Ocean View Home - vues inégalées

Notre maison est située à Solana Beach à l'ouest de l'autoroute 5 sur une colline surplombant le magnifique océan Pacifique. De la cour arrière (remarque: la cour arrière n'est pas entièrement clôturée), vous pouvez voir La Jolla au sud et Dana Point au nord. Notre maison a été récemment rénovée et décorée, y compris de nouveaux lits et draps. C'est à trois minutes en voiture de la plage ou à dix minutes à pied. Si vous cherchez des couchers de soleil paisibles et dégagés dans une maison élégante et confortable avec toutes les commodités possibles, c'est la maison qu'il vous faut.
A proximité se trouve le quartier commerçant de Cedros, la gare de Solana Beach (le train va vers la vieille ville et le centre-ville de San Diego, Petco Park (baseball Padres)). En bas de la colline vers l'océan se trouve l'autoroute 101, où il y a des restaurants, des magasins et un accès à de nombreuses plages. Nos endroits préférés sont Pete's Coffee, Pizza Port, Station Sushi et Robertos Mexican (pour emporter rapidement).
Juste à l'est de la maison se trouve un centre commercial avec une épicerie Sprouts, CVS et café Starbucks.

Six Star Rental

As other reviewers have noted, the house is even better than the pictures. It is bright and comfortable, private, extremely well-equipped, perfectly clean, and has beautiful gardens all around. The location is just right for doing everything in the San Diego area, and the sunsets over the ocean are spectacular. Host Lisa was great!

Amazing Views, Ideal Location, Lovely Home with Great Amenities

We just enjoyed a summer week in this lovely home. The house is just up the hill from Fletcher Cove beach (3 minute drive, 10 minute walk) - close to the beach, shops and restaurants in family friendly Solana Beach. You can see the water in the distance from most windows in the home and there is a large patio bordered with abundant succulents and garden landscaping with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the sunsets and a grill. Inside decor is upscale costal California with a large living area and an extremely well stocked kitchen. Lots of light and an airy feeling. Bedrooms had very comfortable beds and soft linens. Plenty of bathroom and beach towels were available. Check-in was easy and check-out even easier (no long list of tasks that I have experienced at other VRBO properties). We have been vacationing in San Diego area for the last 11 summers - from Mission Beach to La Jolla. This was our first time in Solana Beach and we are sold! Tucked between Del Mar and Encinitas - it was great launching point for our daily adventures, had great shopping and wonderful beaches for our kiddos to enjoy boogie boarding. Highly recommend this area and this home!

Family beach time!

We had a wonderful time at Solana Beach . This property was exactly as they described. It was clean & had everything we needed. We had our lab with us & the Del Mar dog beach was near by & she loved it! Our adult kids came for the weekend & they also enjoyed the house. We cooked a few meals ‘ the kitchen had all that we needed. We will come back for sure!

Summer Visit to San Diego

This property is located in a great location - a short walk to downtown Solana Beach for food, shopping and beach time. The house is spacious, clean and has the most fantastic home garden I've seen. The back porch was perfect for relaxing and watching the beautiful sunsets.

Paradise

The space probably isn’t large enough for us to share our wonderful experience at this home. We stayed for extended period of time which wasn’t long enough. It felt like our home the entire time we were there. Our favorite times were at sunset - enjoying a drink and the view of the ocean was unexplainable ! Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us. We will definitely revisit...perhaps before we even leave the area :))

Perfection!

Absolute comfort and quality. We wanted for nothing as the house was by far the most well stocked that we have ever rented. Soft sheets, tons of fluffy towels, soaps, paper products, detergent, everything you could need in the kitchen, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas etc. The view was lovely and the garden/landscaping was spectacular. A beautiful, clean house on a quiet street; an easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants of Solana Beach. I would rent this house again without hesitation!

Ocean views

My family recently stayed at this gorgeous home in Solana Beach and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home. First, the ocean views are stunning - the photos do not do it justice. Literally, every room has an ocean view- it was simply stunning. We spent most nights grilling on the outdoor BBQ while gazing out over the ocean and then would eat outside and watch the sunset. The mornings were spent drinking coffee looking for whales on the horizon while hummingbirds buzzed around the well kept garden. In addition, the inside of the house is very well appointed, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything a gourmet chef could want (and recently remodeled), and the bedrooms were perfect for my family of 6. There was plenty of towels, linens, and fully stocked with all the essentials. The owners were great to deal with and the check in and check out was a snap. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Awesome family trip to Del Mar for Kaboo!

