Super relaxing holiday

The villa and gardens were amazing. It was a real luxury having such a big pool for just 4 of us. Everything needed for a great holiday was there. Definitely need a car to get about but the location was perfect for us as everywhere we wanted to visit was less than an hour drive.

The property is immaculate. The pool was the cleanest I've experienced in a rental. The only problem, based on the listing description of three bedrooms and three bathrooms, is that our third bathroom for the third bedroom was located in two different locations out near the pool. This is technically a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, and one bathroom is ensuite. A lovely, lovely stay otherwise. Recommendations for dinner locations were spot on. Thank you all who had to work to give us a wonderful trip.

Great holiday in beautiful villa

This is a beautiful villa, pool and garden in a countryside setting, a few minutes drive from San Nicola L'Arena. The hosting family live in the other half of the property but give you complete privacy. A car is essential and we used it as a base to visit Monreale, Mondello, Castellmare del Golfo, Cefalu, Palermo, Trapani, Erice and Segesta. There are good local supermarkets and restaurants in San Nicola. In summary, a great holiday,

A little piece of paradise on the hill.

This is a very modern and well maintained accommodation with lovely outdoor space and a very nice pool. We spent most of our days relaxing by the pool or under the grape vines. Its a little tricky to find the first time, but host will send you directions to put into google maps. It is reasonably remote, you will need a car to get around. Someone lives upstairs, i think a family member, we didnt see them once so you do feel it is your own private space. Host was very responsive, often responding on whatsapp in minutes.

Perfect Sicilian Holiday

We just enjoyed the perfect week in Sicily. The villa, the pool and the garden were spotless clean and very well maintaned. If you want to prepare your meals, than you have everything at hand. A big thumbs up for our host for taking care of the waste, since garbage disposal seems to be a huge problem in the Palermo region. Benny was kind and helpful. Our fridge was loaded with cold water and beers. We found a prosecco which was very much appreciated since we arrived late in the evening. The only downside is the rather poor internet service but hei, it’s vacation time, no need to check your emails every five minutes.

Excellent Villa for a family getaway

We brought our three kids and their families to the villa for a week each. The house is very private and accommodating. It was fully stocked and we had everything we needed. Grocery stores were nearby and lots of restaurants. Our grandchildren loved the pool and swam every day. The backyard was beautiful and well maintained. There is a mountain behind the house that provided a beautiful view. The host, Benny, was fantastic. If we had any questions or concerns I could contact him and he was always there to help. The pictures on VRBO accurately represent the house. The beds we’re comfortable. We had a wonderful 3 week vacation in Sicily.

Perfect Christmas stay

Stayed at this wonderful property Christmas eve to new years eve. House itself is lovely, traditional, with everything you may need. We did not have use of the pool as it was out of season, but we had a roaring open open fire every night. We ventured out every day visiting cities and towns. Cefalu was a highlight...beautiful. for travelling, the train system was great, catching from San Nicola .. easy and cheap and saved fighting the traffic. We used the local stores for food as many restaurants were closed during the winter. A highlight was an early morning fishing trip arranged at the harbour. Thanks Miquel!! All in all a lovely, calm and quiet stay. Ps the local cats were very friendly and will pop in by the fire if you leave the door open!! Xx

Wonderful Villa with an Amazing Host

A superb villa - really well equipped. Air Con much appreciated. And the garden and outside areas are amazing. Plenty of options of where to sit in or out of the sun, or around a table playing games/cards. Umbrellas for shade. Excellent poolside sun loungers. Big BBQ set up with a pizza oven. The pool was the biggest we have ever had over the years. Even with a diving board. And a wonderful mountain backdrop. 100% for everything. And over 100% for the host Benny. He could not have been more helpful and attentive. Even sending us the most delicious array of pastries & savouries one day for breakfast - which was enough for lunch as well! For those that don't know Sicily (which we didn't) the beaches are all very narrow and very crowded. We usually go to Greece and sadly no comparison. But this disappointment only made us all the more grateful for such an amazing villa. We cannot recommend the villa more, and many many thanks to Benny for being so helpful and so kind.

A great place

This a wonderful villa with a great swimming pool, our family of 6 stayed here for 9 days in late July. The indoor space is well laid out with 3 good bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one onsuite. The bathrooms are well decorated with good showers. The lounge and kitchen is big, with a useful utility area leading to outside. The outside area is really big and private, lots of lovely trees etc. There are 4 seating areas, one near the kitchen and 3 around the pool and bbq. We think the pool is 12.5 metres long which is amazing. The bbq block also has an outdoor shower and toilet. The villa has a second floor where the family live but you’re totally independent with separate parking entrance and sole use of the pool. So we felt independent. Benny was super responsive, and a lovely guy, so all good. You need to be prepared to drive everywhere though, as San Nicola L’arena is too far to walk. But with a car everything is close. Would recommend getting trains to Palermo and Cefalù. Cefalù was a big, big highlight. Go to Jureka Vineria for a cocktail.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay here in early October 2016. The best point about the property is the outdoor space which is extensive and well-equipped. The pool is a really good size and it was warm enough to swim every morning. Benny was good enough to dig out some inflatable floats for the children to use (2.5 and 0.5 years) which was a really nice touch. The outdoor space also has a good manual BBQ and pizza oven. Benny even supplied the fuel (wood) which was nice. Indoors, the downstairs apartment is very spacious and modern. It has particularly good communal space for lounging and eating. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. The automatic coffee maker was a real luxury and we used this a lot! The kitchen cooker wasn't working during our stay but this wasn't an issue since there was another one in the utility room we used instead. Bathrooms were also very good. Showers modern, powerful and always hot. It also has a bath which was useful for bathing our little ones! In terms of the location, the house is very well placed for visiting small Northern coastal towns such as San Nicola, Casteldaccia and Bagheria. There are also some good beaches nearby. We made a couple of longer excursions to Cefalù and Palermo. (There's a good train service which runs through local towns which was very useful for avoiding parking in Palermo!) Due to its location near to the A19 main road, we also managed to get down to hilltop town Enna and the mosaics at Villa Romana del Casale. This was a very long day out though! In summary, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property. We had a fantastic week and would love to return some day!

