WHALE WATCH BEACH RETREAT - PLAGE PRIVÉE ÉTONNANTE! Profitez de la vue imprenable sur le détroit de Haro et sur l'île de Vancouver à l'arrière du bain à remous extérieur ou de l'une des trois grandes terrasses.

Ceci est une grande propriété pour observer les baleines passer ou pour lancer votre propre kayak privé. Cette propriété est absolument parfait. Avec sa plage privée, spacieuse cour et la salle multimédia herbeuse vous ne serez pas à court d'activités ici. La cuisine gastronomique est entièrement équipée et jouxte la salle à manger pour que vos invités puissent vous rejoindre tout en préparant un délicieux repas.

La chambre principale englobe l'ensemble du 3ème étage et possède son propre coin salon avec cheminée électrique. La salle de bains principale est ouverte sur la chambre de sorte que vous pouvez encore profiter de la vue imprenable. Les deux autres chambres sont situées à l'étage principal de chaque côté de l'entrée couloir et partagent un bain également situé dans ce couloir. Une des chambres a également un lit de repos confortable.

Vers le côté de l'eau de la maison est une autre zone de détente avec des sièges très confortables et une vue imprenable sur le détroit de Haro et l'île de Vancouver. Au rez-de-chaussée, vous trouverez une cave à vin en cèdre (Bring Your Own Wine) avec une table de dégustation branchée pouvant accueillir deux personnes.

La salle des médias dispose d'une grande télévision à écran plat pour la télévision par satellite ou de regarder un des nombreux Blueray DVD qui sont fournis. Cette salle de presse a aussi un canapé pliant, une cuisine et une salle de bains privative avec douche de plain-pied. Internet sans fil est disponible dans toute la maison et tous les niveaux ont des places à l'extérieur sur le pont pour profiter de la magnifique coucher de soleil ici sur le côté ouest de l'île de San Juan. Réservez rapidement, celui-ci se remplissent rapidement!

Beautiful, well cared for property. Private setting with a full view of the water. We enjoyed watching the ships passing through. Great location between Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We didn’t realize that the refridgerator had been turned down so low, so our food froze in the refridgerator the first night. The washing machine starting flooding the laundry room the day we left so we had to turn it off. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good:The location was great, clean, directions inside were clear,pictures were accurate.The bad: no body soap in any bathrooms. Not enough towels for our party, which means we had to do multiple loads of laundry on vacation to maintain clean towels. No one wants to do laundry on vacation. Due to multiple loads for our party of 6, there was not sufficient dryer sheets. The stairs down to the beach were overgrown with thorns. 2 of our party had their shirts caught and damaged. Nothing major but items that are generally expected in rentals with regards to amenities and safe access. The view outweighed any shortcomings and would just know to bring more household items for our next visit.

Stunning Haro Strait vacation home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at Whale Watch. The home is spacious and comfortable. It easily accommodated our group of 8 ranging from 3 years old to grandparents. By far the best feature of this home is its location on Haro Strait. The views are incredible. Everyone loved exploring the rocky beach front. We enjoyed watching river otters, seals, sea lions, harlequin ducks, and various other birds. The highlight was getting to watch J and K pods of southern resident orcas travel by for over an hour and a half. We have been fortunate to see orcas directly from the house both times we’ve stayed!!! Highly recommend this vacation rental!

Gorgeous views!

We had a lovely stay. The home was so comfortable, and a perfect layout for our family - we have two kids in the downstairs bedrooms and the upstairs bedroom was a fantastic retreat for us! The bed up there was so comfortable, I usually don't notice that one way or another, but it really stood out. The hot tub had an amazing view and was easy to use and access right from the main level. The private beach was a treat, the kids loved throwing rocks in the water and exploring. Great yard too, lots of room to play both inside and outside. Top notch place!

Fantastic house in ideal location

House is perfectly situated on a quiet, beautiful road overlooking the water! House is clean, spacious, bright, and was perfect for our trip! Convenient, central location on the island makes everything a short and easy drive! Booking, check-in, and check-out were all simple, with quick and clear communication start to finish. The whole experience was even better than expected!

Incredible house

House was great. Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. Decks, beach, grounds were perfect for playing or enjoying the views. We saw whales everyday and views were even better in person.

I cried because we didn't want to leave!

Reviewer Comments: This house made our vacation so unforgettable. The pictures don't show how amazing or perfect the views are. From the moment you hit the harbor and drive the winding roads to the home, it is like stepping into paradise. When you pull into the property, the view is stunning. The house is clean and very comfortable. We had one rainy and cold day and were so content to stay at the house and have a cozy day inside. It has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The hot tub was super clean and just the right temp. If we ever have the chance to return to San Juan, we would have to stay here or it just wouldn't compare. Do yourself a favor and book this house!!! As a side note, the property management team was spectacular. So friendly and easy to work with. They even helped us with restaurants and suggestions of things to do on the island. Seriously, it was the perfect vacation!

Whale Watch Beach for Memorial Day

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house along with a 3 other couples for Memorial Day. We booked it for the view, the hot tub, and space to play outdoors and it did not disappoint. The sleeping arrangements were plenty suitable for a group of our size and there were ample spots for afternoon naps. The property was in good condition and quite clean when we arrived. There were plenty of options for running laundry and well-stocked cleaning supplies. We would highly recommend this property and management company. This property is really close to Roche Harbor and the drive between is littered with farm stands, bucolic pastures, and an alpaca farm! We ate lunch at Lime Kiln Cafe and highly recommend the donuts. We are already dreaming about our return!

Too bad about the blinds

When you pay a lot of money every night for a vacation rental, you expect there to be decent light blocking in the bedrooms. Otherwise, as soon as the sun rises you're waking up probably earlier than you want to be. Unfortunately this place, the master bedroom had windows without coverings. And even the windows that did have coverings, the coverings were extremely translucent and ineffective at what you expect them to do, block light from coming in. The other bedroom suffered from the same problem, the blinds are useless when they are letting light in. I notify the property but they pretty much just ignored me. Also, whatever remodel happened to this place was a complete train wreck! You can't even sit down on the toilet in the master bathroom without banging your head on the cupboard behind you

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So we stayed here at the end of Sept. for 5 nights. We caught perfect weather and beautiful sunsets. The location on Smugglers Cove is outstanding! All of us kept our eyes on the water continously to spot Orcas, which we did see.Now to the house. The property needs a refresh. The carpets are bunched up in places. Some of the furniture is well worn and the house itself needs some maintenance like paint and some deck boards replaced. Also the electronics need some attention with missing components and a broken DVD player.But, I guess we were paying for location which this property has in spades!

Peaceful stay in perfect location

First visit to SJI, purposefully to see orcas - as part of my parents 50th anniversary trip. We saw orcas every day for the 4 days, twice off the deck here! Plenty of space for all to get comfortable. Kitchen worked well for us cooking most meals at home. So quiet comfortable and clean. I would recommend a stay here. My only critique is we didn’t find the beds to be to our liking, we’re used to a softer mattress.
