113 'de belle propriété au bord du lac boisé sur la première partie du lac Wallon, niché à côté de la forêt d'État Mackinaw. Profitez d'une vue spectaculaire sur le lac wallon depuis la vaste terrasse qui entoure les deux côtés de la maison, qui est construite sur la colline surplombant le lac. Un emplacement idéal pour les skieurs (15 minutes à Boyne Mountain et 30 minutes à Boyne Highlands et Nubs Nob) et les motoneigistes (le lac wallon gelé offre un accès à pied / en voiture aux sentiers de Charlevoix, Emmet, Cheboygan et Otsego County).

La maison est entièrement aménagée avec des équipements pour un séjour très relaxant, y compris une cuisine gastronomique avec réfrigérateur à boissons, un téléviseur HD de 60 pouces au niveau inférieur, un système audio Bose au niveau principal, une grille au propane haute capacité, un mobilier de pont complet et un quai avec un grand bateau puits et terrasse. À seulement 10 minutes de Boyne City et de Walloon Village, et à 20 minutes de Petoskey et de Charlevoix. Cuisine / salle à manger / salon à aire ouverte avec vue imprenable sur le lac via deux murs de porte coulissants de 9 '. Superbes vues sur le lac et sensation très spacieuse via un plafond cathédrale de deux étages vers l'eau. Le niveau inférieur sans ascenseur bénéficie également d'une vue imprenable sur le lac depuis le coin télévision et la chambre.

Cette maison bien aménagée peut accueillir 12 lits (13 avec futon): la première chambre (au premier étage) a un lit queen avec salle de bain principale et un mur de porte coulissant sur le pont; la chambre deux (deuxième étage) a un ensemble de lits jumeaux et un ensemble de lits superposés; la troisième chambre (deuxième étage) a un lit queen; les chambres du deuxième étage partagent une salle de bain «Jack-n-Jill»; la chambre à coucher quatre (niveau inférieur) a un lit king, une fenêtre panoramique de 9 'avec vue sur le lac et un accès direct à la salle de bain complète au niveau inférieur. Le coin télévision du niveau inférieur dispose également d'un lit de repos avec lit gigogne (couchage pour deux), d'un futon et d'un wet-bar.

Le premier étage a également une demi-salle de bain.
Les équipements supplémentaires incluent une laveuse et une sécheuse pleine grandeur, un lave-vaisselle, une connexion Internet haut débit sans fil et un chauffe-eau sans réservoir fournissant un approvisionnement ininterrompu en eau chaude.

Walloon Family Vacation

Excellent stay on Walloon Lake! House had everything that we needed for our family (6 adults, 3 small children)! Clean! Loved the 2 refrigerators that were available due to the size of our group. Swimming area was very nice down at the dock. Perfect for the young kids! Appreciate the hoist for our boat rental! David was an excellent host. Very responsive to any questions we may have had. Appreciated his recommendation regarding a pontoon rental for our stay. Overall a great stay! Would definitely return!

Bedrooms upstairs a/c units need to be cleaned or replaced.Too hot. Needed to clean outside garbage up from outside trash bins,animals I would guess.However,it was stocked with everything,such as paper towels,toilet paper,garbage bags.That was nice.

Great week on the lake!

This was our third year renting this property, and as always, it was a wonderful stay. The property is first class, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a family vacation. Highlights are the fantastic deck, the sandbar, and the beautiful view of Walloon. Will be back again next year!

Family vacation

We loved everything about our stay! David was very responsive and easy to work with. The house is great and worked very well for three generations of family staying together. The kitchen is very well supplied, beds and linens are comfortable, beautiful lake location, really no complaints and we will be back next year!

Spectacular views!

We rented this home and the neighboring property for a golf centric trip. Both homes are fantastic. The amenities are wonderful and the lake views from each home are spectacular. For what it’s worth, there are multiple golf options. We would definitely rent these properties again.

Incredible house on a gorgeous lake

Can’t say enough good things about this property. Stayed here with three couples and four young kids. Plenty of room, great dock and boat, and a wonderful week of memories. A plus.

