Météo: Beaucoup de gens considèrent que la Costa Del Sol a le meilleur climat d'Europe continentale. En moyenne plus de 320 jours de soleil par an. Pas trop chaud en été [lorsque les autres parties de la Méditerranée dépassent 38 ° C]. Et plus chaud, plus ensoleillé et plus sec en hiver [lorsque la majeure partie de l'Europe est en dessous de zéro, l'endroit le plus chaud est probablement la Costa Del Sol. Jan temps milieu des années 60]. Nerja a cependant un climat encore meilleur que le reste de la côte. Il a son propre microclimat en raison de la baie abritée et des montagnes directement derrière. El Capistrano Playa lui-même est très protégé. Il y a presque toujours une brise rafraîchissante pendant les mois d'été et les terrasses inférieures de l'appartement sont charmantes et abritées pour les bains de soleil, même en janvier. Il y a un dicton local qui décrit bien le climat, «le soleil passe l'hiver à Nerja et la brise passe l'été».

The property was extremely well kept and resourced. It had everything you would need for a pleasant holiday. Emma was easy to contact and helpful. The location was fine apart from all the steps, almost 200 down to the beach where most of the restaurants are located. The lack of public transport (buses) made the location a bit difficult. Could do with a smaller table and two chairs on the lower balcony.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm delighted you enjoyed the apartment. And thank you for the suggestion about another chair. There is plenty seating around the table with the bench seating but i think you are meaning a comfier chair? I'll get one! I'm sorry you didn't like the steps. Hopefully the amazing view made up for it, and as you saw it is a beautiful walk through the gardens, and a lift for halfway if you don't want to walk the whole way. And there is the road way down to the beach also if the steps are a problem. One of the great things about Capistrano Playa is it is the only development in that area with direct private access to the beach. There is a town bus which stops at Capistrano Playa. And great public transport on to Malaga and up to Frigiliana too. I'll make both those things more clear in the information pack. Thank you for being a lovely guest! beautiful!

amazing apartment with everything you need and a fabulous roof terrace that you will struggle to leave. great location with the beach just a 5 minute walk away and some lovely bars/restaurants within the same area. Just a 20 minute walk into the old town which is lovely. It was our second time visiting this apartment for a 4 day break and we will definitely be going back.

Fabulous apartment, great location

This is a lovely little apartment, well furnished, spotlessly clean with a great view over the sea. It’s a 10 minute walk to Burriana beach and all the bars & restaurants (quite a steep climb back up!) and a 30 second walk to the pool where there are sun loungers, bar and cafe. The owner is very responsive and happy to answer any queries. Would highly recommend, perfect for a couple.

Absolutely fabulous hideaway!!!

This Fabulous apartment is absolutely perfect for proper relaxation!! You can sit on One of The wonderful Terraces and read in peace and quiet or sit and people watch!!! So difficult to tear yourself away from The amazing view!!Will definitely book to go again!!! Absolute perfection!!!

Relaxing break

Lovely little apartment for 2. Great location with wonderful views, good balcony and roof terrace, on a pretty complex with beautiful gardens and not overlooked. Nice walk to Burriana beach through the complex and about 20 minutes to Nerja and a short drive to Frigiliana. We would definitely return to this apartment. Would definitely return.

Superb Apartment

This is a lovely apartment with spectacular views. Everything was clean and modern and very tasteful. The location is also ideal for a walk down to Burriana Beach or further afield into Nerja town. You will work your dinner off though with the walk back up the steps to the apartment.

Lovely stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at No.522. The views are amazing and the place is very thoughtfully and stylishly equipped. The walk down to the seafront was unexpectedly beautiful thro the well kept and beautifully stocked gardens. Taking the 199 steps at least once a day ensured we stayed active inbeteeen enjoying the lovely food and drinks available along the ‘strip’. Communication with Emma was excellent, very helpful. I would say that unless a lot of steps are a problem, or you want to sit and watch tv, you would struggle to find a nicer, better value place for a couple to stay in Nerja. Would certainly stay here again should we return to the area.

Wonderful apartment

Emma has made this apartment so comfortable & with everything needed for a lovely break but with style inside & out. It was spotlessly clean & well equipped. Even in March it was easy to keep the apartment warm in the cool evenings. Outside both terraces are lovely & the view stunning. We have stayed in different apartments in Capistrano playa and find it quiet and love the views. Here you not overlooked whether on the roof terrace or the lower terrace. Emma is very helpful from beginning to end. We would love to return.

Wonderful Stay in Nerja

We loved this property and the 5 day stay in Nerja. This penthouse has an almost unobstructed180 degree view of the Mediterranean Sea and we loved sitting on the deck and just looking. The one-bedroom apartment is smallish as indicated in the photos, but plenty of room for two people and we did not feel crowded at all. The apartment was very clean, the linens and sheets were good and the bed was comfortable. There are a lot of steps to get down to the beach below, but we made the trip a least twice a day and it was easy. The beach is directly below the complex (Capistrano Playa) and has a lot of good restaurants, bars and little shops. The penthouse is well appointed and quite modern (recently remodeled?). We loved our stay in this Penthouse and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Spectacular View - Great Apartment

We have been holidaying around The Med for 25 years and this is easily the best appointed apartment we have stayed at. The view is spectacular. Engagement with Emma before our stay was prompt, helpful and very much appreciated. The apartment itself provided a very comfortable stay. The decor was fresh and bright and everything worked. The terraces were excellent, although one small suggestion would be to put a smaller table in the lower terrace to free up some room around the space. The steep walk down to the beach, through the well maintained, beautifully manicured landscaping of Capistrano Playa, was very pleasant. The climb back up is a time to consider the level of your fitness and how much you value that view. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay at the apartment and would hope to return soon.

Great apartment, great location

Fantastic penthouse property on a nice complex, the only property not overlooked. We couldn’t find the BBQ that was listed but we decided to eat out every night, so it wasn’t a problem. It’s around 250 steps down to the beach, which would be difficult if not mobile, but was a great bit of exercise for us. To walk into the old town, you also need to go down the steps then up a hill, it’s a good walk after a meal and some drinks. The property did not feel as clean as you would like but we put everything into the dishwasher and had a quick wipe around, I do not think the apartment had been used for a while, so it was not a problem. Overall a great stay, fantastic property in a great location, not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Great apartment with amazing views

We have been to Nerja many times and this is the best apartment we have stayed in. The apartment looks exactly like the photos and was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked really well (although there was usually a breeze through the apartment and we never needed to use the air conditioning in the living room). The two terraces are the highlight of the apartment - very private and quiet with the most amazing views of the sea and mountains. It was always possible to get shade on the lower terrace (necessary in August!) and the upper terrace had sun all day - it would be fantastic in winter. We really enjoyed the walk into town, down through the landscaped gardens and then up the Burriana hill - it took about 20 minutes but was very manageable, even in the August heat. This will be at the top of our list of places to stay the next time we’re in Nerja (and we were very disappointed to see it’s not available in January!)

apartment522 is in a fabulous position within capistrano playa. It is top floor centre on so has stunning views out over the sea. And also to the mountains behind. It has full sun from sunrise to sunset if wanted between the 2 terraces. It has thru ventilation with windows back and front. Is light bright and airy. Is finished to a high contemporary standard. Air con. Free wifi. Full sky package tv. Easy access from the road. Close to the pool. Quiet and no noise from neighbours above as there is noone above!
