âCasa Liubaâ is a wonderful holiday venue. It is a lovely old house modernised to a very high standard, extremely clean, and is located in an area of extraordinary beauty and of high cultural and historical interest, unspoiled and largely unknown in the Appenine hills, south of Reggio Emilia. The kitchen was very well equipped and a lovely wood fire was burning when we arrived.
The owner, Manuela B., was very welcoming, both discrete and attentive. Apart from providing a most welcome aperitif (lambrusco with local speciality erbezzone) taken next to the wood fire, she organised for us a visit to a personal visit to a producer of wine and balsamic vinegar and accompanied us to the local cooperative dairy in which award-winning Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is made, acting as translator from Italian into a combination of French and English.
We cannot recommend âCasa Liubaâ more highly.

Cette belle maison, trĂšs confortable et propre, amĂ©nagĂ© avec goĂ»t, la cuisine trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, le salon confortable avec un trĂšs accueillant poĂȘle Ă bois. La maison est situĂ© dans un hameau prĂšs du village de Magliari, prĂšs de Casina (commerces et accĂšs internet gratuit Ă la bibliothĂšque municipale) au centre dâune rĂ©gion dâune Ă©poustouflante beautĂ© naturelle et de grand intĂ©rĂȘt culturel et historique.
La propriĂ©taire, Manuela B., est Ă la fois discrĂšte et attentive aux besoins de ses locataires. Elle a organisĂ© pour nous une visite personnalisĂ©e aux locaux dâun vigneron/producteur de vinaigre balsamique et nous a accompagnĂ©s Ă la laiterie coopĂ©rative du village de Magliari oĂč lâon produit un superbe fromage Parmigiano-Reggiano, jouant le rĂŽle dâinterprĂšte trilingue (Italien-Français-Anglais).