Nous sommes très satisfaits par notre séjour! La maison est à la fois très fonctionnelle et très agréable. La clim fonctionne à merveille, ce qui est indispensable en été en Sicile. Tous les équipements sont de grande qualité et fonctionne parfaitement. La piscine est juste parfaite et extrêmement bien entretenue. Benni est super impliqué et entièrement disponible pour vous renseigner et/ou aider dans vos démarche (en temps de procédure Covid c'est très appréciable). À savoir: la piscine est exclusive toutefois le premier étage de la maison est occupé par la famille du propriétaire. Ces personnes sont extrêmement discrètes (nous ne les avons aperçu qu'une fois). Une fenêtre du 1er étage dont les volets semblent fermés ont un accès visuel sur la piscine. Par ailleurs, il est impossible d'aller à la plage à pieds; on ne peut s'y rendre qu'en voiture (pas de trottoir sur les bords de route). Nous recommandons chaudement ce logement! Super vacances

Nous avons passé un super séjour en famille en louant 15 jours cette villa. La maison parait un peu vieillotte au premier abord mais elle est extrêmement propre, on s'y sent vite à l'aise, et la climatisation est un vrai plus. Les atouts de la villas sont à l'extérieur avec une piscine très grande et très agréable, dans laquelle on bénéficie d'un environnement visuel extraordinaire (des oliviers et la montagne à perte de vue), des coins repas fonctionnels (tant la tonnelle que le coin barbecue). Mais le vrai plus repose sur Benny qui nous a apporté des conseils aussi précis que précieux. Il nous a aidé à organiser une sortie en mer et nous a convaincu de réaliser l'ascension de l'Etna (inoubliable). Un grand merci à Benny et n'hésitez pas à louer cette propriété pour des vacances reposantes et confortables.

Skønt hus. Pragtfuld pool. Rent og lækkert. Vi havde et vidunderligt ophold. Alt fungerede. Vi kan anbefale huset og den skønne have. Vi er totalt forundrede over hvor beskidt der er i området hvor der er skrald overalt.

Hej Torben, mange tak for din anmeldelse. Vi er meget glade for, at villaen har levet op til dine forventninger. I er en smuk familie, og det vil være en sand fornøjelse at kunne være vært for jer igen. Hvad angår ophobning af affald i gaderne, var det desværre et rådhusproblem, som heldigvis er løst. Excellent villa, good location

The communication from host Benny was excellent. Prior to arrival we had lots of good information from Benny about local shops and things to do. On arrival the villa was even better in reality, as the online pictures could only ever give an initial impression. The rooms are very spacious, the kitchen very well equipped, and patio areas giving good opportunity for both sun and shade. For us the best thing was the pool. A great size for both fun and fitness. And then there is the great view. The local area is truly Sicilian and authentic, not touristy, and with good local shops and restaurants, plus great places to swim in the sea. Overall this was perfect for us.

Perfect

We loved our stay at the Villa. We were able to take many day trips so it provided a great location. We were also able to walk to the little village of San Nicola which was fun.

The perfect villa!

Very well equipped for a large family or group. Beautiful surrounds with a view from its hillside setting in an Olive grove and with lovely mountains in the background. Villa is elegant very clean and well kitted out with cooking facilities and home washing utilities. Coffee drinkers have no problems. The pool is excellent and the setting is beautiful for swimming. Top marks from all. I am sure more active individuals can have run or biking excursions from the villa. You can drive to Palermo, Cefalu and other baroque sites with ease. Ideal for self-catering foodie holiday makers! Food and produce, fish markets and local bakeries arr all within as short drive. There is a massive outdoor woodfired pizza oven and bbq trolley...ambient lighting for night partying included. Our host is very helpful and will respond to any queries within a reasonable time. Highly recommended villa and location.

The best Villa ever! Beautiful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this beautiful villa with our two young children. Benny the owner couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and was so accommodating and helpful. The grounds are huge and well maintained and simply stunning, the pool is magnificent and the villa itself has been recently renovated to a very high standard. We are coming back next year 100%, I would recommend this villa to anyone.

WHAT A PLACE! Beautiful Villa

We stayed at the villa for 10 days with two young children and couldn't have had a better time. The pool is simply stunning and the grounds are beautiful. The villa is so well equipped and has recently been renovated to a high standard. Benny was so helpful to us and answered all questions we had and helped us with so much, even organised a boat trip for us! We can't wait to return next year.

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit super Pool und Garten .

Wir haben im Haus einen super Urlaub verlebt, am Wochende konnte man am Pool relaxen, da es sonst am Strand sehr voll war. Grill und Pizzaofen konnte man oft nutzen, Restaurants sind aber nicht weit entfernt. Ein Besuch in Cefalu oder im Aqua Freizeitpark lohnt sich allemal, ein Auto ist allerdings unumgänglich.
