Our own car is a Mercedes E300 Estate and we turn it without trouble. In case it helps, we turn by using the gravel either between the house and the garage or on the gate side of the garage to drive into or reverse into. Dear Bob, Thank very much for your time in writing this nice review. I am very glad that you enjoyed our renovations, and that you appreciated the wonderful, peaceful setting and fantastic views. I think you must have some wonderful photographs! In answer to your points the staircase is a broad (about 1m wide) staircase in the spacious entrance hall. So it is certainly not narrow, and nor does it ascend rapidly. It is actually much wider and easier to use than most staircases, because our house was built in the days when things were solid and spacious! On the bath, we went to considerable expense to keep and refurbish the large, full-length bath. It is a real, original cast iron enamelled bath worth over £2000. We took it out, and insulated it specially underneath before reinstalling it, so that it retains heat. Most of our guests love this! Because the bath is a restored genuine item, the sides of course are higher than a small modern bath as baths were at that time. I asked you what you meant about the closet, but received no reply., and so I am puzzled! The closets/wardrobes are of course always open, and available in all three bedrooms. So thank you again for your nice review, and I hope these comments are helpful.
