We had a wonderful week at the house. Lucky with the wether sun 6 of 7 days, so a lot of time at the pool, that was nice. The terrace with a view of the sea was amazing.Marcos parents was very helpful. Marco himself was extremly quick to answer any questions.

Spectacular place to stay

The entire property was extremely well cared for with lovely furnishings, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds , a terrific view from patio. We spent wonderful afternoons in the great pool. Marco’s mother was our very kind & thoughtful host. We thank her. The road up to the home is narrow, winding & very curvy about .5 mile

Beautiful and relaxing setting. The hosts were lovely and helpful. In addition to advice on local tourism and restaurants were treated with fresh produce from their orchard out back. We always looked forward to returning to the Villa after a day of exploring the local sites. Note that getting to the villa requires a car and a comfort level in driving Sicilian back roads. Make sure you arrive in the day time.

Property located adjacent to very old olive tree orchard. Scenic mountain back drop with ocean view. Spacious upstairs flat with full amenities. Beautiful pool and garden in the yard. Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!

Comfortable stay with beautiful views!

Marco’s place was very clean and neat, and we slept very comfortably there (comfortable beds and A/C). The bathrooms are both recently updated, which we appreciated. The views are truly panoramic and we saw some amazing sunsets. The pool is very nice, and we enjoy eating dinner on the large patio every night. Marco was a good host too, always prompt to answer questions and make recommendations and very friendly. I gave 3 stars for the location. The towns Trabia/Termini Imerese where the house is located are not the most picturesque towns along the coast though we found the location reasonable enough for day trips to Cefalu, Scopello, Agrigento, Trapani with longish drives to and from. The house is also close to the autostrada which you can hear from the house. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

A family sized slice of La Dolce Vita

Wonderful week away at Villa Silvia with family. The property was immaculately clean, air con in all areas inside, pool was cleaned regularly throughout the week and the gardens around the property were lovingly maintained. We loved the location (Il Bragone Ristorante is a hidden GEM!) and the proximity to the beach was a massive bonus. We had some fantastic walks in the area throughout the week & it was so nice to be able to take the short trip up into the hills to Caccamo Castle. The pool was truly wonderful, we loved playing in the water everyday as 5 adults ranging in age from 26-61! The hosts were truly incredible, Marco, Silvia and Matteo were so kind to us & helped us with the any questions we had. Silvia & Matteo gave us a warm welcome with a beautiful apple & honey cake, a bottle of red wine & some fresh tomatoes from their garden! Marco kept us supplied with fantastic recommendations that made us feel like we had our very own secret guide to Sicily! We truly felt like we were welcomed into their family, nothing else to say than this was the perfect place for a wonderful family holiday & we truly experienced a slice of La Dolce Vita.

Feel Welcome in Villa Bragone

We have spent 14 days at this lovely Place. The Villa Bragone was really beautiful, clean, and spacious. Due to Business unfortunately Marco was not there personally, but we get in touch with him via WLAN whenever we want. Our Hosts, Marcos parents, Silvia and Matteo , are the most friendly and warm -hearted people we ever met. They fullfil us every wish we had and gave us delicous sicilian meals, fruits from the garden, sweets, cakes, icecream, vegetables, wine and more and more...from the first til the last Minute we were in Trabia. We have to say a BIG BIG Thank You once again. It was such a wonderful Stay at this Villa and we hope we keep in touch with Silvia, Matteo and Marco and return to Trabia in the future. If you want relaxing holidays, you have to visit Villa Bragone! We recommend it. GO! But do not forget your car.

It was a great Pleasure host Raheela in my Villa, she's one of the best guest I ever had. My parents really enjoyed the time spent together and had the opportunity to show the real sicilian hospitality, making a unique experience. Hope to host again Raheela always welcomed in my place.

We were two families (8 persons, kids in ages 3-8) that spent one week in Marcos house. The house is clean and spacious and comes with everything that is needed for the stay. The pool area is great for both adults and kids. Dinners and evenings are very nice to spend on the big terrace with an impressive view over the landscape and sea. When arriving Marco was welcoming and also helpful with different things throughout the week. His lovely parents live on the first floor of the house and was also very helpfull when needed. The house is surrounded by big cultivation areas and his parents was generous with giving us fresh tomatoes and home made lemon granita. From the house it is easy to reach both Trapani and Termini Imerese for excursions and shopping. We also visited Cefalù for one day, which is only one hour drive. The autostrada passes by close to the house and makes some noise, but nothing that was disturbing to us. Only thing to put on the wish list is some more equipment in the kitchen since we cooked most of our own meals. The beds are very hard, but that tend to be a thing here and not just for this place (compared to Scandinavian beds). Between 2-4 in the afternoon every day it is siesta and we were asked to be a bit more quiet. We found it a little bit annoying the first day since the kids wanted to be outside and play, but for the other days it matched our lunch time and paus from the sun. All in all we had a great week and can warmly recommend a stay there

Nice flat and wonderful people!

