Pittoresque, serein, 3 BDRM + Loft, cuisine ouverte / salon. Dans un emplacement central boisé.

Veuillez noter: nous n'avons pas de commentaires pour 2018 car nous avons loué notre maison pendant près de deux ans à de charmants résidents à temps plein.

Notre maison vigneronne confortable, à poteaux et poutres a été construite en 1984 par un architecte de renom qui a conçu d'autres maisons à Nat's Farm. Le cadre paisible et boisé est une option rafraîchissante des cantons occupés. Il y a une grande suite principale au premier étage, plus deux chambres et un loft à l'étage (1 lit queen, 1 w / lits superposés plus un lit gigogne et futon en taille réelle dans le loft. La salle de bain en bas a été récemment mise à jour avec une nouvelle douche à l'italienne et il y a une douche extérieure facilement accessible depuis la chambre principale. La salle de bain à l'étage contient une baignoire / douche. Toutes les chambres sont privées de l'espace de vie principal. Le coin cuisine / salon entièrement approvisionné est ouvert avec des plafonds voûtés, une grande cheminée et un mobilier confortable.

Les équipements extérieurs comprennent une grande terrasse avec barbecue à gaz pour les repas en plein air, une douche extérieure et beaucoup de pelouse pour les jeux ou la détente. La propriété est adjacente à la forêt domaniale et aux pistes cyclables qui vous relient à une grande partie de l'île. Il est très pratique pour de nombreuses belles plages et villes du vignoble pour le shopping, les galeries et les restaurants. Plusieurs magnifiques sentiers de randonnée, à travers une grande partie des terres protégées de l'île, sont à moins de quatre miles de notre maison.

We had a wonderful stay during our second summer vacation at this beautiful house. We love the location — steps from the bike path, right near West Tisbury — and the serene view of the meadow from the back deck. The kitchen is perfect for preparing meals with the amazing local seafood and produce, and we can’t think of a better place to relax and enjoy summer with our family.

This well appointed gem on Nat's show Farm in West Tisbury was just what my we needed for a family getaway. Its location was far enough from the hustle of the summer season but close enough if you wanted that vibe. I especially enjoyed the bike/walking trails that were steps away from the property. I've vacationed on Island for over 20 yrs this ranks as one of the best. We will be back!!

Another lovely stay

This was the second time we stayed at this house for a week and it was just as good as the first time! The location is perfect - removed from the busier towns but right on the bike path and a short drive to surrounding towns. The house is comfortable and has everything you'd need. What a special place

It is hard to believe that places/homes like this still exist on the vineyard, but they do. This home is so special- from the wood beams to the bike path right next door, to the breeze in the back yard. Cindy and her family have thought of everything- beach towels, comfortable mattresses, pots and pans galore. The house is incredibly well provisioned, with plenty of nespresso coffee pods, laundry detergent if you need it, sandwich baggies, tinfoil. These things may seem small, but they add up! We feel so lucky that Cindy and her family shared their home with us and hope to stay again in future summers.

Nats Farm stay

We really enjoyed the location. (- beautiful meadow and access to bike trails). We decided to pay for beach access to Lamberts Cove and were so happy we were eligible to do so because the house was in West Tisbury! We enjoyed the house, but we also stayed the week of the heat wave so no AC was s little rough but we all survived! Would definitely stay there again!

Idyllic retreat

We spent two blissful weeks at this beautiful house this summer. Its proximity to Ned’s Farm, a serene wild meadow surrounded by a walking path, inspired many morning walks. The bike path through the State Forest is accessible about a minute away, through a wooded trail. The house itself is sunny and airy, and in addition to the lovely, open spaces around the dining room/living room, the kitchen is nicely equipped for cooking and baking. The location, off the beaten path but minutes from West Tisbury, is a perfect spot for exploring the island, and for hiding out and relaxing. And the host was responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. We look forward to returning.

Amazing!

This was such a great place, everything worked out so well! It's a great location if you want to avoid the crowds in the towns (Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, etc.). We brought our car since we traveled with our pooches, but there is also great public transportation available around the island. We took advantage of this a few times to avoid traffic from the summer crowds on the busy days. The house was really cool in the layout and amenities and very well maintained, and we (and the pooches) loved the fact that we were so close to a walking trail and such seclusion. The owners were immensely helpful and easy to reach as there is much about the island that can only come from folks who frequent or live on the island. Will definitely rent again when we return to the island!

Absolutely loved our stay!!!!

My family absolutely loved our stay in this incredibly designed architectural treasure. It was well equipped with everything we needed. YES it is in the middle of the vineyard, but it is literally less than a 15 minute drive to absolutely everything! Lamberts cove is a must do for sure…. Its soo special and only renters and owners in West Tisbury have access. Don’t miss this opportunity!! The master and upstairs bedroom both had a mattress topper which was a pleasant surprise!! Important: for people who are worried about there being no Air conditioning, we were there the 3rd week of July during a New England heatwave and had absolutely NO issues with it being hot in the house. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!

