Set in the heart of downtown Bala, this spacious Lake Muskoka retreat offers comfort, convenience, and all the features needed for a relaxing stay. Step outside and stroll to The KEE to Bala, local shops, and nearby cafes. You’re also just a short walk from Muskoka’s famous Don’s Bakery—perfect for morning treats or an afternoon snack. Port Carling and Gravenhurst are each a short fifteen-minute drive, making this an ideal home base for exploring the area.



Inside, the cottage features four comfortable bedrooms: one king, two queens, one double, and two bunk beds (two doubles and two singles). There are also three full bathrooms (one in the bunkie) and one half bath. Pillows, blankets, linens, and towels are all provided.



In addition to the main cottage, there is a charming bunkie that boasts a SMART TV, an electric fireplace, a full 3-piece bathroom, a fridge, and a microwave. It’s the perfect hangout spot for teens and tweens to enjoy their own space while staying close by.



The kitchen is fully equipped and designed with cooks in mind. A large layout, complete with a roomy walk-in pantry, provides ample space for meal prep and storage. It includes a fridge and freezer, stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, regular coffee maker, Nespresso Vertuo *pods not included, and a full range of small appliances and cooking utensils—everything a chef could need.



The main living areas offer central air conditioning, a furnace heating system, a wood-burning fireplace, good cell service, and reliable Wi-Fi. There are three SMART TVs, a washer and dryer with detergent supplied, and an automatic generator for peace of mind during your stay. Ceiling and portable fans are also available.



A bright, spacious Muskoka-style room with large windows provides plenty of seating for up to 10 people to cozy up and watch a movie or simply enjoy the view. Outdoors, the property offers multiple ways to relax and play. The wading area allows kids to splash safely and walk into the water at their own pace. The hot tub, patio dining area, sun loungers, and dock with parking for three boats create endless opportunities for lakefront enjoyment. The fire pit and expansive backyard are perfect for family gatherings and making memories under the stars. The property offers four parking spaces, and the water supply is municipal and potable.

About 2 hours north of Toronto. Just minutes from the town of Bala for shopping, groceries, gas, LCBO and bakery. About 15 minutes to Port Carling and Gravenhurst for most all other amenities. Close to some of the great golf courses the area has to offer. Enjoy the best of Bala from this cozy cottage, walking distance to the town center, The Kee to Bala, Bala Bay Inn, and the weekly farmers market. A short drive brings you to Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery with winter skating and year-round trails, as well as Clear Lake Brewery & Beer Spa.
