Chalet exécutif au bord de l'eau avec des couchers de soleil spectaculaires, une navigation de plaisance exceptionnelle

Situé au cœur de Muskoka, ce chalet de luxe bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal sur l'eau. Il a du soleil toute la journée et de superbes couchers de soleil sur la baie tranquille. En raison de l'emplacement de la baie, l'eau est très calme et idéale pour la baignade, mais elle a accès au lac Muskoka, au lac Rosseau et au lac Joseph pour la navigation de plaisance et la pêche sans fin.

Le chalet est fini avec de magnifiques planchers de bois franc merisier et a un loft avec des plafonds de 18 pieds et une vue dominante sur l'eau. Un kayak et deux canoës sont inclus dans la location.

Le terrain est à plat sur l'eau et est sans danger pour les enfants. L'eau commence peu profonde à environ 2 pieds au rivage, après quoi le fond de granit s'approfondit progressivement jusqu'à la fin du quai. Après environ 20-25 pieds, l'eau devient profonde rapidement, mais à la fin du quai, elle est trop peu profonde pour plonger. Le fond du lac est principalement granitique avec du sable de lac. Il n'y a AUCUNE mauvaise herbe. Le slip de bateau a un faisceau de 10 pieds et environ 2,5 à 3 pieds de tirant d'eau selon la saison.

Il y a un canal dans notre baie privée qui mène au lac Muskoka / Rosseau / Joseph.

Lovely, spotless house on a lake with a fully stocked kitchen, a canoe, kayak and rowboat! Amazing!!

This property is wonderful, and the owner is extremely responsive. The house is perfectly situated on a quiet small lake. It comes equipped with absolutely everything we needed to make our vacation hassle free. At our disposal was a canoe, a kayak and a rowboat. It had a gourmet kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils, cups and glasses - everything we needed to make great meals. There is a large dining room table as well as a picnic table outside by the lake. Our only mistake was not staying longer, and I hope to return next year. It's a 5 star, relaxing place to spend time with your family. I totally recommend this property.

Relaxing Short Stay

My family and I had a relaxing stay at Vista Hermosa. The outdoor space, the dock and fire pit were definitely some of the highlights. The kitchen was welcoming and it was well stocked with dishes. Nick, the Host, was helpful and answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful Cottage - Close to town!

Cottage was exactly as described and very clean. Well stocked with tp, soap etc. Use of non-motorized water sport equipment, linens and towels were included which was nice. Owner was very friendly and helpful and was readily available for any questions. Cottage was close to the small town of Bala which was very convenient.

Great weekend stay!

The cottage was very nice! The only downsides were that the wifi data available was very minimal, as well as not being able to dispose of toilet paper in the toilets. Otherwise, our stay was great!

Comfortable and convenient

my family spent very nice three days here in May. It’s a good location on quiet shallow lake, access to paddle boats, clean house, owner is always reachable. There is a nice deck, picnic table, fireplace. Trees are gorgeous. My kids loved sitting on the rocks in lake and they were very safe. There is nothing bad to say about the house, only mosquitoes were pretty bad around this time of the year but that’s not in anyone’s control. Oh and shops in Bala close by 6 pmbin spring. Buy your groceries and beers early :). Thanks Nick for a great stay.

Great property!

Exceptionally clean cottage! Very nice dock area and flat grounds. Easy to find and had lots of parking space. Having unlimited internet (for Netflix or movie streaming) or satellite TV would have been nice for those rainy days.

Very relaxing 2 week stay

My family rented Nick's cottage for 2 weeks in june/July of 2018. Overall it was a great experience and we would rent it again. The cottage has three bedrooms which was more than enough for me, my wife and our two young kids. The two rooms on the main floor have bunkbeds, which our son was really excited about and the upstairs master bedroom has a queen bed with bath. Here is what we liked: - Great location. The cottage is in Torrance, only about 2 hours from Toronto. There is also a bakery, grocery store and other shops in bala, about 10 minutes away - On the water. The cottage has a really nice dock with shallow water, perfect for swimming with kids - Modern interior. The cottage is renovated with a modern kitchen and hardwood floors. - Very responsive owner. Nick usually responds to questions within about 5 minutes and was very helpful. - Fully stocked. The kitchen has all utensils, cups, plates and silverware. The cottage also has towels, bedding, a bbq, wood for a fire and basically everything else you need. The only considerations are: - the cottage is on a relatively small lake with lots of cottages, so if you are looking for an extremely secluded place it is probably not for you - there is no cable or AC which was fine for us but may be important to some people - There are data restrictions so if uploading/downloading a lot just use your own hotspot. Overall our family really enjoyed this cottage and would recommend it to others.

We enjoyed the stay and the cottage.

There needs to be a set of directions on the counter in the kitchen, such as how much data can be used on wifi, exactly where garbage can be taken and his phone number if he needs to be reached among other things.

great place to stay for a holiday by the lake

property was clean and convenient to get to. Owner was helpful and friendly in suggesting restaurants and things to do. Despite of the unstable weather, the whole family had a nice and relaxing holiday by the lake.

Perfect place to spend Father's Day with your kids and family

The cleanly Of the cottage is what set the vibe on the right foot. From there the hardwood floors complemented my feet and everyone experience wonderful sleep; while waking up to a stunning views!!! My 2nd time and looking forward to the 3rd❤

Very nice vacation rental amenities and location.

Rental home location is great, secluded and private. The lake seems isolated from other lakes. Bunk beds alright for kids and toddlers but little discomfort for adults. Nice large kitchen and toddlers' play area. Boys loved the place. Gravel road leading to house is steep and tricky appropriate for trucks and large SUVs. Family enjoyed the stay. Thanks.

Wow...

My family and I stayed at Nick's beautiful cottage in August 2016. We had an amazing time. The cottage was bright and comfortable. Every amenity was provided ( except towels and linens) which made our stay very easy and relaxed. Our kids loved the bunk beds and had plenty of space to play in the living room. The kitchen had every imaginable gadget and utensil - nothing was needed at all! The deck is huge and beautiful! Ample seating is available and if you want sun, there was no shortage of it. Being west facing, the sunshine was from 11 onward and we had the most incredible sunsets. We enjoyed the canoe and kayak that were provided to enjoy the quiet and peaceful bay. The lake was ridiculously warm and my husband caught some healthy pike off the dock. The area was terrific for antique hunters and is an easy drive to Bala. At the end of the road there is a tasty pizza joint that does take out and dine in. The location of this place cannot be beat! Nick was very courteous and called before our arrival to go over some things and informed us that we could call him at anytime if we had any issues. Thanks, Nick!

I am an outdoor enthusiast, and I love swimming, running, canoeing and kayaking. We have three children aged 9, 7 and 4 who love their time at the cottage. This is our family cottage and not a money making venture. Our hope is to share the beauty of northern ontario with all of our guests, and inspire them to be active and care for our environment.
