The apartment was perfect for our four-night stay in Bologna. The host was very responsive, and helpful with meal advice, and transportation. The apartment had everything one could need. Dishes, glasses, kitchen tools and appliances. We tend to eat breakfast and a light evening meal at our VRBO and splurge on lunch. There is a grocery store on the bottom floor. Bologna was a part of Italy that was new to us. We loved our stay.

The place was wonderful- plenty of room, bed was comfortable, and location was amazing. Marco, who met us, was very responsive and kind. It is a great place to stay and recommended.

Great apartment. Perfect location. Marco was so helpful from beginning to end. He met us at apartment and expkained everything, gave helpful info about attractions and restaurants and even drove ua to train station after our departure. I would 100% reccomend a stay here. Bologna is a great city

This luminous, spacious apartment has everything you need for a longer stay, like great wifi, a stocked kitchen, a nice shower and a comfortable living room. It's literally a 20 minute walk from anything you might want to do. Marco is a fabulous host, and is always available for any need. Be aware that you're in the absolute center of the center of town, so there can be a little nightclub noise on some nights, but nothing a bit of fan noise or earplugs can't cover. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this apartment and would gladly stay again!

Another fantastic stay

This is the second time I have rented this apartment. Everything is perfect from the host to the location. Right is the heart of Bologna yet quiet at night. Will definitely stay here again.

We didn’t realize when we booked how perfectly situated this apartment was to all we wanted to see in Bologna (our 1st visit)! Marco & Silvia were SO accommodating in the booking, directions, check-in, & parking! The apartment was a great retreat after sightseeing & quite comfortable in the summer heat! We would definitely stay again!

Great apartment in perfect location

Very well located to everything we wanted to see and to visit, easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, bakery, grocery store right next door, bus stop nearby, a bright apartment with a well outfitted kitchen, plenty of hot water, well, in fact everything a visitor needs to enjoy a visit to Bologna. And a very nice host to top it all off!

Location, Location, Location

We spent 3 nights in this very well located apartment. Marco and Sylvia were wonderful hosts for our stay in their well supplied home. Literally just steps from market and coffee shop. Only 5 minute walk to piazza Maggiore and all the architectural history of the old city.

A lovely stay in Bologna

We had a lovely stay in Bologna at the Frog's Hideaway. Silvia and Marco were excellent hosts, going out of their way to be helpful to us older (80 and 72) Americans. The location is close to the major scenic spots in the old city. You have an immediate sense of being immersed in the history of old, older and oldest Bologna. The charming accommodations are modern and clean.

Bologn Secret Frog

We were on a short break to Bologna. The location of this accommodation couldn’t have been better. It was clean and had everything we needed. Marco, the host, was amazing. Kept in touch before and during our stay and was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend. Shops, restaurants, bars, markets and transport all close by.

I had the most gorgeous stay at this lovely, quiet, comfortable and well kept apartment. The host is so helpful and kind, with great recommendations for food especially! The apartment was very clean, well stocked with amenities (hairdryer, pots and pans etc in kitchen) and has the most beautiful furniture. Will definitely be back!

Great Location

Frog’s Hideaway was a perfect location to explore and enjoy Bologna. Marco was a very good host, helping us to settle in and provide a wealth of information. The apartment was equipped with everything you needed. It was remarkably quiet. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Ticks all the boxes.

It was an absolute joy to stay here. This modern style apartment was spacious and comfy for our month in Bolonga. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking some of the superb produce of Bolonga. Felt very safe here. It was very central, a stone's throw from the towers. The access was lovely, nothing difficult for us seniors. The host communicated well and was most helpful. Definitely the place to stay for our next trip to Bolonga.

Amazing location and wonderful host

My husband and I stayed at Frog's Hideaway for 5 nights. We loved every minute of our stay. The check-in process was effortless. Marco showed up 10 minutes after our call to let him know that we had arrived. He showed us the property and gave us the name of his best restaurants. Very friendly. The property was lovely, clean and had an old time charm. The location could not have been better. We were able to walk to the major tourist attractions and restaurants.

What a mistake not having explored Bologna before!! Our host met us, informed us, and arranged our departure. Perfecto!!! If we return to Bologna, and I hope we do, we would certainly choose The Frog’s Hideaway again. Right in the old centre, but very quiet and comfortable. Thank you, Marco

Excellent helpful host with tips, restaurant suggestions and helped arrange taxis and waited until we were picked up. Older unit inside but spacious, comfortable and well equipped, the kitchen was very well equipped. Bed is good and moderately firm. Right in city centre. Note there are stairs and narrow corridors to gain entry. Generally queiet.
