Makani Sands # 302 est une maison de ville 3brm 2 1 / 2ba au 3ème et 4ème étages avec 3 vérandas avec vue spectaculaire. Accès rapide à notre plage et aux barbecues. Ce magnifique condo est rempli d'œuvres d'art par des artistes locaux hawaïens. Cuisine gastronomique avec nouveau congélateur sous zéro. À l'étage, la chambre principale est sur l'océan avec une baignoire de style jacuzzi et une véranda privée sur l'océan. Chambre d'hôtes a un lit queen et salle de bain privée tout à fait remodelé 2017, lanai a mt. vues. En bas se trouve une 3ème chambre, qui est un bureau converti avec un lit gigogne qui s'ouvre en jumeaux. Il y a un canapé-lit dans le salon et une salle de bain 1/2 du couloir. Nouveaux rideaux dans le salon et planchers Tiger Bamboo à l'étage. Il y a des télévisions par câble, et il y a un coffre-fort pour vos objets de valeur. Il y a un accès rapide à notre plage pour la baignade, le kayak et la plongée en apnée et il y a une place au premier rang pour l'observation des baleines pendant les mois d'hiver. Great Experience

We stayed on Maui to celebrate my wife, her mother, and grandmother who were all celebrating milestone birthdays this year. We had a great time. The property was incredible. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon after a delayed flight in and the process was super easy. Within 5 minutes of arriving, we'd already seen whales and sea turtles off the balcony. This would continue to be a feature for the entire trip. It's walking distance from many shops, restaurants, and recreation, and the well equipped kitchen makes it easy to save money by cooking some of your meals instead of going out. The beach and patio in the back are great and there are grills for cooking out. After long days of running around or hanging out at the beach, the heated pool was great to relax in and end the day. There was very little that wasn't answered ahead of time, but Tammy was available for any questions and was super friendly. If we had to offer any constructive criticism, it would be that the lights and AC sometimes seemed counterintuitive to use. Most likely it was user error and didn't hinder our experience in the least. We enjoyed many hours on the lanais watching the whales, turtles, sunsets, and stars. We'll definitely be back to Maui and when we do we'll be staying at Makani Sands!

Nice Condo!

Nice property and great location. Amazing ocean views right from the lanai. Crazy amount of art work! Tammy made everything easier. She answered all our questions and was always easy to reach with any questions. Would definitely book here again!

Stunning views!

We came in winter to see the whales and this place did not disappoint. Sitting on the lanai watching the whales swimming by was the most amazing part of our trip. You can also snorkel right outside the property which was nice. We will definitely be coming back again! Thank you.

Great views!

I left a longer review on the property manager site, so I'll leave a shorter one here. This place is alllll about the views. It was incredible to watch whales and sea turtles right from the Lanai and listen to the waves as we fell asleep. My only wish is that there were more space to store our luggage and supplies. We loved the art, the location, the overall vibes and would definitely stay here again!

Right on the beach

Family of 5 adults - just the right size for us and can’t get a better view of the ocean. You can walk outside and go down a few steps and be in the ocean if you would like. Only downfall of the condo is that there is no room in twin bed room to put your luggage and things. A/C was hard to figure out how to work but we finally got it going as well. We would stay again when going to Maui

This place was great! Clean, staff is friendly and quick to respond. Description was just as it said. Only downfall was there wasn't really beach access, especially not for a kid. Otherwise 5 stars!

Maui Stay

Makani Sands checked all the boxes. We wanted to be in a quiet location, on the beach and close to various stores and shops. The unit 302 was perfect for our group of 7. Nice to have AC. Check in and out was perfect with Tammy. Tammy was super responsive and on property if we needed anything. No complaints.

First timers in Maui

Our family loved the property! Their was 6 of us and we fit very comfortably in the condo. The views were something out of a magazine from our lanai. Tammy was easy to get ahold of with any questions. The only thing to really say was the condo was not stocked with toilet paper or paper towels, and their was only 4 bathroom towels so we had to keep washing, and the a/c was not working very well....but those things are minimal compared to the great location, the relaxing vibe, and the size of the condo was great. We would definitely recommend for anyone with families to enjoy. Hopefully we will be back soon!

This temporary home away from home provided the perfect place for us. The decor is beyond what we could have imagined. The location is steps to the ocean. The simplicty of access to the condo and the check out process was so appreciated. The notebook of expectations was informative. I'm already making plans to return because my Ohana enjoyed themselves so much! Mahalo nui loa!

Wonderful Senior Trip to Makani Sands

Reviewer Comments: We had the pleasure of renting a unit at the Makani Sands as our destination to celebrate our daughter and her best friend as they completed their very successful sports and a high school experiences. The layout was great for two families with the office as the girls room and the adults upstairs. It was fabulous to be able to grill on the patio by the water, snorkel and play around the sea turtles that were right at the sea wall. The location is great with other beaches, grocery and farmers market within walking distance. The staff was very helpful with ideas for the week. We look forward to another visit to the Makani Sands!