MV Vacation

The property and the town the home is located in is a serene, peaceful setting with walking/running/biking trails. On a 56 acre farm. Very beautiful! A nature lovers dream. Very much enjoyed this.. Don’t like to be negative.. however, the negative aspect of the home is the cleanliness.. the master bath had an unpleasant odor. Bathroom floor was dirty and old. I cleaned the toilet quite a few times myself. I would recommend having home thoroughly cleaned before next renter arrives. Overall, did enjoy our stay!

June Vacation

The house and area were perfect for our dogs; There was plenty of room and privacy at the house. Cindy was very responsive and communication was very good with her as a host. However, the house needs a lot of work. Having no AC would not have been a problem, but only one ceiling fan worked, at least half the windows were broken and would not open. The dishwasher leaked on the floor both times that we attempted to use it and most of the wall switches did not work. The post and beam property could be beautiful but the owners do not seem to be making the necessary repairs. I wouldnt recommend the property.

Thank you for your response Brian. I do wish you had communicated further with me. As I indicated to you after the cleaners found your post-it note upon checkout, the dishwasher had just been repaired, and I have scheduled the repair person to come back out. We replaced half the windows last year, and will be replacing the other half this year; when we checked the windows just prior to your visit, we found four that did not operate. Both ceiling fans operate - it may be hard to figure out the switches but they do have a purpose (including the ceiling fans). The current renter has confirmed they both work. Again, a simple text or email, and your issues would have been resolved.

A perfect place for our family of 6 to relax, read, and cook.

We enjoyed really staying in this house and had a very relaxing two weeks. The open barn-like space was both familiar and comfortable. The kitchen is simply laid out but had everything we needed (pots, pans, and other cookware). Cindy is very quick to respond to questions and is very knowledgable about the island. They have done some renovations recently that were well appreciated, especially the updated master bath. The house is literally 50 feet for a bike path that you can use to bike to Edgartown or around the airport. There are many places to rent a bike if you don’t bring one. A couple of points about the Vineyard that are worth noting, especially if you haven’t been there before. Making reservations for the ferry can be a trail, especially in high season. Book as soon as you can and if you don’t get the times or dates that you want make sure to put your name on the wait list. The Vineyard is not the most dog friendly place and finding places to walk takes some investigation. Access to the ocean side beaches is vey limited, you can go to the nearby Long Point beach that is run by the Trustees of Reservations, but you’ll need to reserve when you go, or you can drive down to Chappaquiddick. The town of West Tisbury does have a beach at Lambert’s Cove for residents and renters but it’s on the bay side of the island. Lastly, the Vineyard is expensive, we brought as much food as we could fit in our car. If you’re looking for an uncomplicated and comfortable place to read and cook, I suggest book here.

Thank you Isaiah for your thoughtful review. The tips are great, especially about the ferry. Long Point is reservation only this year, like last year, due to COVID regulations, but it seems to work very well (much better than driving over and seeing the "Lot Full" sign I think). Walking a dog off leash is definitely a challenge on the Vineyard, but all the trails are leashed-dog friendly. We especially like Cedar Tree Neck and Sepiessa. Beautiful house and location

We stayed for a week at this house and it was just perfect! If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful place this is it. Its proximity to the bike trails and to the Farmers Market make it great. The owners were super helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. Already hoping to make another trip next summer!

Amazing Family Vacation

The home is beautiful and in a gorgeous location with views out to a idyllic field. Situated in a hidden location backing protected lands - we felt like we were truly away from the hustle and bustle. We brought our dogs and chose the location because Lamberts Cove has leash free beach time every a.m. where I swam while my dogs ran and played. There is also a shady and large fenced in dog run nearby across from the Black Dog cafe. We took a day trip out to Chappy to the Mytoi garden. We took a guided meditation labyrinth walk at Felix Neck Sancuary. And spent many happy hours in the waves at Aquinna. We bought rolls and made our own lobster rolls / purchasing at John’s fish market - avg lob roll is $30 - but we bought a lb for $75 and made our own! Yummmm! Crowning gem to our vacation was a ride n a huge catamaran called Mad Max in Edgar Town at sunset. What a sail! We hiked with the dogs - and avoided the poison ivy! Poison ivy is everywhere - but we learned that it’s berries provide essential fats to the birds in the fall to survive winter! The home was cool and comfortable at night - so quiet and a cool breeze wafted through. The out door shower was perfect for all bathing needs! Loved every minute we were here! West Tisbury Delight

This house is the place for relaxation and unwinding. High ceilings, exposed wood beams and an open floor plan are quintessential Martha's Vinyard. Great location - private yet close to the bike path. Highly recommend!

Great location being mid island and proximity to bike trail. Comfortable and as described in listing. Everything we needed for an enjoyable family vacation.

Rustic Architectural Retreat

Beautiful post and beam home, bathed in wood with an open, spacious feel that brings one close to nature. Great location!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My husband started coming to MV as a baby and when he was in high school, his parents built this home. In turn, our kids grew up coming here each summer, and we have celebrated, holidays, birthdays and many family events here. It is our special escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and hope it gives you the same sense of peace.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Whether walking the dog along the meadow, or riding bikes into Edgartown for lunch (or racing the kids around a 10 mile loop every summer), being here feels like stepping back to a simpler life. One where you leave the keys in the car, take an outdoor shower after a day at the beach, watch the stars at night, and simply be.
