Appartement indépendant, 2 niveaux avec 2 chambres indépendantes et fermées, en bon état et pratique dans maison liée à l'histoire de la ville. Entretien facile et accueil personnel sur place. Possibilité de location de linge, service ménage sur option. Gare à 20mn (à pieds) donc possible d'arriver/partir par TGV. Si voiture .. parking abonnement 15 euos la semaine sur l'application PayByPhone (places bleue).
'Palais des Princes' pourquoi ?: L'appartement HomeAway Abritel 590677 se situe dans le centre historique de la ville (la construction de la maison par la famille Grimaldi en 1650 Jean II grand bienfaiteur de la ville y habita !).
Les bâtiments ont été rénovés et les façades ravalées en 2010.

2 min de la Cathédrale St Michel, 'Palais des Princes', Vieille Ville Menton, maison classée du XVIIéme
5 min du centre piéton avec un traditionnel marché couvert, des boutiques et restaurants
2 min de la plage des Sablettes (par Traversée des Diamants), avec un centre des jeux pour les enfants.

Le centre de la Ville et la promenade sont entièrement accessibles à pieds. La rue Longue est accessible aussi pour les voitures temporairement ,ce qui permet de déposer des bagages, d'avoir un taxi etc. Mais elle devient piétonne. En général on y laisse la voiture et allons à pieds dans la ville c'est + facile avec la circulation dans la ville organisée par sens uniques. L'appartement est au dernier étage (4ème) avec vue sur mer et montagne vers l'Italie !

Pour la gare TGV : Pour la gare TGV :descendre à 'Menton centre' et non 'Garavan'
Il est facile de venir à pieds (compter 20mn avec valises à roulettes nous l'avons fait avec ... des enfants)

Quand vous arrivez, 2 lits doubles sont préparés (4 personnes). Au delà de 4 personnes les tarifs de location des draps sont à voir avec Delphine : serviette de bain,draps lit simple, draps lits doubles et canapé-lit.

L'abonnement cable internet inclus dans le prix de location (période estivale). le code wifi est imprimé sous la box SFR dans la pièce du haut (abonnement SFR fibre optique internet 1Mb/sec, Wifi, TV, téléphone). Les autres charges et les consommations eau/électricité sont incluses dans la location. L'inventaire des objets est strictement inventorié (photos) et toute détérioration ou absence de ces objets sera facturé.

Commerces et excursions: Quelques précisions qui peuvent vous être utiles : commerces et marché: Mme Delphine Amato vous indiquera les meilleurs points et coins sur le marché et dans Menton (on fait à pieds 200 m pas loin par rues piétonnes)

Excursions: Castellar Castillon Sospel Rocquebrune Gorbio c'est bien (pas loin) et encore mieux La Madone d'Utelle (assez loin derrière Nice compter la demi journée). San Remo et Vintimille en Italie: à notre avis la vieille ville et le centre sont intéressants .

Why 'Palais des Princes'?: The HomeAway Abritel 590677 apartment is located in the historic center of the city (the house was built by the Grimaldi family in 1650, and John II, a great benefactor of the city, lived there!).
The buildings were renovated and the facades resurfaced in 2010.

You will be:

2 minutes from St. Michael's Cathedral, the 'Princes' Palace', and Menton Old Town, a listed 17th-century house
5 minutes from the pedestrian center with a traditional covered market, shops, and restaurants
2 minutes from Sablettes Beach (via the Traversée des Diamants), with a children's play area

The city center and the promenade are fully accessible on foot. Rue Longue is also temporarily accessible to cars, allowing you to drop off luggage, call taxis, etc. However, it is now pedestrianized. Generally, you leave your car there and walk around the city; it's easier with the one-way traffic. The apartment is on the top floor (4th) with views of the sea and mountains toward Italy!

For the TGV station: Get off at 'Menton centre', not 'Garavan'.
It's easy to get here on foot (allow 20 minutes with rolling suitcases; we did it with... children).
You will be welcomed by Ms. Delphine AMATO. We will provide her contact information when you confirm your reservation.

Upon arrival, the apartment will be cleaned and two double beds will be made up (sleeps 4). For more than 4 people, please consult Delphine for linen rental rates: bath towels, single bed sheets, double bed sheets, and sofa bed sheets.

A cable internet subscription is included in the rental price (summer). The Wi-Fi code is printed under the SFR router in the upstairs room (SFR fiber optic subscription with 1Mb/sec internet, Wi-Fi, TV, and telephone).

Shops and excursions: Some useful information: shops and market: Ms. Delphine Amato will show you the best spots and corners in the market and in Menton (it's a 200m walk along pedestrian streets).

Excursions: Castellar, Castillon, Sospel, Rocquebrune, Gorbio are good (not far), and even better: La Madone d'Utelle (quite far behind Nice; allow half a day). San Remo and Ventimiglia in Italy: in our opinion, the old town and the center are interesting.

Sie befinden sich:

2 Minuten von der St.-Michael-Kathedrale, dem Fürstenpalast und der Altstadt von Menton, einem denkmalgeschützten Gebäude aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, entfernt.
5 Minuten von der Fußgängerzone mit einer traditionellen Markthalle, Geschäften und Restaurants.
2 Minuten vom Strand Sablettes (über die Traversée des Diamants) mit einem Kinderspielplatz entfernt.

Das Stadtzentrum und die Promenade sind vollständig zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Rue Longue ist vorübergehend auch für Autos zugänglich, sodass Sie Gepäck abstellen, Taxis rufen usw. können. Inzwischen ist sie jedoch verkehrsberuhigt. Normalerweise lassen Sie Ihr Auto dort stehen und gehen zu Fuß durch die Stadt; die Einbahnstraße macht es einfacher. Die Wohnung befindet sich im obersten Stockwerk (4.) mit Blick auf das Meer und die Berge Richtung Italien!

Für den TGV-Bahnhof: Steigen Sie an der Haltestelle „Menton Centre“ aus, nicht an der Haltestelle „Garavan“.
Sie erreichen uns bequem zu Fuß (planen Sie mit Rollkoffern 20 Minuten ein; wir haben es mit … Kindern geschafft).

Sie werden von Frau Delphine Amato begrüßt. Ihre Kontaktdaten erhalten Sie bei der Buchungsbestätigung.

Bei Ihrer Ankunft wird das Apartment gereinigt und zwei Doppelbetten bezogen (für 4 Personen). Bei mehr als 4 Personen erfragen Sie bitte die Mietpreise für Handtücher, Einzelbett- und Doppelbettlaken sowie Schlafsofa-Bettwäsche bei Delphine.

Ein Kabel-Internet-Abonnement ist im Mietpreis enthalten (Sommer). Der WLAN-Code befindet sich unter dem SFR-Router im Zimmer im Obergeschoss (SFR-Glasfaser-Abonnement mit 1 Mbit/s Internet, WLAN, TV und Telefon).

Ausflüge: Castellar, Castillon, Sospel, Rocquebrune, Gorbio sind gut (nicht weit), und noch besser: La Madone d'Utelle (ziemlich weit hinter Nizza; einen halben Tag einplanen). San Remo und Ventimiglia in Italien: unserer Meinung nach sind die Altstadt und das Zentrum interessant.