We were welcomed by Marcos parents with cake, fresh lemons from the garden, plums, homemade jams and much more - and so it went on throughout our holiday. The apartment is located high on a hill with sweeping views of the sea. Lovely apartment and great terrace. Clean, neat and with everything you need. We were invited to watch the World Cup with Silvia and Matthew, who were the most hospitable and friendly people I have met. They did everything they could to make our holiday extra special - they even made nice Italian dinner for all of us. We recommend very much Villa Bragone to other tourists, and - like previous guests -we recommend to rent a car. Without it, you are a little lost! :-) Thanks to Marco, Silvia and Matthew from Nina, Astrid, Nils, Poul Erik and Inge We were welcomed by Marcos parents with cake, fresh lemons from the garden, plums, homemade jams and much more - and so it went on throughout our holiday. Excellent accueil, villa très propre et agréable. Les enfants et les adultes ont profité à fond de la piscine. La famille de Marco est toujours à l'écoute. Matteo est de venu copain avec mon petit-fils. J'y retournerai.

Wer Ruhe und Privatsphäre sucht, ist hier falsch. Leider stimmt die Beschreibung nicht mit der Realität überein.Zum Strand sind es etwa 20 Minuten mit dem Auto.Die Eltern des Eigentümers leben in einer Wohnung unter der Ferienwohnung. Die Eltern sind zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit im Garten und am Pool unterwegs um irgendwas zu tun. An einem Tag wurden wir darüber informiert, dass die Oliven geerntet werden und fremde Menschen mit schwerem Gerät im Garten arbeiten. Für uns war Entspannung am Pool oder auf der Terrasse so nicht möglich. Wir kamen uns sehr überwacht vor.Das Haus liegt direkt unterhalb der Autobahn. So laut ist es dann jeden Tag und auch nachts. Zusätzlich leben die Hunde der Nachbarn am Balkon nebenan und bellen auch mal mehrere Stunden durchgängig.Genau wie in der Beschreibung und den Kommentaren zuvor ist das Haus sehr sauber und der Garten gepflegt. Die Kommunikation mit Marco war etwas schleppend, manchmal bekam ich Informationen zu spät oder gar nicht. Seine Eltern sind durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen begrüßt. Nachts kann man das Haus kaum zu Fuß verlassen, da der Weg ins Dorf nicht beleuchtet ist. Die beiden Rottweiler eines Nachbarn liefen abends alleine auf dem Weg herum.

Es tut uns leid, Ihre Bewertung zu lesen, aber wir müssen mehrere falsche Behauptungen klarstellen: Der Strand Pietra Piatta ist nur 800 m entfernt – Sie haben offenbar einen anderen besucht. Sie erhielten kostenlosen Early Check-in. Der Pool ist laut Beschreibung ab Ende Oktober geschlossen. Im November ist Olivenernte – unser Öl wird Gästen angeboten und geschätzt. Die Hunde stammten nicht von uns; wir informierten sofort die Polizei, die sie abholte. Unsere Eltern pflegen den Garten, damit Gäste frisches Obst und Gemüse genießen können. Babybett und Hochstuhl wurden kostenlos bereitgestellt. Die ruhige Lage ist nicht für nächtliche Spaziergänge gedacht – wie in der Beschreibung erwähnt. Wir haben schnell geantwortet und Standortdaten per WhatsApp geschickt. Leider haben Sie die Wohnung in einem inakzeptablen Zustand hinterlassen: Sand war überall – auf Matratzen, in Kissen, Schubladen, allen Räumen und sogar auf der Terrasse. Die Küche war extrem schmutzig, der Boden klebrig, das gesamte Apartment verwahrlost. Wir akzeptieren ehrliches Feedback, aber falsche Aussagen und respektloses Verhalten gegenüber unserer Unterkunft sind nicht hinnehmbar.

