Appartement élégant en plein coeur de Rome, quelques minutes seulement des Fors romains et du Colisé, tous les principaux monuments sont à portée de mains.
L'appartement a un emplacement idyllique; peu de mètres dans les rives du Tibre, près de l'ile Tiberine (isola Tiberina).
L'appartement est tres silencieux et élégant, situe au premier étage d'un immeuble du 18eme siècle.
L'appartement est dote d'équipement et de fornitures modernes, d'un large salon avec sofas, une salle a manger, une cuisine américaine, une chambre a coucher, une salle de bain, une entrée ainsi qu'une immense armoire. La cuisine aménagée dispose des derniers équipements modernes et la chambre a coucher d'un lit matrimonial et de nombreux tiroirs. Quant a la salle de bain, elle contient une grande douche.
De plus, vous disposez d'un extreme confort grace à l'air conditionné disponible, un chauffage indépendant, SAT-TV , une line téléphonique sur demande, un coffre fort, séchoir...

The property was exactly as described. Vera was lovely and very helpful. It was very neat and very clean,in a quiet area but still close to everything. Easy to get to and lots of taxis outside front gate. We would definitely stay here again.

Surprisingly nice property

Nice place. Well furnished. Clean and secure. Two very good pizza places within just a few meters! Heating and hot water a little different compared to USA but work. Nice king bed. I would stay here again!

Wonderful stay in Rome, lovely apartment

We enjoyed our little nest in Testaccio neighborhood. Walking distance (if you enjoy walking) from all the places we wanted to visit in Rome, but away from the crowds. Rome Apartment

The advertisement says "Just renewed". That is misleading. The apartment may have been renewed a couple of years ago. It was okay. Nothing plush or luxurious, just okay. It was certainly adequate. The apartment is in a good location to explore Rome with some good restaurants nearby.

Great place in the heart of Testaccio

I stayed for 2weeks in Testaccio. I absolutely loved it. The location is easy walking distance to major attractions like the Colloseum and the Foro Romanum, but also close to residential neighbourhoods like Aventino and Testaccio to get an authentic roman experience. Make sure to cross the river into Trasvestere as well for some amazing food and ancient winding streets. Morning walks along the Tiber into the old city were my favourite part of the trip probably. The apartment it self is very nice. Clean, spacious, safe, good wifi, great kitchenette. The building is very interesting too with a beautiful courtyard. Would definitely come back another time.

Excellent location, lots of amenities, bright, comfortable space, would come back!

This unit is bright and cheerful, with a well-stocked kitchen and other amenities. We really like having a space other than the bedroom to relax in and the couch and chair in the living room were great. It is in a great location, with easy access to transit and walking distance to several lovely areas. We could hear neighbours (TV, laughing, someone watching a sporting event, someone playing piano quite well) in the evenings but never too loud and it was always quiet by about 9:30 or 10:00 pm. Alina checked us in, showed us how everything worked, and offered some helpful suggestions about how to use the transit and local attractions. We really enjoyed the restaurant at the corner, Il Gianfornaio, and we took advantage of being 5 minutes from the Tiber with walks along the river almost every day. We certainly recommend this location.

Good location, spacious, quiet

Spacious, quiet, good location, reasonably clean and well provisioned, well furnished, comfortable bed. Bathroom could use a deep cleaning and refurbishment. Hot water heater not working properly. Warm water for 30-40 seconds after turning on tap, then cold water for next 5 - 7 minutes, then maybe 2-3 minutes of warm water before it gets cold again. This makes for uncomfortable showers ( especially in December). The hot water heater makes also loud clunking noise all through the night. We stayed for nine nights and would have appreciated a change of bed linens and towels over that time.

"De retour de Rome. C''était notre quatrième séjour chez Veruska. Nous aimons tant cet appartement,très spacieux, très propre, très calme, situé dans un quartier de plus en plus en vogue où l''on se sent en totale sécurité et à quelques tours de roue de bus de Farnese,Campo dei Fiori, du Vatican(N°23) de la gare Termini, Piazza di Venezia : le coeur de la ville (N°95, 170). Nous apprécions aussi l''accueil si sympathique à l''aéroport. Tout cela fait que nous n''hésiterons jamais avec une autre résidence romaine..."

"Appartement bien pour 4, idéal pour 2 personnes, situé à 1/2 étage, donnant sur court intérieure calme et typique. Les + : Facilité d''acceuil (pas de caution, pas d''horaires à respecter pour quitter l''appartement (personne ne devait le reprendre après nous. Cartier vivant, bien situé par rapport aux arrêts de bus, alimentation (très bonne épicerie à 500 m vers Pyramide ; marché couvert pittoresque et supérette à 100m), vente de tickets de bus et pizzerias en bas de l''immeuble. On rejoint le Trastevere en 10 minutes à pieds. Appartement propre, avec le nécessaire pour cuisiner de façon simple. Les - : cloches des bénédictins de la colline l''Aventin vous réveillant à 6H00. Un séjour très pluvieux ... éviter le mois de Mars pour visiter Rome."

