Welcome to Villa Angela, a charming historic complex of just three flats located in Toirano, 3 km from the seafront of Borghetto Santo Spirito and its famous beaches. Our holiday home is the ideal choice for those who love the countryside and want a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of the city and the Riviera. The flat, located on the ground floor, has been recently renovated with a strong focus on maintaining and enhancing the historical features of the house, combining the charm of the past with modern comforts. The spacious living area features a fully equipped kitchenette and a practical single sofa bed. The spacious and bright double bedroom has a French window that leads directly to the courtyard, perfect for enjoying the peace of nature. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a shower. All the windows are mirrored to ensure greater privacy. The flat is complete with air conditioning, internet connection and a washing machine, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. Outside, the courtyard is ideal for organising pleasant family barbecues. In front of the house, parking is convenient and easily accessible.
In Toirano the obligatory stop is its beautiful natural caves that will leave you breathless. If you love architecture, one of the main points of interest is the Church of San Martino, located in the historical centre and famous for its bell tower and Baroque altars. Also in the old town centre, the Oratorio del Transito di San Giuseppe (Oratory of the Transit of St Joseph) is worth a visit, with its marble altar and slate dome. In the Braida district is the Church of the Madonna del Rosario known for its works of art by Ligurian artists. Another site of interest is the rock sanctuary of Santa Lucia built inside a cave that offers a beautiful panorama of the Toirano valley. In the village of Barescione, the Oratory of Saints Peter and Rocco preserves a valuable statue of San Rocco. For lovers of medieval architecture, the Abbey of San Pietro in Varatella is a must-see, preserving Romanesque frescoes and arches. The location is perfect for mountain bikers, offering beautiful trails just a few kilometres away.
