Guest followed check in instructions fine, check out not so much. Damp towels left on dining room table, loose trash left out beside the trash can and in the yard. Additionally, mud tracked all through the house, completely unrolled 4 rolls of toilet paper and did not flush the toilet. Left personal dirty laundry and removed decor off the wall. Lastly, got a noise complaint from our only neighbor about the constant slamming doors. Guest contacted us about lack of hot water, we responded and let them know that it is set at the state suggested temperature to eliminate burning accidents. Secondly, they mentioned that the sheets were not clean, they were brand new just taken out of the package for their visit. Lastly, they complained about a smell to the water and we told them the water system is a well that is regularly treated and we never had any other complaints on this issue. Guest also complained about pet hair, which this property is pet friendly and professionally cleaned after each stay. We feel after seeing the disgusting mess they left our property in, these guests were clearly just looking for a free stay.