Leider unglaublich laute Straße direkt am Haus

Die Gastgeber und auch das Haus waren wirklich super. Wir wurden mit frisch gebackenen Kuchen und Früchte aus dem Garten begrüßt und haben sogar selbstgemachtes Zitronen Granita bekommen. Unser Urlaubsgefühl wurde aber leider total durch die mit LKWs im Sekundentakt befahrene eng am Grundstück vorbeiführende Straße getrübt. Am Pool konnte man wegen der Lautstärke überhaupt nicht entspannen und auch auf der großen Terasse hat man die lauten Autos gehört. Die Straße war auch nachts stark befahren, was man in den Zimmern hören konnte. Wirklich sehr schade, da das Haus sonst sehr schön war. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass das in der Anzeige irgendwie angedeutet gewesen wäre.

Dear Laura your review, left me speechless after so many things we did for you and your family to make your stay more comfortable. I even gave High chair and baby coat for your kids free of charge and gave indications for anything in the area to support your beach search and more. What are you saying about the noise is something subjective and not related to the property or the quality of the apartment. The house has been fully renovated with new windows that are isolating completely the sound and there is a very Minimum noise. I do believe that you can be more sensitive to the sound compared to other people however such review doesn't respect the full service you received. I'm really disappointed.

Was für ein schönes Haus! In der Villa Silvia verbrachten wir als Paar Ende Mai / Anfang Juni zwei tolle Wochen. So hatten wir uns den Urlaub erträumt. Die Villa ist geräumig, geschmackvoll und funktional eingerichtet, meist hielten wir uns draussen auf, die riesige Veranda mit Panoramablick aufs Meer, die Küste und die Berge ist aussergewöhnlich schön. Man sieht, dass alles mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt hergerichtet wurde, so dass wir uns rundum wohl fühlten. Es hat viele Möglichkeiten, sich entweder in der Sonne oder im Schatten aufzuhalten. Und dann der grosse Pool und der schöne Garten! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, etwas Anschluss zu haben. Die Privatsphäre ist jederzeit gegeben. Silvia und Matteo waren mit Tipps und Erklärungen sehr hilfreich und überraschten uns mit Köstlichkeiten aus dem Garten, eigenem Olivenöl oder selbstgebackenem Apfelkuchen. Wir haben sie als offene und sympathische Gastgeber erlebt, die wir jederzeit gerne wiedersehen würden. Vom Haus aus kann man schöne Ausflüge mit dem Auto unternehmen oder ab Termini Imerese den Zug nehmen, empfehlenswert bspw. für einen Trip nach Palermo. Wir sind froh, haben wir uns für die Villa Silvia entschieden. Mille grazie a Silvia e Matteo per la loro ospitalità, ci è davvero piaciuto stare con voi a Villa Silvia!

Lovely location

Nice house, lovely garden and pool area, quiet neighbourhood between two towns, sea and mountain views. We shared the outside space with the owners parents who live downstairs, which we didn't know before, but they were very sweet and friendly and generous with produce from their impressive large garden! Narrow bumpy roads to get to the house. Host really helpful with local information. Beautiful area with lots of places to visit, need a car.

Hus med privat pool + havsutsikt

Välplanerad bostad, övervåning i stort 2-planshus. Rejäl terrass med briljant utsikt mot hav på ena sidan och berg på andra sidan. A/C i alla sovrum samt vardagsrum, två badrum/toaletter....allt i mycket bra skick. Solstolar, hammock, matbord, stolar i mängder...inget problem att bo 6 pers här, även 8 funkar nog fint. Fin pool i trädgård ca 25 meter från bostad, poolen ungefär 8x4 meter. Om ni läser tidigare recensioner så stämmer allt...bilderna gör inte platsen rättvisa...det är bättre. Värdparet Matteo och Silvia är underbara. Givetvis behövs hyrbil när man hyr hus lite utanför stad oavsett var i Italien. Detta läget är jättebra om man vill upptäcka Palermo, Cefalú och andra städer efter kusten. Väg SS113 är verkligen en "scenic route" på många ställen. Värdparets son Marco är guld värd och otroligt serviceminded, han har massor av bra info på stränder, restauranger osv - tveka inte att fråga honom om vad som helst ! Massor av fina stränder efter kusten, kan under högsäsong vara lite svårt med parkering och därmed en bit att gå till badet...och vissa bad är lite svåra att nå för barn och äldre. Kolla innan eller fråga Marco. Sammanfattningsvis utan tvekan 5 av 5 stjärnor på boendet. Har hyrt ca 20 hus i olika delar av Italien så jag har lite att jämföra med.
