery which was brilliant and again saved us taking a car out at night. However we were four fit adults and it would not have been so easy with small children or anyone older. We had beautiful weather and so swam and snorkeled every day. I would love to return in spring time and walk into the centre of the island .

We had a superb second week at the villa Sophia. It was a delight to meet Sophia the wonderful elderly lady that owes the property. The view from the villa were stunning, excellent air conditioning in the bedrooms. We hired a car just to potter around, amazing small coves to explore but you will need a car that can get you up and down the hilly terrine. We had 8 adults in our party and the villa was big enough for everyones needs. When we needed anything the owners were a phone call away and came straight away. Agni Travel were first class with their communication through the booking and our stay.

Villa Sofia is a nice and comfortable place to stay. It has lovely view, nice pool and great barbecue zone where you can sit in the day and in the evening. Location is great too - you can reach supermarket and tavernas on foot. I liked my vacation in villa Sofia very much.
