Perfect place to stay in Nerja

This first floor apartment was ideally located in a nicer part of Nerja, yet only minutes walk to everywhere I wanted to be. Clean and very well equipped, the terrace upstairs was a great area to relax and eat. Lola was a very helpful and communicative host. The price was also very good value compared to lots of other - less nice - places I looked at. Highly recommended.

Pros: My husband and myself stayed in Lola's apartment for a week in June. The apartment is exactly as it says ,during are say Lola left a bag of tomatoes on are door Handel which we thought was very nice of her she is a lovely lady and you are left alone considering Lola and her family live on ground floor. The location of the apartment is fantastic a very short walk into the square with all shops and restaurants and beach. Would highly recommend this apartment and location to my family and friends thank you Lola .

Excellent apartment. The location is a blessing and a curse

Pros: The apartment itself was really great. Had everything we needed and more. The solarium is fantastic. Cons: The location meant that it was conveniently placed for everything we wanted to do. However, it was noisy. Nightly refuse collection, daytime building works, on a major street and cross road. The apartment itself was faultless but I think it unlikely that we would rebook because of the noise at night.

Pros: We enjoyed our 8 night stay in this comfortable, conveniently located apartment. It has a fab roof terrace which catches the sun all day. The negatives are bed is a little firm, TV not in English (not really a problem) and the noise at night . The bin men collect every night around 2am and everyone travels by scooter and the noises just bounce off the tall buildings in the narrow streets. But it is a very well located apartment - 5 mins to good supermarket and huge amount of restaurants and shops. Very nice and helpful owner.

Pros: This apartment is really lovely, it is on one of the main streets in Nerja, within 2-3 mins to restaurants. if you have difficulty with stairs then this is not for you, the roof terrace is amazing but you need to climb 12 spiral stairs to reach it. The only negatives are that there is not a proper shower and it can be noisy at night, Earplugs would solve that problem. The owners are lovely and are unobtusive, but there if you need them.

Pros: The apartment was lovely and clean with bedding and towels clean and fresh.A good size apartment with a large terrace on the flat roof reached by a spiral staircase sunbeds and large sunshades which were great.The only downside was the noise from the bins being emptied every morning at 3 am and the noise from scooters and public chatter going back and forth from the bars and restaurants.Perhaps double glazing would have helped we did take ear plugs but they didn't help at all.Lola and her husband were excellent owners.

Pros: Lola's apartment is in a fantastic location. Less than 5 minute walk from Balcon de Europa with a huge selection of bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean and tidy with fresh towels and bedding. Air-conditioning throughout (including in the bedroom). We especially loved the private roof terrace which caught the sun all day. Lola and Manolo live downstairs and were helpful, approachable yet unobtrusive hosts. On our first day, there was no hot water. A plumber was there within a couple of hours to fix the problem. Nerja is a beautiful town with lots to see and do. We didn't have a car but were still able to explore the area using the excellent local buses (they have air-con!). Highly recommend Rio Chillar walk. Thank you Lola and Manolo, we had a lovely time and would definitely stay in your apartment again!

Pros: Lola and her husband Manolo are the most friendly and service-minded people with eye for detail we have ever met in Spain. They respect your privacy (they kindly ask permission to enter with key when you're out) and meet any request. F.e. the parasol broke and a new one was being put outside our apartment door on the same day! They only speak a few words English, but e-mail (and online translating tools) solves this minor problem. Apartment is exactly as shown on the photos and offers an enormous roof terrace, to be entered through little patio with winding staircase. Furthermore: plenty of kitchen utensils, luxurious hair dryer with diffuser, air conditioning (not in bedroom), fully electronic new washing machine, good working wifi (only in apartment, not on roof terrace). But most important: the apartment is very clean, only a 10 minutes’ walk away from Burriana beach and in the middle of the old centre. Lola and Manolo live downstairs, so it feels like being the only guests in a bed & breakfast right in the middle of Spanish life around you. We would definitely go back and highly recommend this apartment!

Pros: Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ; accueil rapide et très sympa par LOLA . La situation du gite est parfaite : à 8 minutes de la station de Bus, à 6 minutes des plages et à 5 minutes d'un supermarché (Mercadona). la rue est très calme. L’équipement est très complet : rien ne manque; grand frigo avec congélateur, grande smart tv, connexion wifi avec très haut débit, climatisation très efficace et silencieuse dans le salon et dans la chambre. La grande terrasse en toiture offre un plus certain. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Nous avons aussi apprécié la gentillesse et la discrétion de Lola et Manolo