We had a fantastic time staying at this incredibly clean and cute property with an amazing view of the ocean! The location was perfect for strolling down to the beach and restaurants at Solana Beach or a short drive to Del Mar. We were able to walk to the Del Mar Fairgrounds in 20 minutes conveniently through the neighborhood. If needed, the coaster station is within half a mile too! The owner made many great food recommendations and we were even lucky enough to run into her briefly at a nearby fish place. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to this area.

Really a great home.

We had a family of 2 grand parents, two parents, and 4 little girls ages 2, 4, 6, and 8. The house was almost perfect for us. Plenty of space, and a great location. We were close to the beach, and close to the shops and restaurants in town. The owner was very helpful with ideas about where to eat, beaches that were good for kids, and shopping. Also, the house was well supplied with beach towels, chairs, and kitchen stuff. All in all, and really great home.

Everything it promises to be, and then some

We had an amazing stay at this lovely home. It is clean, spacious, comfortable and the views are amazing. We spent countless time on the patio chilling in the sun, sipping wine, and enjoying the ambience. Ordered take-out Thai from Similan a few blocks away and enjoyed a relaxing dinner on the patio. It's a short stroll down to the beach and Cedros Design Distric. Peet's coffee is less than a five minute walk away and opens at 5am - super convenient for anyone visiting from the east coast, as we were. We'll be back next time we're in the San Diego area.

Wonderful Home

We were fortunate enough to enjoy an extended stay at this beautiful property. I cannot say enough great things about it. The views are amazing, the surrounding gardens beautiful and well maintained, and the house equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owners are a joy to work with. Very attentive to every detail including a lovely welcome basket as well as concern that everything is well maintained and in proper order. Looking forward to a return visit.

"This is our third time VRBO-ing at this beautiful spacious home. Top of the line comfort in excellent decor with Pacific Ocean views to die for. My family loves watching sunsets, some truly spectacular, from the unobstructed 180 degree views of the ocean. The beautifully manicured gardens contribute to the tranquility one feels while waiting for the sun to set. Beach, shops, buses and trains within easy walking distance. Parking plentiful. Owners have always delivered as promised. Calls and texts promptly responded to. Mary NYC

The Best

We recently stayed at this beautiful house. My husband and I were there with our two teenagers and my in-laws. The house was everything that we wanted it to be. We were welcomed with wine, cheese and crackers...nice touch after sitting in traffic. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and bright. The view is spectacular. We spent every morning and evening sitting outside enjoying the ocean view. The kitchen is well stocked and we used the grill as well The location is perfect. Easy access to I-5, restaurants, grocery and the beach. I hope we will be able to stay again. I would highly recommend this property!

Coastal elegance

My family and I recently stayed at this property just north of san diego and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. First of all....the VIEWS! The house is located a few blocks from the beach on a hill and all you see out the back is ocean- from La Jolla to Los Angeles..just incredible. My family and I shared many gorgeous sunsets that we will not soon forget. As for the house, which has recently been remodeled and has all new furniture, it was so comfortable and inviting- we didn't want for anything. The owners have supplied everything one could need for a beach get away. Finally, the kitchen is a gourmet chefs dream! While you are preparing your meals you can look out over the Pacific and watch the whales go by, just ideallic, As a bonus, the house is located on a cul-de-sac so if you have any little ones that like to play outside its very safe. I would highly recommend this property! My family and I fee so lucky to have found this place and definitely plan on returning.

Amazing home

We were a family of 3 generations and thoroughly loved the home, area, and all the amenities. I would highly recommend this home for a family or 2 families as it is so well equipped, comfortable, and spacious. The pictures do not do it justice! Thank you Vanessa for all that you did to make us feel at home in your home. I will highly recommend this place to anyone.

Beautifully house with unbeatable views, upkeep, owner and location!

Wow! We had a last minute booking (off season) due to issues with another house we booked and the owner was extremely helpful, responsive, gracious, and flexible. The house is wonderful, from the spacious master suite with the ocean views to the well stocked kitchen and gas grill, cooks will be able to make anything. The house is updated, spacious and airy and one floor for those not wanting stairs. The views from inside and on the back patio are amazing!! We loved to sit outside and look at the ocean. The yard has beautiful landscaping. Walking distance to the beach, town, the train, Peet's Coffee, Sprouts, etc. The neighbors are super friendly. Solana Beach Farmer's market has GREAT food too. It's also close to I-5 so very easy to get around. The neighborhood is also great to walk around and look at houses, etc. Definitely a house for future visits!! This house is the BEST find!
