The flat is located in a side street between the harbour and Nordermarkt, making it idyllically quiet despite its central location. Flensburg's Nordermarkt is practically the culinary centre of the city, with everything you could wish for represented here. From cafés and restaurants to fish sandwiches, nothing is left to be desired. Right on the doorstep is the pier for the historic excursion steamer "Alexandra" on one side and Flensburg's shopping street begins on the other, stretching from Nordermarkt to Südermarkt and even further into Rote Straße. There are two excellent bakeries virtually on the doorstep, which are just a 2-minute walk away and ensure a good start to the day.

Excursions into the surrounding area are also possible without a car. You can leave from the jetty of the "Alexandra" saloon steamer or from the central Flensburg bus station, which is just a few minutes away. With your own car, you can reach the numerous beaches in no time and you can also start a trip to Denmark, the Danish border is about 15 minutes away.
