What a wonderful place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay! Paola was the perfect host with so much information on how to enjoy Rome! Bus stop right there! Loved it!!

Best stay in Rome!!

Loved the unit, the neighborhood and especially our host! So helpful with so much written information on bus lines, things to do, restaurants and lots of other really good information for travelers especially for those who are first timers to the area. Great apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in Testaccio. The apartment was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, and Paola provided much information about the neighbourhood and the city. Many restaurants, groceries and shops are close by, Mercato Testaccio is great, and you can enjoy a gelato in the Piazza.

Great Stay!

Property locarion is excellent, surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery and pharmacy. The check in process was easy and our host, Paola made it even better by going over everything and answering all our questions. The apartment was spotless and the elevator, while small wqs greatly appreciated to carry up our luggage. Highly recommended and a much appreciated oasis during our trip to Rome! Thank you Paola!

Perfect apartment

We enjoyed our stay here so much! Donatella helped us get settled and was very helpful. Location of the apartment couldn’t be better and it was a nice spot to come back to after sight seeing in the extreme July heat. Air conditioning kept the apartment very comfy and they even provided a fan to help with air circulation. We were comfy and cozy throughout our stay!

Superb location and super clean

We had a great 3 nights at Paola’s home. She is a great host - met us an the apartment, explained everything. It is a super location, lots of nearby restaurants and a short ride or even walkable to all of the important sites. Right on the bus route.

Charming Studio in walking distance to the Coliseum

A very enjoyable stay at this property. Paola the host met us and gave a thorough tour of the property. The unit has a washer which was a great benefit along with a complete kitchen, safe, remote heat/ac. The neighborhood has a generous selection of restaurants and the Coliseum is a short walk. A very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Clean, Cozy and Convenient

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was close to transportation, restaurants and grocery stores. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the feeling of an old established Italian neighborhood, yet still close to Rome’s must see areas.

Nice and cozy

My wife and I spent 4 nights in this nice and cozy apartment. Lots of information was provided, so we didn‘t have to search the map too much. Very clean, well maintained, close to Metro station, We would go back there if the chance arise.

Loved Roma! Great Accommodations

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the Testaccio area. This particular neighborhood was very lively and felt completely safe. We were able to walk to most sites and took the local buses for others. The bus stops are very close to the apartment. We enjoyed several local authentic (and delicious!!!) restaurants close by. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Thank you, Paola, for such an amazing experience!

Excellent Place to Stay in Rome

This flat is as pictured. This is a private and safe place to stay while you explore Rome. Highly recommend! Walk a short distance to Circus Maximus or the Colosseum and grab the Hop on Hop off for an amazing tour of the city. Other Notes: Take the 50€ capped price taxi ride from the airport to avoid trying to navigate the ticket lines and tourists when you’re exhausted from international travel. The water and fixtures in this property gets scalding hot, so be careful! **You can’t go wrong with this place**

Great stay and lovely host!

We had a wonderful time in Rome and Paola's appartment was the perfect place to stay! It's super clean, comfortable, quiet (you don't imagine being in Rome) and very well equipped. Paolo's tipps were very helpful, the information map she put together is priceless! Only on the recommendation for the Sette Oche in Travestere we can't agree - rather poor quality and no atmosphere. But for all the other things thank you Paola and we'd love to come back next year!

Absolutely Incredible!

Paola, is an absolute delight. I have never had such a marvelous experience, her incredible attention to detail is just simply unmatched. She was so incredible and patient in explaining the area around where we stayed, as well as where to go in Roma that it made it so much easier to really eat, commute and live like a local. If ever in Roma again, she will be our go to! Thank you SO much, Paola.

she has got every thing

I have stayed in casa della robbia for 7 days. Mrs paola has prepared for us almost every thing!! She was very carefull and meticulus about all details. The appt is very near to all places either traines or buses or metro .the apartment was so clean and tidy and will arranged and there was nothing missing .i wished they have bigger bathroom but it was ok any how. Thanks you paola for your care and for your beautiful place.

6 STARS!!!

Paola was wonderful and arranged a private chauffeur to transport us from the airport. She was very friendly, spoke very good English and took time to get us well oriented to the apartment and surrounding village to dos. We love the apartment, easy access, super old school elevator! AC worked well, wine and coffee upon arrival, bed was comfortable, place was very clean and had all the amenities we could ask for including umbrellas, full kitchen, maps, and suggested places to eat, visit, and do in both the near by neighborhood and throughout Rome. We were in Rome and visited all districts, and none were as safe, cozy, and delicious, and natural as Testaccio. The electric scooters were our favorite mode of transport, dinner at the restaurants on our street were the best in Rome. The 6am open Cafe Barberini was a 2 minute walk with friendly workers and outstanding pastries, fresh OJ, and coffee to start our day. If and when we ever visit Rome, we will stay ant Paola’s home and recommend to all. 6 Stars!

Casa Della Robbia Testaccio Rome

Beautifully appointed apartment in the heart of Testaccio. The owner was amazing and no issue or question was to great. The information folders and tips available at the apartment were excellent resources. We stayed in the apartment for 1 month. It was lovely and quite and good for sleeping at night. All appliances were available that are required for a comfortable stay. It was obvious that the owner had taken care in appointing the apartment. Testaccious is a local Roman community and has 2 Piazzas to enjoy Grocery stores, 2 butchers, hairdressers, pharmacy, gelateriad, restaurants, bars (cafe)… All you need can be found in Testaccio and close to the apartment. Pyramide Metro and Porta San Paolo stations nearby. For easy access to Roman sites and also to the beautiful beaches if you get time (takes about and hour). Overall 5 star for property owner, apartmento and location

Great starting point for italy

My 19 year old son and I wanted something downtown for a quick intro and starting point to adjust to the time change (we came from the US) in Rome before heading out to explore the rest of Italy. It was 100 degrees in Rome and the air conditioning worked beautifully. Paola was out of town so she had her friend, Donatella, check us in. Communication with Paola ahead of time was excellent and Donatella was an absolute delight. She didn’t speak English but managed to show us everything we needed about the apartment. Location was very convenient. We walked to some of our destinations and Ubers were available every time we requested one within 2 minutes. We visited the trattoria a few doors down from the apartment where we had gnocchi made to order any way we wanted it with excellent service from Max. At night the apartment was so quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfy and my son said the same about the pullout sofa. There is an elevator but other than ck in with our luggage, we just took the stairs. We only stayed for two nights before we headed for the coast to escape the heat, but it was lovely. Zero complaints. Very clean and well appointed. Wifi also worked well. Next time we come to Italy we would def stay again. Thank you, Paula and Donatella!!

Nearby all the public transports: bus+metro (tube)+train station. All the main touristic sites are reachable by an easy walking.
