WHALE WATCH BEACH RETREAT - PLAGE PRIVÉE ÉTONNANTE! Profitez de la vue imprenable sur le détroit de Haro et sur l'île de Vancouver à l'arrière du bain à remous extérieur ou de l'une des trois grandes terrasses.

Ceci est une grande propriété pour observer les baleines passer ou pour lancer votre propre kayak privé. Cette propriété est absolument parfait. Avec sa plage privée, spacieuse cour et la salle multimédia herbeuse vous ne serez pas à court d'activités ici. La cuisine gastronomique est entièrement équipée et jouxte la salle à manger pour que vos invités puissent vous rejoindre tout en préparant un délicieux repas.

La chambre principale englobe l'ensemble du 3ème étage et possède son propre coin salon avec cheminée électrique. La salle de bains principale est ouverte sur la chambre de sorte que vous pouvez encore profiter de la vue imprenable. Les deux autres chambres sont situées à l'étage principal de chaque côté de l'entrée couloir et partagent un bain également situé dans ce couloir. Une des chambres a également un lit de repos confortable.

Vers le côté de l'eau de la maison est une autre zone de détente avec des sièges très confortables et une vue imprenable sur le détroit de Haro et l'île de Vancouver. Au rez-de-chaussée, vous trouverez une cave à vin en cèdre (Bring Your Own Wine) avec une table de dégustation branchée pouvant accueillir deux personnes.

La salle des médias dispose d'une grande télévision à écran plat pour la télévision par satellite ou de regarder un des nombreux Blueray DVD qui sont fournis. Cette salle de presse a aussi un canapé pliant, une cuisine et une salle de bains privative avec douche de plain-pied. Internet sans fil est disponible dans toute la maison et tous les niveaux ont des places à l'extérieur sur le pont pour profiter de la magnifique coucher de soleil ici sur le côté ouest de l'île de San Juan. Réservez rapidement, celui-ci se remplissent rapidement!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We didn’t realize that the refridgerator had been turned down so low, so our food froze in the refridgerator the first night. The washing machine starting flooding the laundry room the day we left so we had to turn it off. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good:The location was great, clean, directions inside were clear,pictures were accurate.The bad: no body soap in any bathrooms. Not enough towels for our party, which means we had to do multiple loads of laundry on vacation to maintain clean towels. No one wants to do laundry on vacation. Due to multiple loads for our party of 6, there was not sufficient dryer sheets. The stairs down to the beach were overgrown with thorns. 2 of our party had their shirts caught and damaged. Nothing major but items that are generally expected in rentals with regards to amenities and safe access. The view outweighed any shortcomings and would just know to bring more household items for our next visit.

Gorgeous views!

We had a lovely stay. The home was so comfortable, and a perfect layout for our family - we have two kids in the downstairs bedrooms and the upstairs bedroom was a fantastic retreat for us! The bed up there was so comfortable, I usually don't notice that one way or another, but it really stood out. The hot tub had an amazing view and was easy to use and access right from the main level. The private beach was a treat, the kids loved throwing rocks in the water and exploring. Great yard too, lots of room to play both inside and outside. Top notch place!

Incredible house

House was great. Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. Decks, beach, grounds were perfect for playing or enjoying the views. We saw whales everyday and views were even better in person.

Fantastic house in ideal location

House is perfectly situated on a quiet, beautiful road overlooking the water! House is clean, spacious, bright, and was perfect for our trip! Convenient, central location on the island makes everything a short and easy drive! Booking, check-in, and check-out were all simple, with quick and clear communication start to finish. The whole experience was even better than expected!

Great spot for relaxation and being in nature. Very quiet and nice private beach. We cooked one night and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Whale Watch Beach Retreat Stay

This property is breathtaking and in a quiet location. Sitting on the deck, enjoying the view, and listening to nature was amazing. We saw whales breach on multiple occasions. This property is a gem and such a welcomed break from the city!

Peaceful stay in perfect location

First visit to SJI, purposefully to see orcas - as part of my parents 50th anniversary trip. We saw orcas every day for the 4 days, twice off the deck here! Plenty of space for all to get comfortable. Kitchen worked well for us cooking most meals at home. So quiet comfortable and clean. I would recommend a stay here. My only critique is we didn’t find the beds to be to our liking, we’re used to a softer mattress.

PNW Island Paradise!

We are an active group of 5 who booked this house to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. It did not disappoint! Plenty of space for everyone and then some. The view was fantastic and we enjoyed having the private beach. The house location was a quick drive to Roche Harbor as well as Friday Harbor. We found it to be conveniently located. We would definitely recommend this house to others.

Exactly as described. Beautiful home. Clean. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. The only complaint I have is all the fees on top of daily rental. A little over the top.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So we stayed here at the end of Sept. for 5 nights. We caught perfect weather and beautiful sunsets. The location on Smugglers Cove is outstanding! All of us kept our eyes on the water continously to spot Orcas, which we did see.Now to the house. The property needs a refresh. The carpets are bunched up in places. Some of the furniture is well worn and the house itself needs some maintenance like paint and some deck boards replaced. Also the electronics need some attention with missing components and a broken DVD player.But, I guess we were paying for location which this property has in spades!

Too bad about the blinds

When you pay a lot of money every night for a vacation rental, you expect there to be decent light blocking in the bedrooms. Otherwise, as soon as the sun rises you're waking up probably earlier than you want to be. Unfortunately this place, the master bedroom had windows without coverings. And even the windows that did have coverings, the coverings were extremely translucent and ineffective at what you expect them to do, block light from coming in. The other bedroom suffered from the same problem, the blinds are useless when they are letting light in. I notify the property but they pretty much just ignored me. Also, whatever remodel happened to this place was a complete train wreck! You can't even sit down on the toilet in the master bathroom without banging your head on the cupboard behind you

Incredible getaway!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a post-holiday getaway/birthday weekend at Whale Watch Beach Retreat and it was absolutely incredible. We couldn't get over the view, it is SPECTACULAR!! Breath-taking, entertaining, and changed every day based on weather. You see Canada, the Olympic Mountains, tons of birds, seals every day, we swear we saw a whale, and so many bald eagles. The house is immaculate, furniture and appliances in perfect condition. The rooms were a nice size and the kitchen is huge and very well appointed, we love to cook and always bring some knives and utensils but this time it wasn't needed! The house is covered with nice soft carpet but no shoes are allowed inside so bring some house shoes. Everything was VERY clean when we arrived. Beds were super comfy too! We loved checking the tide pools every day at low tide. The hot tub was also a hit, super clean and in great working order, overlooking the water and mountains. The yard is also gorgeous, pristine grass with plenty of birds and even a few deer. There were outdoor games like croquet and badmitten to play. We used a kayak too–they are in a shed by the beach and are in perfect shape. Fun to see the seal from the water! We took hikes at English Camp and Lime Kiln Park, got oysters at Westcott Bay, and meandered around the island roads looking at the farms. Everything was within 10-15 minutes of the house. We really lucked out with January weather, it rained in the morning/at night but was sunny and lovely during the days. It was the perfect place to go during covid, we barely saw anyone! Only recommendations: 1. Bring a Brita pitcher or some bottled water to drink, even out of the fridge filter the well water is not tasty. 2. The house needs a large door mat at the back/living room door to the deck. There's a very small area to remove shoes and no where to wipe them off. The management company is clearly excellent. Graduation Getaway

Had an amazing time celebrating our son’s graduation and Father’s Day. Spectacular views! Enjoyed watching the resident bald eagles and sea otters. Cool place!