"Très bien situé et agréable. Il manque juste, comme souvent, un équipement pour cuisiner adapté à 5 personnes (grands plats de service et cocotte de cuisson)...Le propriétaire a organisé nos transfers en taxi de l'aéroport ce qui est un plus bien agréable."

"L'appartement était bien...

"L'appartement était bien conforme au descriptif, et il était bien tenu et confortable(attention: nous n'étions que 2 et donc nous n'avons pas utilisé le couchage du canapé-lit). Il est à 20 minutes à pied du portique d'Octavie, et tout près du Trastevere (il n'y a qu'à traverser le pont!). Le métro Pyramide n'est pas très loin et il y a des tas de bus au carrefour. L'immeuble est globalement très calme, sauf le matin... mais qui va à Rome pour faire la grasse matinée? (A noter: Près de l'appart, rue Branca, il faut goûter les pizze de Remo avant de repartir.) En résumé, nous avons apprécié notre séjour et tout s'est très bien passé."

"Ce deuxième séjour, tout aussi réussi que le premier dans le bel appartement de Veruska, confirme nos commentaires très élogieux de mars 2008. Un plus cette année : le transfert aéroport-appartement assuré par le très gentil Mario. Nous avions oublié de noter un privilège considérable au centre de Rome : se réveiller au chant des oiseaux !"

Quaint and cute but not in the nicest area of Roma.

Property is cute and the pictures are accurate. However, the area has graffiti all over it and it isn't quite as close to the Coliseum and Forums as it seems. The restaurants around it are descent but there's not many of them. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable as was the sofa sleeper. However the sofa sleeper is incredibly loud anytime someone moves on it. The owner is friendly as was the person who greeted us on our arrival.

Quiet getaway within Rome

We have just returned from a week in Rome and loved this location. The apartment was exactly as described. We are a family of four with two teen sons, and this apartment accommodated all of us comfortably. Highlights of the apartment: the living room has both a pull-out couch and chair (can sleep up to three in living room); bed in the bedroom is very comfortable and a perfect place for an afternoon nap; air conditioner works really well; wifi was fast; location is safe and very quiet; water pressure in shower is great with plenty of hot water. The location of the apartment was quite convenient with an easy walk (~ 15 min) to Trastevere, the Jewish Ghetto and Capitoline Hill/Colosseum/Roman Forum. There is a bus stop right in front of the apartment and a metro stop a few blocks away. Tickets for transportation can be purchased two doors down at the Tabacchi shop. We did not use this transportation, since the taxi service in Rome is wonderful and convenient. For a family of four the cost of the taxi is relatively similar to the cost of the bus/metro. I highly recommend downloading the app "My Taxi" which worked perfectly! It is similar to Uber in the US- but is the preferred taxi app in Rome. With this app the taxi comes directly to you- never took more than 3 minutes- and then drops you at the destination that you type into the app (don't need to worry about pronouncing the location correctly). The other convenience is that it is cashless- use the credit card on file with the app. Technically you don't need to leave the block to eat... there is a bakery/espresso place next door, an excellent pizza place around the corner, and a gelato place directly across the street that serves great gelato and is open from 7 am to midnight. We also LOVED the food at Nonna Betta (Jewish Ghetto) and La Gensola (Trastevere). We had the VRBO owner help us with a chauffeur from the airport which was certainly convenient, albeit a little expensive (60 euro-cash). On the way back to the airport, we were much more savvy and used the my taxi app- paid 24 euro... All in all- a lovely stay in a quaint apartment. We would definitely stay there again! Ciao-

Would definitely return here!

Location, location, location! This was fabulous for our two-week stay in Rome. Our goal was to live like a Roman, but be sure to visit all the tourist sites. The bus line was right outside the gates to the apartment building. There is a phenomenal cafe, Gianfornario a few steps away, a great Pizza place next door, and a gelato place across the street! Walk a few blocks and there are many shops where the language is only Italian, children play in the parks and the restaurants are authentic old world cooking. Il Forno Antico was our favorite. The apartment itself was perfect and as described. The kitchen was well equipped, the furniture and bed very comfortable. There was a washing machine which came in handy for our stay. Although there is no dryer, typical in Italy, the drying rack worked just fine! Everything in the apartment was very clean with more than enough closet space to arrange belongings for our stay. Although there were folks above us, we rarely heard them and there was no disturbance from the street. We arranged airport pick up and return through our host who was there to greet us when we arrived. We would definitely return to Testaccio and this apartment!

Very nice condo with great air conditioning

We stayed here for five nights in July and the location was fantastic. Very close to the bus and surrounded by fabulous restaurants. We especially loved Pizzeria Da Remo right around the corner and ate there several times. The condo is very modern and clean and the air conditioner was like ice. I highly recommend this place!