Beautiful secluded location yet close to town

We are annual summer renters in northern Michigan and this home was perfect for the different ages groups we had. If you like trail running, mountain biking or strolling through the trees this is the perfect location. The dock worked wonderfully for our boat and the shallow water made a great spot for throwing toys off the end of the dock for the dogs and swimming for the kids. The host was welcoming and the house had everything we needed and more!!

Lovely property

The house and property was beautiful. We arrived late at night due to airline delays and it was dark and stormy. We had no idea of the beautiful views we had until the next morning. It was breathtaking. We had a little glitch with not knowing the code to get in the door when we arrived, but VRBO called the owner and solved it. I love this property and will definitely try to stay here again when we are in the area.

Family vacation

Our three families stayed here and had a great vacation. The communication from the property owner, David, was exceptional from the beginning. The house was spacious and abundantly stocked with everything we needed. We also rented the owners pontoon boat for the week. The dock was perfect for sunbathing and watching sunsets. The deck was spacious and fire table was awesome. We spent most evenings on the deck and playing card games on large kitchen table. With being in the woods, you have to be careful with opening door at dark not to let tons of bugs into house. It was a great vacation and would recommend this house and property owners, David and Laurie, to others!!

Relaxing Vacation

Upon our arrival we were met by the owners son and he was very accommodating and helpful with any questions we had regarding the house. The house was beautiful, had everything we would need for the weekend. My husband is a runner and loved the trail being close to the house so he could run. The kids loved the lake, it was clear and beautiful. The only minor complaint that I would have is that the Wifi was slow and even non-existent but I didn't mind that. The kids were not on the phones all the time and my husband didn't work, so a bonus in my mind.

One of the most beautiful spots I've stayed

The location/setting of this house is amazing, and the host is exceptionally cooperative, both of which led to a terrific vacation overall. First and foremost, without the cooperation of the host, this vacation wouldn't even have happened, so he's very good to work with. Walloon Lake is big, warm, and excellent for all kinds of water activities, even in June when many of the other lakes are too chilly. The paddle boards and kayaks included with the house were awesome. The view from the deck was beautiful, and the gas fire pit up there was great for s'mores! The house is perfect for extended family - three floors gave us all plenty of room to spread out and make ourselves at home. All that being said, and as other reviewers have noted, the house is a bit tired, and it has the same issues as many of the houses on lakes in Michigan do. There is a significant ant problem in the kitchen (host has bait out, but those little buggers were very persistent and we had to keep everything sealed tightly), and the basement is pretty dark and damp (not wet, just damp). Kitchen cabinets are peeling, bathrooms are functional but dated, and towels could use a good bleaching and or replacement. There was also very little water pressure in all of the sinks (though the showers were ok and the toilets worked fine). Anyway, overall I would still highly recommend this place because of the host, the location, and the overall functionality of the house. We had a lovely vacation.

Perfect Family Vacation!

This home was perfect for our family! It’s beautiful, incredibly roomy and has every amenity you could possibly need…starting with a great location and view! All of our adult kids had the space they needed, and fun water toys to keep everyone happy and active! We’re looking forward to going back next year!

Hidden gem!

We loved this spacious and beautiful home on Walloon Lake! There were plenty of beds and bathrooms, and it had all of the comforts of home. We were sad to leave. We hope to be back next year and maybe rent the other cottage next door!

We had a great week! The house was perfect for our needs and the deck was a great place to hang out with our family.. We took full advantage of the lake. David was great to work with. Truly fantastic week with our family

What a wonderful week in a spectacular setting on Walloon Lake! The property photos were very accurate and we thoroughly enjoyed the boat dock, boat, paddle boards and fire pit areas. The location was excellent walkable to Boyne city and just a quick trip into the Foot at Walloon. The trail hikes were fantastic! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful week on the lake.

My family and I enjoyed a week on Walloon at this beautiful home on the lake. Great location with sandbar perfect for the kids and well protected from windy days. The house itself was perfect for extended family with a fantastic deck and lots of living space to spread out in. Having AC was nice as it was quite warm most of the week. Everything was well stocked and ready to use. We will be back next year!
