We had a wonderful time walking on the beach and just spending time with family visiting family from the Portland area, driving up to estoria to see the Gooniesi's house. And the boardwalk in seaside, just generally digging in the sand on the beach, building the sandcastles with family. We were not able to make coffee due to the coffee pot being broken. But we may do with the teapot, no big deal. There there would have been a bit more hot water in the hot water tank. That would have been nice. Maybe a bigger hot water tank. We did have six people with us and steve everybody taking a shower to get the sand off kind of when the water out quickly. We loved having the washer and dryer on-site as well as the fire pit. We've really enjoyed roasting marshmallows and hot dogs to end the day.

We had a wonderful time in Rockaway Beach. It was a surprise for a friend. We snuck her daughter in from Austin. The house is great, super comfy beds and the linens are really nice. The house is well laid out and the hot tub was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen is well stocked but could use a better set of knives. The neighbors were AWESOME and gifted us some freshly caught and cooked crabs. All in all.. a pretty fabulous trip.

This place had what we needed. We were looking for a place where 3 adult couples could stay and nobody had to share a bunk bed. This place had 2 rooms with a king bed and a room with 2 queen beds. It was perfect for our needs. The back yard was small but had a hot tub and a grill to use. The host supplies lots of dishes and kitchen items. The neighborhood was okay and there was lots of parking.

Very nice beach home

Loved the charming decor and extremely comfortable bed. The family enjoyed it very much. We were disappointed to find out the propane tank for the grill was empty, after we bought stuff to BBQ. The hot tub had an issue heating up and maintaining it. Loved the deep bathtubs and the plates in the kitchen.

From the Owner: "We are sorry to hear that you could not get the spa warm. If you had texted us, we could have told you to go to the warm button on the spa and turn it up. We have been here twice since your visit, and both times the spa got nice and hot and was very enjoyable. To keep the spa hot, keep the temperature up and the lid closed when no one is in it. Also, be aware that if there are a lot of people in it for long periods of time, it might not stay as hot as when you first get in. We are also sorry to hear the propane tank was empty, and it has been filled since. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the rest of the house."

Cute house

Cute house, great location. Loved having the hot tub and all of the things for the kids like a pack n play and feeding chair. The only issue was the house smelled really bad like BO even after buying and using a whole can of febreeze/odor eliminator. Other than that I would definitely stay again.
