This is a great place to stay with kids! Overall, the house was great! Just a few steps and you are at the beach. It could really use a deep cleaning. We would stay again.

Had a great time with family from Arkansas. This was the first time the grandkids had seen the ocean. What a treat for them, and this home was perfect for location to the beach. Check-in was easy. Communication was great. Access to the beach was great. The kids enjoyed all the games that were available. The home is nice, it does need some repairs, but enjoyed our stay. The people they have cleaning only do a surface clean, so it definitely needs a much deeper cleaning. The worst was the oven that had a lot of burnt food on the bottom, it definitely has not been cleaned for quite some time, it was disgusting. Thank you Kodi for letting us stay in your home.

Wonderful beach trip

The house was absolutely wonderful for our family. It was very comfortable and well eqipped with all of our needs (and more). The teenagers very much enjoyed the table games in the lower level. The room themes were quite fun. Excellent location near town and to the beach. Thank you for a beautiful home for the week.

Annual trip perfect home

Close to beach and town, beautiful home, very clean, lots of extras, allot of seating, tons of games, great large deck, perfect location, ping pong table and games in downstairs ideal. Only downside is spiral staircase so be mindful of people in party. We were OK with people but elections would not be able to go up or down host was great at quick response and answers. Great place. Would recommend to small groups.

Weekend with grandkids

We were expecting a house on the beach as the ad says steps from the beach and the pic of the house is taken at an angle that doesn't show there's a row of houses between it and the beach. It's a pretty good walk not just steps. I was ticked. Then the inside pics don't show the tiny spiral staircase to get downstairs. The kids did enjoy all the games and ended up having fun but the ad is deceiving.

Great beach stay

We all enjoyed our stay at the Ocean View Beach House. It’s a very short walk to the beach and about 1/2 mile into town for ice cream. The beach is fabulous. Clean and not as crowded as beaches further north. The house was comfortable, clean, and provided everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality pots and pans. The board game and puzzle collection is amazing! We appreciated the sharpened pencils, all ready for keeping score! We will stay in the Ocean View Beach House again.

Great place to Stay!

We got away for a short family weekend and the place was an excellent location, was clean and had comfortable beds, and a decently stocked kitchen. Our whole family agreed that we would recommend it and return there, though we often like to try different places. I should mention that the main way to the downstairs is a very narrow circular staircase so if you are elderly, it might be a challenge but it's not something that I would say is a problem for most folks. Highly recommend!

Great house!

This is our second time staying in this house, and we had a great time! This kids took over the downstairs and had a blast. Great beach access. Right in town if you want to walk to the shops or the train station. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend!

This place was right off the beach, had arcade, foosball and pingpong table. Plenty of board games and puzzle to choose from. Absolutely set up for a perfect stay at the beach.

Great location!

I loved that we were right across from the path to the beach and could see and hear the ocean from the deck. The house had all the amenities we needed and was comfortable and clean. I’ll definitely book here again!

Comfy house, amazing location!

We had such an awesome, relaxing time here! It was myself, my parents, my partner and my teenage son. We all had plenty of room and were very comfortable here. The house has anything and everything you might want or need during your stay. It was very clean and smelled soooo good when we arrived. Everything was in decent condition. I was very pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. Whoever said it's "a few steps up from a college crash pad" is kind of ridiculous, imo. It's nothing like that! It's well appointed, everything works, it's comfortable, it looks nice. There's nothing there that's even close to being like that. It's an older house, as are the vast majority of the ones in that area, but it's not offensive or gross in any way. There are a few minor things that could use updating, like the kitchen sink faucet and the toilet seat, but they're still perfectly functional. I did read the reviews about the stairs but it's hard to really get it until you're there. My son and I are each about 6' tall (me under, him over) and we're big people. I'm disabled from back issues and nerve damage. I was able to use the stairs inside but it was scary. Going up was easier because you can kind of climb with your hands. The main issue is that the steps are very small so feet don't fit well and there's a spot where you must duck to go under. That said, they're navigable and my son went up and down with no issues after getting used to them. I just mostly stayed upstairs.

Wonderful getaway

We had a group of 8 adults and one baby for the first weekend and there was ample room for us all. We found everything we needed, it was the little things like a fan in each bedroom closet, that made the stay excellent! The ping ping and foosball table got a workout that first weekend. The rest if the week was just 3 adults and we relaxed, walked the beach, made dinners, went fishing and had a much needed vacation. I would like to recommend the Old Growth trail walk in Rockaway, its barely a mile from this house and was amazing! We will definitely be returning to this rental in the future!!

Family time in the sand!

We had a wonderful stay at the house with much needed family time. The ocean toys available for use were a great addition to our activities. We're already contemplating our next adventure here!

Clean, comfy, and steps from the beach!

Great house just steps from the beach! Large sectional couch, huge dining table, and large deck provided plenty of room for our group of 7. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well-stocked. Ping pong and foosball tables in the garage were a hit with the kids. The garage also had about everything else you could need: chairs, boogie boards, clam guns, etc. Bonus points for some of the cleanest looking carpet I've seen in a pet-friendly house! As others have mentioned, it's not a house for those with mobility issues or very young children due to the steep, narrow circular stairs, but they weren't an issue for us. Honestly, my only complaint was that most of the dishes in the cupboards weren't very clean. Otherwise, everything was clean and comfy and just right for our family. We really enjoyed our visit!
